Large store with loads of the top brands (domestic and European) in power tools, hand tools, and body tools, often slightly cheaper than the other big box stores in the city. Friendly, helpful staff. I purchased the oxy-acetylene tanks and the exchanges/refills are no-contract and no-hassle. I would like to see more Bosch tools, though.

You can’t beat the amazing sale prices and the entire process from selection to delivery (across 4 provinces in record time!) was awesome.

Absolute top shelf service!! Ben in the “woodworking” section was amazing! All staff were welcoming and helpful with out being overbearing… the selection and variety of tools was almost overwhelming but the staff helped guide my way to what I needed vs what I thought I needed! KMS has just become my GO TO for tools!!

In my past two visits, both team members really went out of their way to help me locate and clarify questions on products I found on your mailouts.

This is the first time I have dealt with KMS Tools and I found the experience to be great. I ordered a lathe and had a problem with the initial unit delivered, but I was very impressed with how the problem was dealt with by KMS. They made sure that what I purchased met my needs completely, and I am now very happy with my purchase.

I only order online from KMS, but they always come through with my orders and on time delivery. Also there prices are spot on every time, especially with items on sale!

I’m in Ontario and in November of 2025, I placed several orders online during Black Friday sales. I requested my items be sent via courier and not Canada Post due to rotating strikes and delays.
Im glad to say my items were received well packaged, whole and in a timely manner by UPS and Fed Ex.

I had my eye on a few items and KMS had the best price on pretty much everything. But, having never purchased from them before, I wasn’t sure what kind of experience I would get. Luckily, I can state I would purchase online from KMS again and actually have done so after my first tool haul. I can’t speak of customer service or the people there as visiting is kind of hard, being on the other side of the country. But, if you buy online and are wondering how they rank, I wouldn’t hesitate to shop at this store.
I found in many cases,

KMS is quite aggressive with their pricing and that is what got me initially. Just a tip, ya gotta create an account to see the best prices on stuff. But, this is becoming a popular method used by online retailers now and is spreading. Anyways, doing so is worth it here as the savings can be substantial.

web sales are slow sometimes a week to ship. if possible order from amazon if times an issue.

They had the tool that I wanted at a good price and got it to me promptly, even with a postal strike going on.

Display failed within 1st week of use.
Took generator to Brothers Two for repair on Aug 6/25.
Nov 4/25 and generator is still not repaired.
I don't recommend this generator to anyone.

You have made me a new customer with KMS tools. I like the selection you guys have. It’s always tricky finding certain size driver bits, and you guys had them. South Edmonton store has some great staff. One guy spent half an hour going through the advantages and features of different tool cabinets with me. Detailed how each one was built differently (because he actually assembles the floor displays too) He really knew what he was talking about and showed me which one was a better deal for my dollar.

Me and my friends were walking around the store and I was being followed around by a worker named Adrian. I went and picked up one of the block sanders and he had made an unwarranted comment about not touching tool unless I planned on buying them. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience.

Was a great deal on Bosch 18V batteries that got me click'n the buy button and came to Ottawa in just bout a week... Many thanks boys n girls for good system.

Recently, I bought a Milwaukee M12 Heated TOUGHSHELL Jacket. Warning. Jacket does NOT come with a battery. ??? 2. On High heat setting, the batteries last LESS than 2 hours. LESS than advertised. 3. Milwaukee's MAP pricing is a JERK move!!! JTS

I have always had excellent service. Only concern is that I bought a Dewalt 12 in. Chain saw that was on sale. After several months in the box, I took it out and used it for about an hour when it quit. It has been returned to Dewalt for fixing but that is taking for ever. I need it now. Not KMS's fault.

Easy shopping and check out but took some time to ship but no biggie.
