Throughout both of our recently completed projects - a new kitchen and a study/library fit-out - Kitchens International (KI) has been first class. The time taken in the detailed design and pre-contract development stages - together with the early involvement of the on-site project manager - with its focus on meeting the customer’s exact requirements and arriving at innovative and practical solutions, ensured the efficient and successful installation and realisation of the projects.

As with any project, elements do not always go to plan, for one reason or another. However, with superb on-site project management throughout, and the quality of the craftsmanship by all involved, practical solutions were rapidly developed and implemented to the highest possible standards. Furthermore, KI’s after-sales and follow-up activities are, in our experience, faultless.

These were the third and fourth projects that KI has undertaken for us, and we have no hesitation in recommending KI to any prospective customer.

Great experience with the Dundas team - from the design and detail from Victoria to the logistic fitting and end service from Gordon, John and Declan. We felt really comfortable with the whole process to make an amazing finish. The aftercare is incredible. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Kitchen’s International are a fantastic company to deal with. Louisa was my designer and was very patient with me in achieving the most out of the space. She was there to guide me with her years of experience. Gordon and his installation team were extremely professional with planning and install. I went for a Leicht kitchen and am delighted with the quality. I've had follow up calls with them just to make sure all is well… which it is. Highly recommend KI. 🤩

Our journey with KI has been nothing but exceptional. We reviewed 5 different suppliers but only KI shone through with the quality of products, expertise in delivery and installation and passion for their designs and service.

It was 7 years ago that we had our old farmhouse kitchen re-designed and the new modern kitchen installed with some amazing ideas from the KI Team - and I am pleased to advise that it looks as great today as it did 7 years ago - we still get a buzz everyday and it is now the most used room in our home!

The quality has stood the test of time with not a single issue with look, function or wear - we may have paid a little more but it was worth 10x that investment.

We approached KI with view to fit a new kitchen as part of an extension. We were initially introduced to Stuart in the Edinburgh branch. Stuart carefully listened to our wish list and came back to us with a design that was more than we hoped for! His attention to detail is outstanding. Gordon & the team who were involved with the installation were equally professional, Gordon was always available for questions/queries and reassurance!
We are more than delighted with our finished kitchen. Having used many companies during our renovations, KI are most definitely one of the best! We are very proud of what was achieved in the heart of our home. Thank you KI

I got the firm to supply and fit Leicht wall cupboards to match existing units. The whole process from initial contact , measuring up etc, sourcing the units from Germany , delivery and fitting all went like clockwork. Professional fitting and excellent service.

Cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Kitchens International. From initial design concepts, detailed design configuration, installation, snagging and after sales service it has been a 5* experience. And best of all we have a truly stunning new kitchen. The experience we had with our team of Stuart and Gordon, and our amazing fitters expert John and Declan (never seen tradespeople so meticulous), as well as the engagement we’ve had with the wider team, has been top notch. We also found the design visualisation tools they use to be really helpful - made a huge difference when comparing proposals from the other companies we talked to. And the end result is very very similar to those initial illustrations - phew! Thanks again to all the team - keep up the good work 👍👍👍

Kitchens International has been the best kitchen company I've ever ordered a kitchen from.

The designer and sales professional, Victoria Black, was personable and helpful.

Installation completely met my expectations. The installer John and his apprentice Declan were impeccable and highly geared toward delighting the customer. There were excellent joiners and well equipped for the job. They carried out their work with care and attention like it would be their own home. I weight the importance of this higher than all others and I want to re-emphasise that John was simply amazing. It's rare to meet such a skilled joiner who is so helpful and personable.

The installation manager, Gordon was simply excellent. The high level logistics of the kitchen install (delivery, supply of parts, planning, etc) were handled efficiently and with careful attention to detail. Any uncontrollable issues (as there always are) were fielded in a friendly, clam and highly satisfactory manner.

Aftercare, also, was an amazing experience for me using Kitchens International! Again, they sent a smart, well equipped, highly skilled joiner named Mark. He was able to address some minor issues (something small overlooked) perfectly, exceeding my expectations and making the kitchen better than ever. Again, Mark also had warm customer service, careful attention to detail and took on his work with interest and care like it was his own home.

I really cannot express how impressed and pleased I am with Kitchens International's employees, service and quality of the kitchen.

If you want a great kitchen, installed properly and supported well, then this the company to use!

Appalling Service and workmanship!
Never have I experienced such a catalogue of incompetence.
A very expensive luxury bathroom refurbishment. Promised timescale 2 weeks from start to finish. What a joke!!!

Our entire house had just been fully decorated and re floored along with new furniture and radiators. So emphasis was on sealing all doors with tape and only using front door for access.

Experienced Project Manager walked out a few weeks before start date. New PM took over just in time to start our project.He walked out a few weeks later so no PM and nobody to co-ordinate the works thereafter.

We returned home after 2 weeks to find all doors had been left wide open throughout, so entire interior of house was covered with grit and dust. Living room had been used for storage of materials which were leaning against walls, leather couch and new radiators. Dining room had been a through way to kitchen where cement or plaster had been mixed - floor and counter tops white with powder.

Shower cubicle panels had been wrongly measured - short in height so 6 inch gaps above. Eventually patched.

Measurements for shower cubicle width had been wrong so once fitted, an inch or so of shower panel stuck out beyond cubicle area. A trim was added to make it look as if it was part of the design.

Wall was built out to try and accommodate the ‘too large to fit’ shower cubicle but it barely left room for door to close - lock scraping on tile.

Shower screen leaked for months on end. Various attempts to re-seal it failed. Finally sealed after 5 months.

Holes for radiator were drilled in wrong place - through tiles. Holes were later invisibly patched.

Toilet lid wouldn’t stay up - 5 replacements.

Tiles around window weren’t sealed.
Tiles on floor weren’t sealed.

Acoustic panels started to flake after a few weeks - turned out not to have been the waterproof quality we’d paid for. Finally touched up and a sealant coating applied by a specialist.

Silicone sealant around shower cubicle was wrong colour. No sealant was put around sink unit.

Sealant was smeared on tiles and shower cubicle floor. Eventually removed.

Display shelf light didn’t work - several weeks before replacement part was fitted.

Door was painted wrong colour.

Hallway was so badly scuffed and marked their painter re-emulsioned it - but we had to repaint woodwork ourselves.

Within weeks shower controls started to leak - replaced a few weeks later.

Project took 5 months and a week to complete. During that time numerous appointments were made but tradesman either turned up several hours late - or not at all. He had 2 emergency gas leaks to attend to in a week apparently- both times when he should have been at our home. So unlucky!!

We are now 10 months on and sealant round shower screen has turned black, toilet seat is rattling and the shower outlet pipe is leaking.

And they’ve had the audacity to send a final invoice!!

A catalogue of incompetency from start to finish.

Avoid this company at all costs!!!

I moved into a new house five years ago and found out that Kitchen International had fitted the kitchen. I decided I’d like more cupboards in the utility room and phoned them. The service was amazing - they had the original plans and could order what I needed with no visit required. The cupboards are now fitted and I’m absolutely delighted. Every member of staff was efficient and pleasant, and Mark fitted the units quickly and the quality of his work is great.

Just had some work done on my 10yr old kitchen. Mark Smith from the Edinburgh office carried out the work to a consistently high standard. The things that make a difference -punctuality, excellent communication, kitchen left sparkling and all done in a courteous manner. Highly recommend and thank you KI.

KI Fort Kinnaird gave us the professional service we were looking for our bespoke kitchen/pantry in our modern new build house. As the build progressed there were several changes which were necessary, but all were overcome with great professionalism by Stuart Ross and Gordon Miller.
There were a couple of issues once we had moved in - a wall mounted shelf collapsed and the appliances took an inordinate amount of time to get used to but on the whole these have all been overcome.
The only issue which is unfortunate is the tie-in with Siemens appliances. There does not seem to be any opportunity to “go it alone”.

From start to finish, the KI team outperformed my expectations. From the planning stage, where they were the only team that were able to solve an electrical conundrum without causing significant upheaval, to the finished article.....superb. As with any large project there were some unplanned challenges but the KI team approached and solved them in a very professional manner. I would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

They instilled confidence and made the vision a reality, with minimal disruption. 14 years after my first KI kitchen and their standards and services are still up there! Can’t recommend them more highly.

Having had a 2 kitchens from KI, I went straight to them for new appliances. Brian was really helpful and talked me through the options and Mark made a great job of fitting! Mark even emptied my old dishwasher! Thank you

Hi bought a kitchen from Kitchen International Edinburgh excellent customer service from Victoria she was so patient and understood our needs.
But thats not all had Mark from the After Care team look after us and make sure everything was perfect. Mark is well experienced and very professional he made sure we were happy with everything and went an extra mile for us coming out.
