This is the fifth piece of furniture that i've ordered from Konk. This bookcase is another great addition to my collection. Overall the quality is excellent and met my expectations.
I have deducted a star as on delivery I noticed a couple of minor issues. A rough edge on the bottom shelf that had been filled and not sanded down properly and one of the rubber feet had buckled under the leg.
Fortunately the delivery driver was able to address both of these points.
Small details that could have been addressed by a quick quality control check prior to leaving the workshop.

Absolutely beautiful table made to our own specific measurements. Great customer service, super quick delivery. Would definitely buy from Konk again!

I have ordered several items from Konk including 6 x of the Koku shelf in various sizes and the A Frame Table and bench. Their stuff is very beautiful, and the communication in the run up to delivery was good. However, the Koku shelf is not fit for purpose and their customer service since ordering has been frustrating.
We fixed the shelves to a solid brick wall. The fixing they provide that the shelf hangs on to is so small that the shelf hangs forward and can take barely any weight at all. With just a handful of books the shelves came off their fixings and damaged my wall.
When I wrote to Konk to return the shelves I have been told they will charge me £185 to return the shelves, despite the fact that we are coordinating collection of the items in line with the delivery of the table and chairs. They also denied that the issue was with the fixings claiming it must be an issue with the wall we're fixing it to (a solid brick wall), or implied it was the way we had installed them.
Since I couldn't find any other complaints online, I thought this must be the case, even though a joiner has confirmed the wall is fine for fixing shelves.
When their delivery partner came to deliver the table / pick up the shelves, my partner flagged the issue with the shelf fixings to him and he informed us that they only recently changed the fixings, and that they used to use solid bars that would fix into the wall rather than small, thin circular bolts as hooks. He agreed that these were impractical fixings.
This explains the lack of other complaints, and demonstrates the blame-shifting customer service that I have read in other 1 star reviews on the company. I'm astonished they're charging me £185 to return an item that has a pretty fundamental design flaw, and encourage others looking to purchase the Koku shelf to proceed with caution (particularly if you're hoping it will hold more than a single lightweight vase).

For aesthetics I'd give the company 5 stars - their stuff is beautiful.

I got a custom size desk from Konk a couple of years back and I just absolutely love it. The designs are stunning, the materials are beautiful and it is well made. A lot of the furniture on the hughstreet is just so boring and underwhelming these days, so it is lovely to find a company that takes such pride in design and quality.

I'm thrilled to bits with my new piece of furniture but even more so with the delivery. The company that was used Zoof were polite, efficient and took no time at all to put together my furniture with the least amount of fuss or disruption. Will be ordering again

Love my walnut rectory table - the process was so seamless from enquiry through to purchase and delivery. The delivery team were so efficient and lovely. So happy with the table and can't recommend the company enough!

Fabulous furniture from a brilliant company. Just about to come back for the third order as we gradually replace furniture room by room with Konk! pieces.

I had such a great experience with Konk furniture. The team were so patient with me, and were so helpful with suggesting some (major) tweaks to an existing desk design so that it could accommodate my chair. My desk looks so lovely and is so well made. Delivery as well was very painless, and if I need more wooden furniture I will absolutely come back to Konk. I HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful furniture which is reasonably priced for the quality and craftsmanship you get. Good communication all the way along. I bought a piece a few years ago and based on that have just bought 2 more pieces. I’ve had those pieces customised to my requirements and have been really pleased with the service received and the final products.

Great service super clear communication throughout

I had been trawling the net looking for somebody to build a unit to house my vinyl and dj equipment. I stumbled across Konk and sent an e mail enquiry. Jasmine replied promptly and took hold of the project from start to finish. There must have been in excess of 80 e mails and numerous calls to get the design spot on. I was very nervous about receiving the finished product as I only had technical drawings to refer . To say I am absolutely over the moon with the final piece would be an under statement. I am so impressed with the craftsmanship and professionalism of this company. Thankyou for making this wonderful piece of timeless furniture .
