Unorganised and misinformative

I contacted the customer support about a certain issue, regarding a coupon I had, in order to use it to purchase a product.
They sent me to a specific store near my area. I went to the store, and they told me they cannot deal with it, that I have to go to another store further away.
Then I went to the other store (30min away from my place) and they told me that the specific employee that deals with these kind of vouchers, is not working today and I have to come back tomorrow.
Of course I left, and went to Public.

FALSE ADVERTISING- NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

If you value your time and your hard-earned cash, stay away from Kotsovolos. Here's my story: There is a government program in Greece which subsidizes part of the cost to replace old appliances with new, energy efficient ones. A term of the program is that they must take your old appliance to be recycled at the time of delivery.

I placed a phone order with them for a fridge and asked if they needed the serial number of the old one for the "recycling slip" required. They said no, they would take care of it. They gave me an appointment to deliver on 16/09, between 15.00-17.00. They stood me up.

I called and had to spend HOURS on the phone. When I managed to talk to someone, they said the goods hadn't been delivered because no "recycling slip" had been issued. So, customer service put me through to a salesperson to take care of it.

They gave me a new appointment for 19/9, between 15.00 and 17.00. They stood me up AGAIN! The reason why was........ you guessed it: no "recycling slip".

Instead of a new date, I have now received a cryptic Viber message telling me that "my application had been successfully received". God only knows what they believe I applied for.

P.S. The false advertising in the title pertains to their ads regarding same day delivery. Fat chance!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. One of the worse companies to shop from in Greece. The only thing they have going for them is allowing payments in instalments, but that comes at the expense of having literally no-one to talk to for whatever issue you might have, having to deal with stupid chat bots that have the intelligence of a door knob, stupid online phone-assist bots. Every time I make a purchase from them I end up deeply regretting it. I am currently waiting on an item that was ordered a month ago...

We brought a fridge freezer from corfu kerkyra shop on the 29th of July 2022 it was delivered approximately a week later and told not to plug in for 6 hours so we left it over night so 14 hours, it did not work so we went to the shop to complain and they said they would send a engineer to check it, 2 weeks later and several visits to the shop and on line complaints a engineer arrived at 8pm and said the motor was burned, 3 days later and visits to shop and more on line chats they agreed to replace it but only deliver on Fridays so waited home taking time off work but no delivery, so after more on line chats they say it will be Tuesday but a week and a half ago they only delivered on Fridays, now we have been without a refrigerator for 5 weeks, not good service

Worst buying experience ever

Kotsovolos is the worst shop you will find in Greece.
Their whole website is a lie. They say order and have your product delivered in the same day, well, good luck if it only takes a week. Customer service over phone makes you cry. They NEVER answer. Just never shop online.

However, if they deserve 1 star is because if you shop on a store, employees are always kind and helpful, ready to assist you in whatever products you may need.

Kotsovolos is the definition of…

Kotsovolos is the definition of unreliability of services and communication, while choses to collaborate with the worst contractors, especially referring to Aigio branch. Purchased an AC of 1000 Euros 2 weeks ago which included installation service. Appointment arrived 2 days after reception of the product but was cancelled the following day without notice. No communication about that so I had to spent the entire day at home waiting for them for no reason. Two weeks after the purchase and still no clue when their collaborator will come. I am calling and the only info I receive is "we will call you soon". Not to mention that any service provided by them (such as extended guarantees) is a complete waste of money. I did the mistake to fall for this at a previous purchase (2+ years ago) and still waiting for their technician to come and do "maintenance" to my other AC device, which was a prerequisite for the extended guarantee. A complete scam. Just worthless services. Buy from another store, anyways their prices are high. Its just ridiculous business which would only survive in Greece.

The staff is always polite and helpful. However, it is obvious there are serious management issues. The whole service experience is awful to say the least because there are Not enough people to help you in any department. Calling for any issue is a return nightmare!!!!!

The worst shopping experience ever. I ordered 7 appliances. They delay the delivery date 15 days and they brought only the 6. The one of them was broken and a second one different model. They delivered the last appliance after 35 days without any warning. They never answer the phone or chat message . The worst online shopping experience…

The worst online shopping experience I've ever had in my life. I've ordered and paid by card to be delivered the same day (4.99 euros). After 2h30mn my order was still on the registered status and when I was clicking to follow it, they said that they couldn't find it!!! The same when clicking on the automated email received after the payment: they couldn't find it even with the order number and my mobile number! Of course, the money has been automatically taken from my bank account. So I've decided to chat with the customer service, but there is no English option, so I had to use Google translate to talk with one of their representative after approximately 30 minutes waiting time!!!
The customer support was totally useless, using fake excuses (a system issue!) to tell me that my order will finally not be delivered today but in the next coming days by normal post (God knows when!!!). The girl, Ioulia was her name, didn't apology nor proposed any gesture of good will, strictly nothing! Only when I mentioned that I'd like a full refund, she offered to cancel the order but the money will be back to my account in 10 days!!! I've chatted with her for 1 h and nothing has been done since, she finally closed the chat without asking my authorization! Shame on her, totally unprofessional and useless. Tonight, the order still has the same status, so I don't know if it will be delivered or has it been canceled? I've finally received 2 sms, to inform me of the cancelation but nothing changed on Kotsovolos website, the status is still the same. Will I be fully refunded? When? They could have at least given me a discount voucher for the inconvenience encountered but no, nothing!!! It is a shame for such a big company which belongs to Dixons Currys UK. They deliberately play with our money by falsely advertising same day delivery when they know that they can't do it! It is not the first time I have problems with them so I will never order nor buy anything at Kotsovolos again. There is so many better competitors in Greece (Mediamarkt, Public, Eshop, You, Plaisio, Germanos and so on). To sum up, avoid Kotsovolos...

Cyprus shop :Worst online shopping ever. Worst costumer service ever. Price manipulation, telephone center bouncing one office to another. Like 1,5hours just to trace my order. 2 days had passed and no invoice, no proof of purchase, they just took my money. Their ITs need to redesign the whole site. Had to cancel my purchase. Unreliable e-shop and horrible customer service

I tried to place an order online for two Samsung Smart Tags. I received an error message on the website informing me that there was an issue and the order was not completed. However, I received a notice from my bank that Kotsovolos had charged my credit card. I also received an order confirmation email which made no sense. When I called Kotsovolos Customer Service, they told me I had to wait a few hours for their order system to update. I waited until the next day and kept checking the order status so I could cancel it as I was instructed. Two days later, the order was still nowhere to be found. Kotsovolos Customer Service told me 4 days later that the order was stuck as the product was not available. Even though there was no product, they had charged my credit card for the full amount. They told me that there was a problem with the order transaction and they had to unblock it to process a refund. They informed me that I have to wait 14 days to get a refund for an order that was never processed for items that were not available! No apology either!! This is totally unacceptable. I won't be doing business with this e-shop in the future.

I bought a brand new laptop worth 800€ , the laptop after 5 times of use could not turn on properly , i took it to them , they had no idea how to fix it , then they shipped it to greece where the laptops brand headquarters are , its been 2 months and now they say the laptop needs a new battery , how can a brand new laptop need a brand new battery, its been 3 months and still i have not received my laptop yet. This is the worst experience i have had with a tech shop, somebody needs to answer for this.

KOTSOVOLOS cy has a great customer service!! I bought a 599€ fridge from ELECTROLINE to be delivered at my flat on 3rd floor but they refused to help taking it upstrairs so they left it at the ground floor and i had to take it upstairs with my friend! They didn't take the old fridge for recycle as they wanted extra 23€ for that, so i asked KOTSOVOLOS and they took the old one for FREE!

Many times I have bought from them as they have limit in stock many times.They did not inform me for a Laser Printer .When I ordered another model it arrived in 2 days and at very low price comparing to other stores.
Always look for low prices for them.
