The Kooshy Kids SkyBunk is by far the BEST travel hack if you have kids. For the first time, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our own hot meals while the kids slept or played in their own seats. Since having kids we have never looked forward to plane trips but this last trip we were actually excited to fly again knowing we could have our hands free for the first time. I cannot explain how amazing these products are. Only tip is make sure your airline is on the approved list that allows skybunks, I honestly wouldn't book an airline that doesn't allow these. Don't waste your money!! They sent me a faulty product that does not include a plug that helps the kooshy cloud inflate quickly. I informed them of the product I received and they are asking me to pay over $30 to receive this little piece. Absolutely shocking!! Avoid there are way better products out there!

Disappointed with Kooshy Kids — Misleading Information and Poor Cancellation Policy
I recently placed an order on Kooshy Kids' official website, and shockingly, while browsing their own FAQ and policies section shortly after, I discovered that their products are not approved for use on Emirates flights. This wasn’t made clear during the product listing or checkout process.
I immediately reached out to cancel the order — within less than 30 minutes — but their cancellation policy and customer service experience were very disappointing. It feels like they purposely bury this important information deep in their site, hoping people won’t notice until it’s too late.
I’d advise anyone considering purchasing from them to be extremely careful and double-check airline policies first. Kooshy Kids should be far more transparent about airline restrictions, especially when so many parents rely on these products for their kids during long flights.
Not a company I’d trust again.

From the moment of purchase to our final interaction, Kooshy Kids has delivered one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever encountered.
Let’s start with the fine print: to qualify for a warranty, you're required to test the product within 48 hours of receipt. An odd clause in itself — and a red flag that they expect failures — though they do allow you to request an extension. Which I did.
We inflated the Sky Bunk three times. Each time, it slowly deflated. I contacted the company and was asked to send video proof — which I had already sent. Still, I obliged and sent another round. They told me the issue had been referred to their "fulfilment team." I had to follow up repeatedly to get any response.
Eventually, I was contacted by two different representatives. One offered an apology and vague assurance that a replacement and return label would be arranged. But after explaining we were moving overseas in four days and wouldn’t be able to use a store credit issued post-return, the tone changed dramatically.
Despite a heartfelt explanation of our situation — financial pressure, an international move, and our hope that this product would ease our travel stress — the final response was robotic and dismissive: store credit only, valid for one year, with no regard for the fact that the item was faulty and unusable from day one.
Let me be absolutely clear: this is not a change of mind. The product did not function. It failed its only job. Under Australian consumer law, a product that is not fit for purpose should be eligible for a refund. This case will be referred to Consumer Affairs.
Do not be fooled by glossy logos or glowing reviews on their site — I wish I had dug deeper. I had high hopes, but this experience has been deeply disappointing, financially wasteful, and entirely avoidable.

SELF-INFLATING Kooshy Kids Sky Bunk
DOES NOT WORK FOR BULKHEAD ROW
These do not work for bulkhead/extra legroom seats, I spent the entire 11 hour overnight flight stressed. You need a seat in front to secure the bed or it just slides/moves and can flip if they lean too far toward the feet. I had to constantly watch my son sleep and hold onto the seat. Do not recommend.
The company are also very unorganised failing to refund me or locate a parcel that they received 8 weeks ago.
Edit - following response
10 weeks on and still no refund and continuous excuses from the robotic email responses. I’ve lodged complaint with consumer protections now.
If you value feedback then let your customers read all the 1 star reviews and don’t delete them to mislead them to believe your products are good. Also if testing has been done then I wouldn’t trust the reliability of any of your products as i followed all instructions and my son still slid and flipped off the seat.

I'm sorry to give a one star, I tried to contact the company before I placed an order but noone answered my e-mails. Because I had only one week to place an order to get it before the flight on the weekend I had to just trust that it would have been enough, paying also the priority fee and even adding a tip!
I have ordered from the website from America and seeing an american address at the bottom I was confident that the packaging was going to be shipped from USA instead of Australia! This was very missleading as on the USA website didn't specify, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it in the first place.
Still up to this day, no one has answered my e-mails.
I have wasted all this money for nothing, I'm going to pay even more as I can't seem to return it and get a refund. I had to ask the hotel reception to kindly ship the item to my country because by the time it arrives I will be already gone and not able to use it at all.

Do not purchase this product unless you’re ok with throwing your money away. I ordered the product in the hopes of using it for an upcoming trip. After purchasing it, I emailed the company to see if the product would come in on time. They said I could pay extra money to be moved up on the processing list and expedited shipping but there’s still no guarantee. I asked to cancel the order because that’s a lot of money to lose without any guarantees. They refused to cancel the order even though it’s only been a couple of hours. This is very bad business practice.

A MUST HAVE TRAVEL ACCESSORY!!
I don’t really get the bad reviews they’ve received because their customer service is awesome and shipping was great. They’re also very personal in their responses and would be happy to address anyone’s concern.
It’s important to know I’m not someone who normally leaves reviews for things but I really had to for this.
We purchased this for our trip to the Philippines and it was an absolute life saver! We had jet kids to begin with and found out after that Philippine Airlines didn’t approve so I had to take it down whilst my son was sleeping during an overnight flight which was the worst!! Not only did my son sleep for 2 hours on the way there but slept for most of the time overnight flight on the way back.
We plan to travel to the Philippines at least once a year and my daughter just turned 2 so we have bought one for her as well. Our first purchase was in 2024. This is seriously the best thing ever and the fact that it self inflates is just amazing. Having peace of mind before purchasing that the airline we were using (pretty much every airline allows this brand) was so comforting. It also has a lifetime warranty!! Best travel accessory purchase ever and I can recommend this enough! Thanks so much for this epic product! ❤️❤️

My order arrived extremely late. My daughter won’t even be able to use it for the next trip because she will be too big by then. They won’t let me return it, which is beyond frustrating. They keep saying the delay is due to the Canada Post strike, but I received all my other packages from different companies that shipped with Canada Post on time, so that’s not a valid excuse. What a waste of my money.

Really happy with the Self-Inflating Kooshy Sky Bed. I ordered it on Nov 12th, it shipped the next day and arrived in Europe on Nov 28th, which was within the given time frame. So far, we've used it on 2 ten-hour night flights with my 2.5 year old. He liked it so much we ended up keeping it inflated, even when he was awake and playing. We've tried the Stokke Jetbed in the past, but this is way better. Set up is really as easy as they say and it stays in position on it's own but the seatbelt pass-through design gives it extra security. (Our main 2 complaints about the Stokke one.) I also, really appreciated that there was still space under the seat to store things. Also, it's easy to clean in transit which unfortunately became was really important. Our child threw up on one of the flights and luckily we could just wipe it clean with wipes. I was a bit hesitant to buy because of the cost, but it was well worth it. I can see using it for several more years.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Kooshy Kids, and I feel completely let down by their lack of accountability and misleading policies.
I placed my order on December 2nd, expecting it to arrive in time for my flight. Nowhere on their website does it clearly state that business days are counted from the shipment date rather than the order date. Even if I consider their timeline from December 4th, my order was still not delivered before my departure—it arrived the day AFTER my flight, making it completely useless for its intended purpose.
I went through the hassle of contacting NZ Post and AU Post over TEN times, trying to get my parcel prioritised, but neither was willing to expedite it. The result? A product I specifically ordered for my travel arriving too late, rendering it pointless.
When I reached out to Kooshy Kids for a return, their response was dismissive and frankly unacceptable:
“I’m sorry to hear that your order didn’t arrive in time for your travels. Your order was dispatched within our advertised timeframe and therefore the delay was due to Australia Post which we have no control over. Perhaps you could contact them and ask them for compensation.
We advise that customers email us prior to ordering should they have upcoming travel. This way, we can confirm if they will likely receive it in time because we don’t accept returns or offer refunds for late postage.”
This is utterly ridiculous. Why should the responsibility be on the customer to preemptively email them when their own shipping policies are vague at best? They fail to provide clear timelines upfront and then wash their hands of any responsibility when their shipping partner fails to deliver on time. Now, they’re telling me to chase Australia Post for a refund—an absolutely illogical response since I didn’t purchase the product from AU Post, I purchased it from Kooshy Kids!
Their refusal to acknowledge the issue and lack of any effort to make things right shows a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I will NEVER order from this company again, and I highly advise others to think twice before doing so. If you need something time-sensitive, expect zero support from them if things go wrong. Truly disappointing service and policies!
