I was first introduced to the Lemongrass and Cedarwood lotion and body wash while staying at a hotel in Ireland last year. I fell in love with the products and was excited that they could be purchased online. It's a beautiful and clean scent and the lotion is mild and not greasy. Shipping was pricey, but worth it when the product is on sale.

When I was in Dublin, I bought a Solvar necklace (worth 25€) in this shop as a present for my mom. At first we both loved it and she ended up wearing it almost every day. After about two weeks the skin on her neck began to feel itchy and we noticed that it smelled like iron, too. We found out that the necklace was actually bronze and not iron/silver as we thought, and was only sprayed with an iron layer.
Unfortunately, it irritates skin and therefore is unwearable.

(I wanted to leave this review to Solvar themselves but was unfortunately unsuccesful in finding where to do so. The shop itself looked lovely and the workers were really sweet but unfortunately this specific profuct was quite awful)

Ordered two Orla Kiely fleese size 12 but they turned out to be way too big so I to return. The quality of fleese were top class so disappointed about size. Unable to order them in size 10 or even 8 as not available. I feel Kilkenny Shop should have mentioned in the description of fleese that they were big fitting & advise shoppers to downsize, M&S Store always say if big fitting & advise to downsize.

I received a much appreciated Mother's Day gift of two lovely mugs from Kilkenny Design. The mugs are gorgeous with the fuschia pattern. They are sized 8.5cms x 9cms each.
So what's wrong? Well the packaging took excess to a new extreme. Each mug was wrapped in a large sheet of bubble wrap. They were then EACH packed into a separate cardboard box sized 35cms x 21cmx x 38cms which had paper packaging added to fill up any empty space. These two separate boxes were packed into another cardboard box sized 56 x 36 x 36cms. This box was also filled to capacity with additional paper packaging. The total amount of packaging for two mugs took up my whole landing floor.
I understand being careful, but the month before, I received 8 bone china mugs from Easons in one box smaller than the smaller two boxes. And they arrived in perfect condition.
I wrote to Kilkenny Design Customer service pointing out the insanity of their extreme packaging. I received an acknowledgement but nothing since. In this day and age when we are all being asked to be environmentally aware, I find it appalling that Kilkenny Design can be so wasteful. And that's aside from my belief that the bigger the outer box, the more expensive it is for the customer. And just to make it even worse, despite including a gift card, they failed to remove the price label from the mugs. I believe that is extremely disrespectful of my daughter who paid them to send my gift.
So to say the least, despite loving my mugs, I am unimpressed with Kilkenny Design and would not recommend them to anyone.

Items I ordered always arrive fast but sometimes the quality of Orla Kiely’s towels is not that great, after one washing they fade and come apart.

My experience with Kilkenny shop was very good but their delivery company GLS services was not. I had emailed them the previous day with revise delivery date.
The deliver on their specified date and appear to have ignored my request even though the acknowledge receipt of change of date for delivery. They dropped the package which was a Frame with Glass, in over a 6 foot side door. Luckily the Frame was so well packed by the Kilkenny shop there was no damage to the goods. I wrote to GLS to request an explanation why it was delivered on the wrong date and no satisfactory response was received. While I only gave a 3 star rating to the Kilkenny shop, the delivery company leaves a lot to be desired and I would be slow enough to order online again. Could not trust GLS.

Kilkenny Design a really Great Company to deal with. I placed my Order and goods delivered within 1 working day. Everything packed really well and arrived to my door in perfect condition. Prices in Sale were excellent as well 👍

Good selection, good value and excellent international shipping.

BUYER BEWARE, When you buy from this shop, they don’t make you aware of any duty and expense you have to pay on delivery of you products, we were shocked to receive our delivery and be told by the courier we would need to pay £55 to receive our parcel.
What was a reasonable price turned out to be expensive mistake

I ordered a blanket with a map of Ireland on it for my future son in law and daughter. They have been asking for one for a long time but had a hard time finding one I love until I found it on Kilkenny Shop. I absolutely love it and I know they will too!!

Highly satisfied with my purchase -although I was not able to access the local website, in Italy. Bought a set of crystal glasses and the quality is amazing.

Product was not available in store. After ordering online the product was not of the quality described and fell well short of expectations

I ordered an item but the discount code could not be accepted on the system. I rang customer service 2 days ago (had to hold for a considerable period) and they have yet to call me back. I received the delivery yesterday evening and need to return it. No return docket came in the bag or no instructions on any of their emails requiring me to initiate contact again. Rang again this morning again holding and then being told customer service would call me back. But the call went silent (not cut off) befote i could give my details so nobody will call me back. I will have to call and hold for a third time. What a joke. Avoid this shop. Painful.

I got confirmation of order & then nothing for over 4 days … I had to send email to receive updates….

Both Genesis items (statue & music box) are just beautiful presents.

Speedy delivery to Germany & it was very well packed, so there was no chance for any damage.
