Really nice kimono, however it was a bit small for me, so I tried to return it. There was an issue with international postage, so the company initially offered me a free exchange, but as they didn’t o... See more

SCAM SCAM SCAM DO NOT ORDER
I ordered a long dress on Feb 6 in a size medium, and received a very short size XL dress that shipped from China on March 12. It reeked of chemicals, and the tag said "Ao Zong Beautiful Mood" instead of "Kimonorie". They charged me $180 for this cheap piece of crap. Totally unacceptable.
Update: After two weeks of asking for a return label, they told me I could receive a store credit or I could pay to return the fake item they sent me. I ended up having to file a chargeback with my bank. Terrible company, worse customer service. Save yourself the headache and don't buy from them.

I would absolutely leave a 5 however it was shipped missing an item. BUT! Kimonorie made it right by shipping a new item. they are beautiful and colors are spot on gorgeous. I will be ordering again for sure... and appreciate the customer service for what is human error...
Prepare to be ripped off
I ordered my kimono and had to chase it up a couple of times, it finally arrived nearly 3 weeks late and I was SO disappointed with it ! Thank god I only ordered one as it was nothing like the pictures and was the cheapest, nastiest caravan type curtain from 1970 and to add insult to injury, the return policy is that you have to be accepted to return it, and low and behold there was no response to any emails requesting return instructions!! Do not use this company, it was almost laughable if it wasn’t such an expensive and annoying complete rip off !! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!
Customer service is amazing
Customer service is amazing! I accidentally purchased the wrong kimono they were super helpful and sent the new one out right away. The kimonos are very beautiful!
Excellent communication and service
Excellent communication and service. I ordered 3 items over 2 orders and then wanted to return 1 item from each order. Email communication was swift and efficient and no quibbles about the returns
Absolutely disgusted with my order the packaging is poor and product quality is on level with Chinese sites such as Temu or Sheen. I've emailed to arrange a full refund and had no reply.
The 2 items i bought were over £40 each and the quality is level to temu or sheen. Very low quality. Both parcels arrived separately and u feel they were packed in someone's bedroom using rubbish bag type parcel envelope with absolutely no paperwork on the product and how to return. I have tried to email 3 times with no reply so im fumming with disgust. Perhaps a dog shelter might find use for these products 🤔

Poor Quality Kimono
Found this company on a Google search and I wish that I hadn't. I wanted to buy a Japanese Kimono for a gift and this is exactly what the company was offering. I chose one and it looked very nice and of a good quality in the online pictures. Sadly this was not the case when the Kimono arrived. The material was very a very cheap looking nylon fabric and the quality was poor, it had white finishing tape around the neckline. The belt was very thin and skimpy. It was supposed to be one size, I am a size 14 and it just about closed across my body. It was very see through. The colours were nothing like the one on line. My delivery email said that the kimono was coming from China, at no time was this mentioned when I ordered from the company that was supposedly located in France. There was no way that I could give this garment as a gift. I was so disappointed. I wish that, that had been the end of it but no, I followed the instructions for a return, I was eligible for one, so I emailed them and asked for a returns label. They took a little while to reply and then offered me a partial refund and I could keep the kimono. I declined this offer. Then they did not reply for a couple of days so I said that I would put it in the hands of my credit card company. That got their attention and they said they would send me a label for the return. Then nothing, no label. I started a charge back with my credit card company and low and behold suddenly I had been given a refund and told that I could keep the kimono. I have now got the refund. So the end of the sorry tale is do not have anything to do with this company, their kimonos come from China not Japan. I have since seen the same kimono on Amazon at half the price coming direct from China. If I could give zero stars I would have, for poor quality and poor customer service. Avoid at all costs.
