Been to the one next to Wembley stadium a few times, food’s decent enough at that price bracket, good service, friendly staff. Normally go for happy hour cocktails, unfortunately, when an event is on... See more

Visited Las Iguanas in Bracknell on…
Visited Las Iguanas in Bracknell on Sunday, Food was very very poor, steak very over cooked in spite of asking for medium rare, loaded chicken served with rice and chips which was not properly cooked throughout and my rack of ribs was not on a rack and had been individually presented soaked in sauce so you couldn't work out where it had been before !!
That was the good bit .... the drinks which were definitely needed and seemed like a good offer (2 for 1) were ridiculously watered down and took ages to arrive, these guys aren't mixologists or barely bar staff, possibly their first day but either way some QC should have been implemented because they were all dire, especially the espresso martini which was absolutely the WORST I have ever tasted (#nasty).
We did however have a friends and family voucher for 50% off to soften the blow but the bill for 3 people still came to over £125 which was ridiculous for the poor food, drinks and service we endured. I didn't make a fuss because it was Fathers day and my daughter was trying to do her bit but the experience was something I wouldn't wish on anybody, go anywhere else but here, this place sucks a holes !!!
Terrible experience.
Booked a table at Las Iguanas Cardiff city centre at 5pm for a pre-show meal. We allowed 2 hours to order and eat. We were seated immediately, and left completely unattended for about 10 minutes, until we managed to flag down a waitress. We ordered drinks, starters and main courses. Drinks were bought after another 10 minutes, and were all incorrect, and sent back. It took another 10 minutes to get the correct ones.
Starters were brought soon after, and the dishes cleared fairly quickly. We were then left for 40 minutes completely unattended, until we were finally able to flag a waitress. We asked where our mains were, as we had to leave in half an hour. The waitress checked, and said they would be here soon. They eventually came, and we had to cram them down in 15 minutes in order to make the show.
The food was not very good, and the meal for three would have cost £100, if we hadn't insisted on reductions for the terrible experience.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. No-one that worked there seemed to care at all about us, the table was dirty, there were very few (not very good) staff, and poor, late, and expensive food.
White font on white background in emails
The restaurant is fine but why, why, why do you use white writing on a white background in your marketing emails???? They are very literally unreadable, it's genuinely horrific
My family and I went to Las Iquanas at…Disappointed
My family and I went to Las Iquanas at Festival Place Basingstoke to celebrate a birthday.
Unfortunately the food was awful and the service wasn’t much better.
They served all meals without sour cream as they had run out (5.30pm on a Saturday!)
They then had the nerve to add a service charge to the bill and wondered why we didn’t leave a tip.
Would not recommend!
Akos was amazing
Akos was amazing. Honestly he needs a raise. Works really hard and has been amazing tonight
£20 first app use offer doesn't work and they don't care
The app says when you download you get £20 off a meal if the meal comes to over £50. Downloaded app. Arrived at restaurant. No offer on the app. Nothing allowed. Sent feedback to Head Office (guest experience email). Message comes back "well you used a different offer on the app." As explained the restaurant said they would not honour a £20 discount so a not so good offer was the best they could do and suggested I use a different one which had a much less discount. Asked for further feedback on why offers are made and then don't work. No answer.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience in Canterbury in 'las Iguanas branch'.
Toilets were dirty with no running water. Should have been our cue to leave. Food took 40 minutes to be served with a tasteless dried out pork and pineapple quesadilla and cold potatoes. Mosquitoes and dirty table. Don't waste your time!
Gun Wharf Quays
James from Gun Wharf Quays was very tentative and friendly.
Great service by our server Arijon
What made our experience great was the 18 year old Arijon at the Canterbury branch, he was always smiling, great with a large group, very attentive. Great service for someone so young, great job and made our day, we didn’t have to wait too long between drinks at all, especially on a busy Saturday.
I had the chilli which had a nice kick but the portions are on the slightly small side especially the sides!
Management Team AWFUL
Lovely food and lovely team (waiting team and bar team) all amazing and always smiling.
Manager however is a disgrace! Stop leaving for a cigarette every 10 minutes and be there for your team. I've read several reviews where they've claimed this happened a lot. Also saw a review from an ex-colleague at LI Southampton. He's absolutely right! Manager walks out and points the fingers whenever something goes wrong. Maybe if you're actually there you could actually play your role too...Las Iguanas Souhampton needs some new managers and ASAP.
Will not be returning
Food is not like it used to be. Tasteless, small portions the tortillas were a pathetic size, very disappointing. Will not be returning which is very disappointing as this used to be a good place for Mexican food.
A very disappointing experience – wouldn’t return
I visited Las Iguanas with a friend, along with our children – a total of 9 kids between us. What was meant to be a fun family meal quickly turned into one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had.
When I queried the menu regarding safe food options for my autistic daughter, I was met with criticism from the server for not disclosing her allergy upfront. As far as I’m aware, it is standard (and legally required) for staff to ask about allergies when taking orders – not blame customers for not declaring them immediately. I explained that my daughter is autistic and has specific safe foods she sticks to, but instead of showing understanding or empathy, he dismissed me and called a manager – not out of concern, but seemingly because he just didn’t want to deal with it.
Thankfully, the manager was more understanding and took the time to listen and help. However, the damage was already done – it felt as though my daughter’s needs were seen as an inconvenience, and the attitude of the server made me feel like we were being discriminated against.
To top it off, when it came time to pay the bill, we were met with further unpleasantness. An extremely rude woman, who appeared annoyed that we were using the “Kids Eat Free” offer, seemed to be in a strop about it – despite the fact we were only redeeming one free kids’ meal per adult, as per the offer terms. Her attitude was unprofessional and left a sour taste at the end of an already upsetting visit.
We came with good intentions, excited for a fun family meal – and left feeling judged, uncomfortable, and unwelcome. I won’t be returning.
Need to work on customer service
Went for the unlimited tapas for 90 minutes. Food was very slow coming out. Only 3 tables in the restaurant, yet staff very slow and forgot part of the orders, which we ended up chasing. Only some items on the already limited menu were available. Staff refuse to give us a paper bag to take away the leftover food on the table (that the child didnt eat), as they may have needed them for others... would not recommend for children.
Visited to have cocktails for partners birthda
Visited to have cocktails for partners birthday ordered 4 cocktails thinking it was 241 ordered at 2:55 charged full price by barmaid knowing 241 started at 3, didn’t show any courtesy to say “in 5mins it’s 241”. Shame on you 😡
I wanted to put less than star
I wanted to put less than star, I went to Las Iguanas in Leeds with a group of about 8-10 of us, at 18:30 relatively quick to take our order, the starter arrived in a reasonable time, not everyone had a starter, the main meals took about 2 hours, my food was cooked but I think the loaded chicken , I physically struggled to cut with the knife, I think it may have been easier to snap the pieces to eat them.Poor Food, very poor service
Las Iguanas!
Las Iguanas is a great Mexican restaurant with great cocktails and a fun vibe
Las Iguanas Torquay!
Made an order for food from Kick ass Burritos based in Las Iguanas Torquay. Had loaded chilli fries, sweet potato fries and a very very large Burrito. Honestly, it all tasted epic! The food was hot and delicious. Delivery was pretty quick as well. Will definitely use again.
Awful Experience in Cambridge
We went to the one in Cambridge today. We waited over an hour for the food and then they failed to bring one of the children’s meals and one side. When ordering the meal at the bar I asked the barman to check he had 6 meals as it was very loud near the bar and I wanted to check he had got all meals. He said he had all 6. He told us there was a slight delay on food and said it would be approx 30 mins. He told us this after we had ordered and paid. We were not concerned by this amount of time.
When the food came out after an hour and 5 minutes. And after asking about it twice. One of the kids meals was missing and one side. We explained this to the waiter and that we had doubled checked our order when ordering.. The waiter was extremely rude to us blaming us. There was no apology just rudeness. We asked to speak to the manager and then had to wait a while before he came to us. He took the order for the missing items and promised to cook them quickly for us. We left without the kids having their desserts which were included in the price as we did not want to stay any longer. The food was lovely but took far too long to be served.
We should have been told the correct wait time BEFORE we ordered and not treated so rudely by the waiter. We were not the only people complaining. It was the Cambridge half marathon so they must have known they were going to be busy.
It was the utter rudeness we were met with that completely ruined this experience. The waiter was extremely rude to us and showed no customer skills.
Great atmosphere
Great atmosphere, they had a screen for the rugby for those of us who wanted to watch it.
Cheshire Oaks branch - excellent service + lovely food
We went to the branch at a Cheshire Oaks, it was a Friday so most places were already packed and we thought we’d try Las Iguanas for a change.
The menu was varied and the lady and two young men who waited on us were lovely and friendly. The food came out really quickly and was delicious and very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants.
All in all a great and pleasant experience and we’ll be visiting again.
