Very easy to work with Kan. He was very easy to reach over email and arrived early to the shoot. The picture were great quality and he has a lot of good ideas for location and poses.

Mr. Kan was exactly what you want in a city photographer. Calm, efficient, and sharp eyed. He knew where to put me, how to use the streets and light, and when to move fast so nothing felt staged

The shoot took a good amount of time, but it never dragged. He kept the pace steady and the direction clear. Small adjustments, big difference. Posture, angle, expression, all handled without making it difficult.

If you want strong city photos that look natural and polished, book Mr. Kan. Professional, reliable, and the results speak for themselves. I will definitely recommend and likely will attend again.

We were able to communicate easily with Kan as he is fluent in English. It makes the session so much easier for us. He also has an eye for details and the photos turned out great! He is able to capture our natural expressions. He also knows the environment well and is able to tell us where to go specifically so that we do not waste time travelling. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants their photos to be taken professionally.

Kan did an amazing job taking photos of my family. I have a toddler and a baby and he was extremely patient with them. He was also able to engage my toddler which was a fantastic quality. The photos turned out amazing and we’re so glad we got them to remember our first trip as a family of 4. Kan is also very personable which made the hour go by very quickly. We hope to meet again! Kan did an amazing job. Took amazing photos, Found some really good shots and was really good with working with my 6 and 8 year old to get them to pose and stay still. Very happy with how all the photos came out. Will treasure the photos forever.

Everything about this shoot was amazing! Our photographer Kan was super friendly and knowledgeable, and basically gave us a tour of the city while also setting us up for poses. The pictures turned out phenomenal and we left the night of feeling extremely confident with our choice. If you’re thinking about it please just book it, you won’t regret it!

Kan helped me capture my proposal in Shiba park, and I was beyond impressed with his knowledge of the park. His English is native-level, which was super helpful for me. The pictures turned out wonderful! He took time to edit all of them and we got 45 amazing shots in 1 hour! Highly recommended!

We wanted to capture our family adventure in Japan and were looking for a local photographer who could communicate easily in English and work well with kids. We were so lucky to find Kan, and as it turns out, we even had something in common — we’ve both lived in New Zealand!

Our 1-hour session at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden was such a delight. Kan knew the place inside out and gave us all the tips we needed to prepare for the shoot — rain or shine. The whole experience was relaxed and fun, and our kids genuinely enjoyed it.

I had the pleasure of working with Kan while visiting Tokyo for the first time as a solo traveler and I really enjoyed my experience with him! I had spent some weeks looking into different photographers to do a photoshoot of me in Shibuya and coming across Kan's website just made him an easy choice.

What made me book with him is how well he explained his services on his website (i.e. providing suggestions on what areas are good to book together, how much time one area might take, giving information about the different areas in Tokyo, etc.). Other photographers lacked this information on their websites so again, this made Kan an easy choice.

Kan is very easy to communicate with and he always got right back to me when I had questions prior to my shoot. I had to make a last minute adjustment to my schedule just two days before my shoot and Kan was flexible enough to move my shooting time up one hour earlier.

Meeting him at the meeting point in Shibuya was easy as it's a popular location to meet. We had some light rain that day in Tokyo (end of Oct) but I think the gloomy, rainy days makes the best photos! It really sets the mood. I wasn't hoping for a sunny day lol. Kan was also very easy and helping you "not" feel uncomfortable in front of the camera. He'll help you out with poses and your posture especially if you're timid in front of the camera. I also enjoyed getting to know Kan and more about his background.

I had scheduled a photoshoot with two other photographers (for different occasions) and I'm the MOST satisfied with my photos from Kan! Again, just a talented photographer and very professional! I wasn't sure how my photos would come out but I after he sent me the link to the photos, I LOVE them!!!!! I would definitely work with him again and would recommend him to anyone (whether you're traveling solo or with a family) if you're looking to capture memories or special moments.

Our experience with Kan taking our family photos was outstanding! He was very kind and professional. He took us to some great locations and our photos turned out great! He was really good with the kids and kept things flexible as needed depending on their cooperation. Would highly recommend!

Experience: Kan met with us in Shibuya and despite good instructions, we still ended up lost (across the street) so he went and found us! He was incredible working with our 8 month baby and was able to communicate poses to us and candid shots that resulted in amazing photos. He was also very accommodating and mindful about getting shots without our stroller while making sure we were within distance to make sure it was protected.

Overall, Kan was very professional and personable and delivered quality product timely at an amazing rate. His experience in finding the best photo shots is invaluable and would be a great addition to any trip to Tokyo.

My partner and I needed some professional business pictures, and we booked a 3 hour photo shoot with Kan in Shibuya, Tokyo. He was able to put us at ease and we all had fun during the photo shoot, capturing some great, candid-looking shots that made it look like we were having fun while working in some visually interesting locations. He was very quick to send us the pictures after. It was a great experience.
