I recently had the pleasure of visiting KMS Tools and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. From the moment I walked in, every single staff member I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. It’s rare to encounter such a consistently positive and welcoming atmosphere, which is complemented by their truly competitive pricing.

The team went above and beyond to assist me. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what they do. This level of service made my visit an absolute pleasure and turned what could have been a simple shopping trip into a truly memorable experience.

Where to start?
Bought a lager sander on line , they needed to ship this item I had to email and fight with them to get the tracking info, after over 10 days I got that information from them.
Another 10 days go and the sander is laying on it side on a pallet, not strapped to the pallet but wrapped in a garbage bag. The Arbour shaft was bent and unusable.
Less care could not have been taken by this shipping department.
Buy from ANYONE else.

I came in looking for a tool and the staff was really helpful and showed me the tool I was looking for was on sale and there was a deal when buying.

The store is always kept in an orderly fashion. Someone is close by to give directions or information on products.
There is good value to be had on regular and sale items.

I'm a frequent customer; KMS has good pricing, good inventory, and helpful staff. I particularly appreciate the service and knowledge of Jeff Fransen, the store manager.

Went to buy a Milwaukee sander which I looked up online first and it said they had 12. A fellow helped me and said they didn't have any, which was fine as Home Depot had them on for the same price. I then enquired about a Milwaukee tool bag they had in their flyer and wanted 2 of them. The guy in tools directed me to the back of the store and said someone else would help. Here I was met with most unhappiest woman I have ever met in my life. She did not want to help at all. She kept sighing and rolling her eyes and pointed to a bin of Milwaukee tool bags. I looked through them and did not find the 15 inch one they had in the flyer. I finally convinced her to look it up and she said the SKU number in the flyer is for a 17 inch bag, not a 15 inch which I wanted. I suggest she should get into another line of work because she definately isn't suited for this job. What a total waste of time.

Living in New Brunswick, I found a great sale on an item that was available for in-store purchase only, and in only one location left in British Columbia. The online sales team made it easy for me to buy that item. Diligent, excellent communication, fast shipping, great service all around.
The tools selection and prices are competitive, so I will keep an eye on this web store.

Went in to get a sharpening system and bench grinder. Grinder wasn't in stock, so it was quickly found in another store and shipped in. Right from the start every person I dealt with was friendly and very helpful, from the woodworking dept to the front tills. Always a pleasure to shop there!

Amazing selection of all the major brands and some I’ve never heard of! Staff seem preoccupied though. I was there for 45 minutes before someone approached me asking if I needed help.

Cashiers are always great, inventory is hit and miss as alot of times go for a sale item and hooks/shelf are empty. Store is a bit messy

A thank you to Sharron for helping me find the perfect solution for applying a little bit of oil to difficult places to reach on my sewing machine. She headed off to the woodworking area and located a long pipet with a very tiny dispensing tip! It does a fabulous job! FANTASTIC customer service.

I decided to try out KMS for some truck
Bumpers they had on sale. The parts are CounterParts which are a cheaper but OK brand and to be honest the price was fair. I had spoken to staff and they explained if the parts were in stock in another location it would be as simple as transferring the parts from one store to another, should be here in a week…. This was April 14.

Two weeks later I called, they said check back next week. So I did, they said check back next week again…. So I did sigh…

I then got a phone call second week in May saying they wanted to upgrade my bumper, the CohnterPart bumper had poor chrome adhesion, I would need to swallow the added cost due to the subpar quality of the bumper they sold me….. ok, when can I have my bumpers? Next week. Ok.

May would leave like it came in, bumper less. I called and decided it was time to speak with Management, Dominick assured me he was the assistant manager and now he would personally take care of this! Blamed his staff, couldn’t explain why they would back order this stuff instead of transfer it but fret not, Dominick would take care of this. Great, this is what I needed. Should be here next week.

Called next week, wasn’t transferred, wasn’t even ordered…. Mid June now and still not even requested for transfer, just to be clear it’s all in stock…… just nobody made the call to transfer it. Dom blamed his staff again and assured me it would be on by next week.

I called the following week, not in. I’m losing patience. He promised to have it delivered to my house on the following Wednesday. Direct shipped to my home, ok. So I waited all day at home Wednesday, rearranged my schedule so I would be there. No bumpers…. No call, no text, no email…. Starting to feel like nobody cares.

I call the next day, Dominick says he’ll have to check some pallets that came in. What? You said you were having them direct shipped! That was a lie. Never happened. It’s just a ploy to buy time. Said he would check the pallets and call
Me back in 20 minutes. 3 hours later I called him. He was tooo busy to check but would call me back in an hour after he went through the last two pallets. He never called.

The following day I called him, he still had to check two more pallets….. it’s insane. 4 hours later he returned my called, success. Parts are in!!

April 14-July 4 to transfer a couple parts, I requested a meeting with him and his manager. He assured me he would set up that meeting and call me with a day and time (this was after offering me a
Discount for wasting my time, what a joke) it’s the next day…. You guessed it. No call.

To be clear the parts are fine. The price was fine. The customer service….. the worst. Absolute trash. Need a hammer or a battery for your Milwaukee drill? KMS is a great choice, if you need someone who is in your corner when stuff goes sideways, look somewhere else.

These guys are not a good choice.

Great service, unfortunately the shipping has let me down as I have not received my package yet.

Recently had a 5* experience with the staff at KMS Tools & Equipment in Coquitlam (we're from AB). From the moment we walked in the staff greeted us warmly, offered to assist, and were eager to help. Having just come from a competing big box store moments earlier where we did not have the same experience, KMS's top notch customer service and friendliness by every staff member we interacted with was very noticeable and much appreciated! I've never written a public review before, but felt compelled to share our experience. We highly recommend your store. Well done.

Heather is awesome, she took the time to find and order a small, inexpensive item for me. I don't think many places would have taken the time for such a request. Also, she, as well as Dom, Corey, Andrew and the cashiers got me fixed up with some great deals on Milwaukee day; coming back Tuesday to finish up! The charitable fund raiser for the animals is a great cause and the sausages are the best!

Very helpful staff. I made some errors in my order & Ayran was there to make things right. 5 star service
