After taking weeks to arrive the product did not look like how it was advertised. the colours were bright, harsh on the eyes, not complementary as the pictures showed and the fabric wasn’t soft. In no way was this worth the amount paid, £50.. shocking! Expect cheap market £5 quality, if that.
When I tried to return it for a refund, they quizzed me back and forth over email for days finally stating the fact that I had opened the bag to view the item was enough to not approve a refund. The item wasn’t worn, nor were the tags removed, merely just opened the bag to view the product and they won’t refund because I opened the original packaging. How you are expected to view an item you have purchased is beyond me.
Be wary of this clause in the return policy. It’s obvious they don’t want to refund you so they will try and get out of it as much as possible. They even said that they would offer me 20% off on my next purchase as a goodwill gesture, clearly not listening to what I had to say at all and still after more money. Really disappointed with the whole experience to be honest. Be careful.

The padded jacket fits perfectly and looks even better when wearing it than in photos. Great quality and comfortable for any occasion.

How this company get any business at all is beyond me and I’m so angry I fell for it! I just don’t believe any positive reviews are genuine.
Garment went straight in the bin as it could only be described as trash.
Obviously using another company’s material, which happens too often these days.
Company will not refund if garment is taken out of package, so you basically won’t get a refund under any circumstances. They had the gall to offer me a discount on another purchase - ha! As if.

Scam company. Item received didn’t match website images. Quality of item is very poor and label states made in china.

Returns process is a lie. They will not accept any returns. Their policy states that you cannot have opened the parcel if you want to return it, which is ridiculous. Their customer service is email is a bot.

The kimono was exactly as described and I love it! The colors matched the online photos and the fit was great. This makes a wonderful addition to my collection of kimonos.

After a trip to Japan earlier this year I searched for a contemporary design brand and am delighted to have found Kimonorie online. I’ve started with the Aosagi jacket to test sizing and will be back. The bold reinterpretation of traditional Japanese themes in a wearable, lightweight overtop is just what I was looking for. A unisex product, it’s been just the top layer in aircon places during the London heatwave. Folds very small to slip in a bag. Thank you team Kimonorie - excellent 💖

Really nice kimono, however it was a bit small for me, so I tried to return it. There was an issue with international postage, so the company initially offered me a free exchange, but as they didn’t offer a larger size, they refunded me the full amount but said to keep the kimono. Customer service was very helpful and the product was very nice, just a bit small for a size 14.
