Kan is an amazing photographer. He is extremely personable and makes capturing vacation photos a lot of fun! Also, he is an expert at navigating crowded environments like TeamLab Planets in Tokyo - all of the photos are perfect and look like we had the whole place to ourselves!

Kan was amazing! He helped me capture the surprise of proposing to my girlfriend. The photos turned out absolutely perfect! Not only was he extremely professional but he made the whole experience fun and easy. Highly recommend!

Kan is amazing! I had seen so many cute photos on social media from the TeamLabs Borderless exhibit and knew I wanted pictures of my own. Initially, I booked with someone much cheaper (NOT Kan) who seemed okay, but their work didn’t quite meet my expectations for quality.

Luckily, Kan was there to save the day!! He quickly looked at the reference photos I provided and not only met but exceeded my expectations. I originally only wanted one specific photo from one exhibit in the entire shoot—he delivered that shot perfectly and gave me so many more amazing photos I wasn’t even expecting!

The first photographer I hired mentioned the lighting was tricky in a certain exhibit and said they wouldn’t be able to get a good shot because of it. So, I had low expectations for that exhibit… but OH MAN, DID KAN DELIVER! Not only were the pictures incredibly clear and well-lit, but there was NO ONE ELSE in the photos. The place was absolutely packed, so it’s truly a miracle how he pulled it off so seamlessly.

If you’re worried about not knowing what poses, backgrounds, or shots you want—don’t sweat it. Trust the process, trust Kan. He knows what he’s doing.

I’ve worked with over 30 photographers in my lifetime, across different price points and quality levels, and I can confidently say that Kan is among the best—at a fraction of the price. He is amazing!! I would absolutely hire him again.

And here’s something I’ve learned over the years: Don’t settle for a cheaper photographer just because the one you really want seems “expensive.” In my experience, the cheaper option usually won’t give you the shots you want, and you’ll end up spending more in the long run when you have to redo the shoot (like I did with this Borderless shoot). Just book who you like! I highly recommend Kan. :)

Kan is an amazing photographer who is very fair and reasonable. We used him for our proposal pictures in the Shinjuku Gyoen Park and he was able to get stunning pictures of us despite the large crowds. He sent us three edited pictures in less than 6 hours and the rest came shortly after. We posted the pictures online and have gotten so many compliments already. He is very nice and respectful and I would definitely go with him again.

It was such a pleasure working with Kan. He is professional, attentive, and really captured the moment the way we envisioned it. I had set up a surprise proposal in Tokyo and I had some tight requirements to ensure my girlfriend would not find out. Kan was very flexible and accommodating and even though the I had to change the plan a few times, he was quick to adjust and make it work. He has a great eye for couples photo spots and our photos were way better than I had ever imagined. He went above and beyond for is and we highly recommend him for your next Japan photoshoot.

We recently had our family photos taken with Kan and we had an awesome time. Kan took us around to many beautiful photo spots while providing us with history and background to the locations/buildings. Kan had the photos ready for us very quickly and they all came out beautifully. Bonus points as he was able to keep our baby entertained. Will definitely be booking photos again!

I had a chance to engage Kan for a proposal photoshoot. He was knowledgeable in his field of expertise, providing multiple recommendations throughout the planning sessions and going the extra mile to ensure that the proposal went well, such as scouting the venue earlier to determine good photoshoot spots (which was reassuring for someone who had never been to the venue before). The photos were also of high quality, which my fiancée liked a lot. We would definitely recommend Kan for anyone planning for a proposal photoshoot.

Phenomenal experience shooting with Kan. I did a surprise proposal shoot on Tokyo Bay with a very nice boat. Kan was extra accommodating for the extra items that I needed and was super helpful. The pictures all turned out perfect and I received the album within 48 hours. Would recommend him to everyone and everyone!

Kan was very kind and experienced in directing our one-hour couples photoshoot. He was very friendly and we felt comfortable knowing we could be casual throughout. We chose a nature location since we wanted to capture the fall foliage and the photos came out quick and turned out amazing!

Kan was an absolute pleasure to work with! He is friendly and humorous, makes you feel at ease, considers your wishes and actively thinks of ways to capture the photos in a style that suits you. Even though I only booked a 1-hour session, he managed to take me to various locations to have variety in my photos.
