I am giving 4 stars because the shirt I bought was a very skimpy ‘one size fits all.’ I returned it. However the customer service and refund were fast and efficient. A pleasant change these days.

They do not follow through on refunds
Returned my order and had email confirmation that return was received and that refund would be issued withn 14 days. 5 weeks later and still no refund received... in spite of my email chases and attempt to ring them. This matter is now with my credit card company. Do not order from this company!

I received a pretty rude response, I quote" Im sorry tough, we do not offer a free returns service, so returns are at your own cost. xXx from Angela Spencer their Customer Service Manager, no less when I requested a refund with postage due to an issue with a jumper I purchased so not the customer's fault.
I still have the email.
I haven't bothered buying anything from them since.

Having purchased clothing for the last year I loved the clothing , customer service and loyalty. I luckily purchased before they went into administration suddenly without any warning, the access to the members Facebook page was suspended and a holding page left on their website with little info for the customers.
According to several news articles they have gone into administration. leaving loyal customers with returns they can’t return, gift vouchers purchased that they can’t spend or get a refund on and loyalty points they can’t use with no warning .
This is hugely disappointing especially as they were still taking orders they couldn’t fulfil right up to this outcome which is disgraceful to do this.
It’s really really sad it ended this way

Poor returns process
Poor first experience with this company. I ordered two jumpers. One is lovely and the reason for the 3 stars, the other had a really obvious flaw on the front. I did get a pretty quick email response from customer services who referred me to their returns portal and instructed me to select faulty as the reason for return. However on doing this, the returns portal would not let me proceed unless I agreed to let them deduct £3 for return postage. I emailed them again and they said to go ahead and they would make a note on file to not charge the postage, blaming it on a new returns system. They've had this jumper back since 23rd Feb. I received an email confirming the return had been received with a note to say I would receive a further email within 14 days confirming the refund had been processed. A month on I still haven't received that email. Thankfully I used klarna, so was able to advise them of the return and they adjusted the payment straight away. Sadly, due to this experience, I'll be unlikely to use this company again.

Individuality gone, business gone
Well well. Kit and Kaboodal have gone into administration. That was sudden (for their customers at least). I used to love their individuality but of late their designs had lost their quirkiness and had become nothing more than overpriced 'so what?' styles, without their previous distinction. What a pity.
Amazing quality clothing!
Amazing quality clothing! I was skeptical to begin with as to quality of materials used and how things would fit with a vast size range on items, I didnt need to be. 2 dresses bought and both are beautiful. Material, fit, design, everything is 100% top quality. I would definitely recommend this company!
Not the best quality and unable to contact customer services
Had an email to submit a review for an item recently purchased from this company. The item wasnt the best quality but was very pretty. However, there is no way to contact them to arrange a return even if I wanted to as they have stopped answering calls and emails, and delete social media posts as it is reported that they have gone into administration. Bizarrely they are still sending text messages offering me discounts despite being unable to access their website any more.

* As I made my purchase via PayPal 1 in 3 payments and I was still having to pay for items I returned to KK and didn’t get refunded for I put in a claim via PayPal. It took a little time but PayPal have given me a full refund. I’m relieved & impressed. * The quality of items not great so I made a return. Waited. No refund. Turns out business has collapsed so now I have no items and no refund. No warning or information business was collapsing and they traded up to last minute, really bad.
What is going on?
I placed an order on 1st March and the money has been taken from my account. I’ve received no communication at all from the company and no delivery. They are not answering the phone and the message states that the voicemail box cannot receive messages as it is full. Their website is not operating. They say they are making “exciting changes” and to return later.

AVOID! COMPANY HAS GONE BUST
I purchased a linen dress from them which proved not to be linen at all when it arrived but a cheap and nasty loose weave fabric that was thick and a false black. I've bought linen items from them before without issue but will not be buying any more.
I notified the company by email immediately and sent it back the following day. They have confirmed that it has been received but have not issued a refund three weeks later.
No reply to complaint and formal complaint emails and phone number doesn't go through.
It's disgraceful that this business has continued trading in spite of knowing that they are going into administration and subsequently leaving customers high and dry.
Faulty trousers
I ordered some trousers which arrived with a fault. There is no return slip in the parcel, and their website seems to be down for maintenance - customer services phone number isn't answered, and they don't reply to messages on social media. Very bizarre, and unlikely to buy from them again (assuming the company still exists!)

their customer services staff are lovely however - although you have to phone as they dont answer emails -despite paying a fairly hefty whack for delivery it took forever. the 2 garments I bought are disappointing given the price point. its italian made clothing which tbh I see being sold on market stalls all the time in Europe at a much lower price. There is no hemming on the T shirt like top I bought so the hem, neck line and cuffs have already started to roll because the fabric is very flimsy, which on a long length garment is not a good look. the cut on both garments is not great but i suppose when a garment is to fit such a wide range of sizes is to be expected. the 2 tops i bought are not horrible just the quality i was expecting for the price point is disappointing

I have been buying from Kit and Kaboodal for a few years now, always plenty of choice and great offers.
I can’t comment on returns as I’ve never made any! Always pleased with my choices.
I’ve seen a couple of poor reviews, which I think are unfortunate- I appreciate the website is currently down and the private facebook page is also paused, which suggests a problem (it’s never happened before) They are a small family company who only sell on line so the unavailability of the website will be horrendous for them.
Please bear with them regarding the return issue I’m positive they will provide help as soon as they can.
Other than that the clothes are great!
