I found Just Law via their Facebook group. They are extremely professional and their advice has been invaluable.

Although I am not in a position to purchase a property in Spain yet, until next year, the Move to Spain Facebook Group, which is administered by John from Just Law, is a source for excellent information, helpful hints and tips which is helping me navigate through the various Visas etc. John volunteers his time and gives advice freely to assist anyone who has questions.

Fantastic company who run a Facebook group called Move to Spain which gives factual advice to anyone contemplating a move. John Towell runs the group with tact and diplomacy but does not suffer fools gladly in order to protect other members of the group from the usual keyboard warriors. Fabulous mine of information and advice. Keep up the good work John and all the other advisors

Excellent and professional service, Just Law supported and guided me through a real estate purchase process as a non-resident, including multiple consultations, recommendations, NIE (as part of property purchase) as well as the Will. We were attracted to Just Law solicitors initially because of their good reputation and reviews online, and it was a good choice.
What I liked about Just Law was that they seemed to have strength in depth covering all aspects of law related to house sale and house purchase, taxation and other areas besides.
Just Law gave us good advice on a concurrent sale and purchase.
They are responsive, available, and really know what they are doing.

This company is dishonest and criminal. My advice is AVOID at all costs.

I paid €3,500 upfront in November 2024 for one of their solicitors, Ms Nerea Palomares, to represent me in filing a crime of theft of my belongings by my ex financee who lives in Pedreguer Spain. I instructed Ms Palomares to communicate terms that needed to be agreed prior to returning my belongings (4 years after we separated) in order to protect my interests in case my belongings were damaged, missing etc. Ms Palamara’s failed to do this and tried to force me to accept my belongings come what may. At this juncture my trust was lost. I complained to the owner of JUST LAW Solicitors, John Towell, in various email exchanges since the beginning of January 2025. He completely denied that his colleague and firm had been dishonest and lied to me and refuses (as of today 14 January 2025) to return all of my monies so I can instruct a new solicitor to take on my claim. As of today I am contacting my bank to see if they can reclaim my money and I am filing a complaint against JUST LAW Solicitors with their equivalent of an ombudsman, ‘Abogados Malaga’. If anyone would like proof of this issue eg all email communication, leave me your email address.

Update 16 January 2025: I have found 4 to 5 other negative reviews online relating to Just Law Solicitors. This seems to be a pattern of behaviour with the same pattern of excuse making e.g. Just Law accuse the customer of being rude, they give a dishonest review of their account of events. Trust Pilot contacted me as they said 'someone had flagged my review up as 'defamatory' (oooh I wonder who that might have been?) but after checking Trust Pilot found my review to not be defamatory! I have forwarded the emails to Just Law Solicitors as they are now threatening me with legal action which I welcome as I have enough proof to show negligence, lack of client duty of care, lying to me, etc.

I lived in Costa Blanca for 3 years (2018 to 2021) and I found that a lot of services offered in the Costa Blanca region were only too glad to take your money but would then either not deliver or deliver a sub-standed service. I wonder if this is a culture problem.

22.01.25 - I have about to file a complaint against Just Law Solicitors with all of my evidence that they did not follow my instructions to protect the condition that my belongings may be in even though, in an email, Ms Palomares said that she had communicated the terms to my ex partners lawyer. I wrote to my ex partners solicitor and made sure he was aware of the terms and conditions, he then sent me a copy of the email correspondence between him and Ms Palomares and guess what? SHE DID NOT COMMUNICATE MY TERMS AND CONDITIONS. *If she was the client (me) and had £250,000 of jewellery and designer hand bags and I was the solicitor acting for her I am sure she would be asking me to protect her interests as to the condition of her belongings, missing items etc. I will update as and when.

1 Feb 2025: I have requested copies of work Just Law Solicitors claim to have done for me. I have asked for a statement on account in English. The Denuncia does not require evidence yet Just Law never filed the Denuncia!!!! I will be submitting my complaint to the Spanish Bar Association along with the Code of Conduct breaches made by the firm.

4th February 2025 - JUST LAW SOLICITORS BLOCKED ME. I am now talking to the British Embassy and filing my complaint to The Spanish Bar Association in Madrid. *STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM.

18 February 2025 / I have filed a Complaint & Claim for my money to be refunded with The Madrid Bar Association.

I had the pleasure of working with Just Law Solicitors, specifically Belen, Ana, Victoria, and Pablo, over the course of more than six months as we prepared to move to Spain. Their team managed all the legal aspects for us, including obtaining NIE numbers, setting up bank accounts, and handling our property purchase.
