This service was incredibly quick - perfect as I am moving country soon and needed to sell my car. I emailed for an enquiry and within an hour got a response, and booked in to sell it the next day. I got a good price on my car and the buyer was very friendly! I would recommend.

Really quick, efficient and friendly service. I asked for a quote at about 11am and had arranged an appointment and sold the car by 2pm the same day. Felt a much better, personalised service than what you get from the big car buying websites.

Andy was great, did exactly what he said he was going to do, putting myself and my wife at ease, when selling our

I did some research on how to sell my car and found most places required work from me to create an advert, needed me to go to them, or would take some time.

Quick, simple and easy. Couldn't get an online price but got a text to call. Got a valuation that i was happy with and an appointment a few days later. I actually had to push the appointment back a little bit but they manage to work round me. The guys came over, gave it a look. Paid me what we agreed! Thankfully they did they paperwork for me as i didn't know how to do it. Took the car and that was it. Done in 20 minutes

KCB was a terrible experience for us.

To be fair, it started out well. We talked to Howard on the phone and gave him a complete rundown of our Mercedes, including the fact that it was a previous Category D (before we bought it), and its other various foibles. He was very friendly offered us a fair price and we booked our appointment for the next week to pick up the car.

Today was the appointment. About 1.5 hours before the appointment, we got an odd text from KCB saying that they were sorry, because the car was a Cat D, the valuation of the car was now [amount]. The odd thing was, a) we had already been clear that the car was a Cat D previously on the phone, and b) the "new" amount in the text was exactly what we had been quoted by Howard, and we had said we were happy with it. There was actually no misquote at all, and no problem. Again, so far so good.

We then tried to call KCB but there was no answer. So we left a voicemail and also texted to ask if they were still coming at our appointed time and if they had Howard's notes about the car.

After numerous calls with no answer, we finally got a text saying - again oddly - that they were sorry about the misvaluation. It was their fault, and they were sorry about the miscommunication. Fine, but were they coming? It was like they hadn't read or listened to any of our texts. I called them back (again no answer) and texted to say a) the price was fine and no misquote had happened, and b) to ask again if they were still coming, and c) did they have the notes from our call with Howard? I reiterated (as I had when I booked the appointment) that the car is parked 1/2 mile away, I am 7 months pregnant, and didn't want to walk down there unnecessarily if they weren't coming.

We called at least 5 times over the course of 2.5 hours and no one answered calls, voicemails, or texts from then on. Not wanting to contribute to miscommunications, we walked down to the car anyway and of course they did not show up. We have still not heard from KCB.

There are a lot of ways this could have been solved:
1) someone could have texted or called us at any point to tell us they weren't coming. This never happened. There were only vague texts that made no sense and didn't answer our questions, but only proved that they had the time to send us communications, but were either ignoring us or not listening to anything we asked.

2) someone could have texted or called at any point to tell us they weren't interested in the car.

3) the original valuation of the car - which included the Cat D descripion from us - could have resulted in a "no" from them instead of a very long and drawn out waste of our time.

There was never any explanation as to why they did not turn up for the appointment, or any communication about the appointment being cancelled. The whole experience felt wholly unprofessional, designed to aggravate us, and wasted hours of our time.

After contacting Kent Car Buyer and dealing with Opal via e mail , Andy came the next day ( today) looked at my car , bought it with no quibble on price, transferred the money and completed all the paperwork in under 20 minutes from start to finish ! , I’m still in shock ! ,

I contacted Kent Car Buyer as my Mum had to stop driving and sell her car and we didn’t want the hassle of advertising it etc. Very professional service, appointment made same day. Andy came out, looked at the car and bought it there and then. He did not try and knock the price down. He did the Bank transfer and also the DVLA paperwork on his phone. Andy is a very genuine person, not like some of the advertised companies, and was in no rush, he explained everything to us and then took the car away. Highly recommended.

Very professional and friendly when communicating. Picked up the car and paid straight away. Explained why the quote price had to change after seeing the car.

Never have I looked at reviews and found not a single negative opinion. Selling our Passat today was so efficiently undertaken, and completed to our mutual satisfaction. Andy came to our house today to pick up the car which made it so much more convenient.
He is a delightful man and ably assisted by his highly efficient colleague Opal. Neither of them seemed rushed and gave us answers to all our questions.
I would not think for a moment to go to anyone else but Andy's company, Kent Car Buyer.

Very efficient service, from filling out the online form to completing the sale. Viewed the car, agreed a figure (which was close to the estimate) and all processed there and then. Andy completed the money transfer and the DVLA part, in minutes. If you're realistic with the price of your car, then I would recommend selling with Kent Car Buyer, the whole process was so quick and simple, so glad I used them and will definitely use again.

The whole experience of selling my car to KentCarBuyer was so much better than I had experienced with the well known National Auction Companies .
After receiving an initial valuation It was agreed that Andy would visit my home the next day when after a bit of haggling a mutually acceptable price was agreed. The final deal reflected some known damage to roof but otherwise the general condition with minor scratches associated with an 11 year old car were accepted. The whole process was so clear,professional and efficient.

I tried multiple websites, motorway etc to try and get the best possible price for my 2018 Range Rover Evoque as it was in excellent condition inside and out. I informed KCB that the vehicle would need new front tyres and I would need to use the vehicle until a particular date when my new car was due for delivery. I was offered £250.00 more than I had been offered elsewhere, so I rang Andy to check this took into consideration the tyres and my needs, which wasn't a problem at all. We arranged a date and time, Andy arrived on time and the transaction was seamless (KCB paid what they offered). I'm always a little cautious in situations like this, however Andy was easy to deal with, let me check all the details before submitting the payment to JLR finance and let me watch whilst the payment went through and was confirmed as paid.

Very sad to see the car go however a very happy customer - Would recommend KCB to friends and family!

Looking to sell our older but much loved Honda Jazz. Found site online and made contact, Andy was helpful and approachable on the phone. I called back when ready to sell approx 10 days later, offered a fair price and the entire process was seamless. Andy was a pleasure to deal with. So pleased I didn’t go to the bigger ‘buying sites’ would not hesitate to recommend. When the time comes would definitely use again.
