1st new home

This is our 1st "new build" home.
Larkfleet and the site workers and office were great all through the process. Easy to talk to. No chain. Choices and costs made clear. Lovely welcome and continued support. Very happy with our new home and the whole process.

Extremely helpful Staff

Mallory has been extremely helpful to date. She has been on the end of the phone at any hour And has been proactive in sourcing quotes and arranging meetings etc.
She has an extensive knowledge of the estates she is involved with, along with others she is covering during these difficult times.

Myself and my partner reserved a plot…

Myself and my partner reserved a plot during the lockdown and despite the difficulties, every question or query we had was answered quickly and politely. Being first time buyers, there were many things we were unsure of but Mallory pointed us in the right direction all the way through, with excellent customer service. We’re very excited to carry on with our process with the Allison/Larkfleet team.

Superb Service

We recently reserved a property in Corby Oakley Rise and the service to date has been nothing short of amazing. First of all Mallory helped with looking at making the legal fees more affordable, getting us a fantastic financial advisor and even helping our deposit a little bit so we could meet the Help To Buy Criteria. Since she has moved back we have dealt with Bradley at the Corby office who has been equally as great answering any and every query we may have as well as making the process extremely smooth and hassle free

Boston Gate

We’ve have reserved our property at Boston Gate. And so far we are beyond happy with the service we have received. They’ve gone out of their way to assist us and are so friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and they seem as excited about our journey as we are! We can’t wait to move into our first family home in a month or two. Thank you!!!!

Highly recommend

We have recently reserved a property for the development at Deeping Meadow. Every query I ask is answered and I've always had the best customer service back, all the sales advisors are there at the end of the phone or emailing back in quick time. I've had the best experience with Larkfleet and would highly recommend. Will (Regional Sales Manager) and Mallory (Sales Advisor located in Pinchbeck) have been amazing with helping both myself and my partner with everything that we ask for.

Bought our house on Whittlesey Green…

Bought our house on Whittlesey Green back in August ‘19. The experience we have had with Larkfleet sales team and Customercare has been reasonable, nothing really special. (New sales lady in now and I’ve heard she’s 1000x better than the people that sold us our house) The reason for my 5* rating is purely based on the service and care given to us by Alex and Gage, (Site Manager and deputy) They truly have made our entire experience with Larkfleet much more easy and enjoyable. Without a shadow of doubt i commend their actions and work ethic. They are truly an asset to the company as they go well above the call of duty and what is expected from them. Thank you.

Worse Builders Ever!

Larkfleet homes is one of the worst builders I have ever seen. It is run by and owned by Karl and Helen Hick, who values nothing but sales and money. They are not a scratch on other Lincolnshire builders such as Ashwood Or Chestnut Homes. They lay claim to many ideas when in fact, their ideas are years old and have been tried elsewhere. They are certainly nothing new, the director gets so involved in other people’s business and always pushes for starter homes due to the fact it keeps him and his wife in business and they are put up and shut up properties.

The Allison homes now is not a scratch on the Allison homes of yesteryear when it was a true Lincolnshire builder. The customer service is non existent, we don’t believe Karl Hick ever gets to see customer complaints and they are dealt with by his minions.

Avoid this builder at all costs, go with Chestnut or Ashwood Homes.

larkfleet - shoudn’t be allowed to build newhomes

I reserved my house in March 2019, completion date given was september 2019. The sales person went through the documentation regarding our property, we paid the reservation fee and then it started to unravel

I was sent a letter from Larkfleet detailing the house build process and the different stages of build including a completion date update at each stage of the build.

Larkfleet never wrote to me again, the letter was complete lies. The house was delayed, but i was only told after repeatedly calling / emailing asking why they hadn’t started building my house. At this stage they had my deposit and i was unable to walk away.

I’ve also since been informed that the plot materials document and brochures were also not accurate

Larkfleet had given me a new completion date of 31/10. At the beginning of september we were guaranteed it would be ready 31/10. At the beginning of October we were told it would definitely be ready, we visited the property beginning of October and were assured it was just final decoration required.

With less than a week before completion Larkfleet delayed the purchase. At this point we’d terminated the lease on our rental and had nowhere to live.

We finally completed on Nov 6th, the house was not ready. In fact the house looked exactly like it did in the October visit.
Larkfleet did not mention that there was no road leading to the house. It was not even possible to park the removal van on my property. The quality of the Larkfleet build is shameful, some of the contractors in the house even openly joked in front of us as to how bad Larkfleet are. The heating didn’t work, solar panels didn’t work, front door visibly out of alignment, in total 9 doors needed replacing. Missing sockets / lights / co2 detector. Balustrade fell apart, loft hatch not secured the list goes on and on and on. I’ve no idea how this house ever passed cml. We’ve got very strong drafts coming through external doors. An independent snagger picked up over 240 issues.

Larkfleet took over 3 months to fix the heating in the middle of winter. We’ve had trades in the house most weeks for the last 4 months and to be honest some are good but most are rubbish. Larkfleets only concern is money, when a job is done badly nobody checks it. I am now 4 months in and still don’t even have a date for the front door replacement, which Larkfleet knew needed replacing before i even moved in.

If your thinking of buying a Larkfleet house please don’t. Its the most stressful thing i’ve ever done in my life. Ethically i can’t call them thieves but companies like this shouldn’t be allowed to operate. My story is a long one and it’s not possible to put it all in a review. Just please don’t even think about using this company

I bought a property on the Whittlesey Green development & from start to finish the whole process has been easy. After moving Alex & Gage have gone above and beyond when it comes to working on the smallest snagging points, they’re always in contact and happy to help.

Our experience with larkfleet homes has…

Our experience with larkfleet homes has been amazing from start to finish. We purchased our first home on larkfleets whittlesey green 9 months ago. The sales team were brilliant and never complained with all the phone calls or the unexpected visits we made. On receiving our keys we had a list of snags to be seen to, as with all new builds. (I'm a perfectionist and many of my snags were petty and unnecessary) but Alex and Gage were amazing. They fixed everything on my list whether big or small, it didnt seem to be a problem for them. They went way beyond their job description to help us, and for that we are extremely grateful. Even now if I have a problem with anything they are always willing to help us out. Overall I would highly recommend larkfleet. Our first time buying a home was extremely easy and smooth and that's all down to their team

Larkfleet Homes - shocking

Larkfleet Homes are the worst house building company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I have recently moved into a house on the Collingham Brook development. They have absolutely no interest in carrying out remedial work to the property once you have moved in and they have your money. This is mostly due to the fact that they have absolutely no control over their sub-contractors who have zero interest in rectifying their sub-standard work. Their customer service is non-existent. They are not interested in resolving your problems, they just want you to give up and go away - shocking.

My partner left a review back in Nov following the extremely poor service and aftercare we had received from Larkfleet. Too many broken promises to list. Ultimately, since our 1star review on Trust Pilot we were contacted by one of the Directors Samantha Hart to assist with our issues and help us restore our faith in Larkfleet. She was extremely helpful, kind and considerate. We were verbally promised a full refund for the damaged tiles which had been caused by settling. Her promise was never confirmed via email despite giving her word she would do it the following day. Instead she just ignored our emails and phone calls and has done for several weeks, despite us confirming she is actually at work!! If this is a director of the company it certainly sets the standard we have seen in the after care team. DO NOT BUY FROM LARKFLEET THE AFTER CARE IS PROMISED BUT CERTAINLY NOT DELIVERED.

Larkfleet whittlesey

Larkfleet whittlesey.
We were very sceptical about buying a new build for our first home, with the horror stories your here. With having two friends and my sister living on the site, with beautiful home, we decided to go for larkfleet. All three were positive about there home and we visited many times (especially with a tape measure) we brought our home in august. I would recommend anyone to live here. The larkfleet team are so nice and helpful. Vonya and team in the office are so kind, helpful and trustworthy. Everyone has been exceptional especially Gage. He has been on call ever since moving in, fixing snags before I can even think what to have for dinner. Even going the extra mile to answer any stupid questions like 'how to do you change the battery of the fire alarm' Thank you for our wonderful home.

We purchased our house in April 2018

We purchased our house in April 2018. Still chasing up the 6-12 month snagging form (which we had to send 3 times as they lost every copy...)

A metre long crack in our hall tiles and Larkfleet still haven’t sorted it. Appointment arranged for contractor, tiler and Larkfleet representative to come to our house. Contractors waited over 1 hour and Larkfleet didn’t bother attending. No apologies or explanations. Still not getting anywhere. Every time you complain you are fobbed off by someone and never actually get anywhere. Looking into a solicitor to action result now. UPDATE- Samantha Hart from sales got involved by trying to rectify the situation following this review. She communicated fantastically. Just as we thought the situation was resolving she just stopped replying to our phone calls and emails with no explanation... No respect for you not only as a customer but as a person. Avoid purchasing from them. Great when trying to get you to purchase the house but the worst customer service I’ve ever know since they got their money they just don’t care.

Awful.

Awful customer service, such a shame to undo such amazing houses to make them not worth going for, if only another developer was building the houses and I would be the first to recommend. I have bought my first house at 22, was pushed and pushed and pushed into completing early so they could get my money. Then was told the snagging list would usually take 2 weeks. 3 months on and they've completed 2 of 37 things on the list both of which were less than 5 minute jobs to complete. Squeaking floorboards in the master bedroom, spoke to the site office numerous times about it, had one person come round to look at it and then nothing was done. I spent to 2 months sleeping on a mattress on the floor so they could have easy access to do it. Every morning I put the mattress against the wall so they could come in during the day (no one came) and then put the mattress down in the evening. Rang the customer complaints team in larkfleet and was told they'd look into it and call me back. Chased up a couple of hours later after hearing nothing and then asked them to email me instead as the person before was in a meeting and then on the phone but didn't actually let me discuss any of the issues. They must still be looking into it 3 weeks on... In hindsight the bent front door key presented to me to unlock the front door on my first walk in as a homeowner was probably a good indication. Hopefully just 1 person in this company cares enough about the people that have to put up with these problems to try and get something sorted, whoever it is I will help them as much as possible to get things sorted as would every single person that has also purchased a house from Larkfleet that I have come in contact with.
