Been to the one next to Wembley stadium a few times, food’s decent enough at that price bracket, good service, friendly staff. Normally go for happy hour cocktails, unfortunately, when an event is on... See more

Georgia looked after us
Georgia looked after us, and paid special attention to our kids, ensuring their happiness.
Really nice food, and we felt valued.

Lucian - canterbury las iguanas provided amazing service that boy deserves a raise
Terrible
Leicester restaurant has really gone downhill - I wouldn’t visit here again for food. Lukewarm food and rat traps.
Peterboroughv1559
Peterborough. Food lovely. But cocktails had little or no alcohol in them .
Poor Customer Servixe, Limited and Expensive
Waiter rolled eyes when we asked to leave as menu was limited for our dietary requirements and when we asked to get a coke to go. In general the menu is limited and expensive. I advise others to review the menu before heading here.

Genuinely the worst food I’ve eaten in a long time, unseasoned chicken, steak cooked to death pulled pork barely defrosted and it’s not even that cheap

Nice food totally let down by lacklustre and uninterested staff.
Had to ask twice for cutlery and was waiting for five minutes before we had some after the main course had arrived. The fella who brought the food was way too busy to get some cutlery so asked a girl who was dealing with other customers and then walked away.
The food was nice but after the mains we left as had no interest in staying for more.
Poor service
My husband and I weren't even in the restaurant in Liverpool1 for more than 5 minutes before wanting to leave. When I asked for a table the guy on the waiting desk looked use up and down before asking if I had booked, which fair enough I hadn't.
The waitress then took me to a table squashed between 2 other couples (I literally could have eaten off their plates we were so close) whilst telling me I had an hour to eat as the table was booked at 2pm.
The restaurant was 2 thirds empty so why they wanted to squash us in I don't know.
We decided to leave as we were made to feel as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit, needless to say we won't be back.
Compulsory service charge causes embarrassment
First off - food was outstanding. We went for the bottomless Tapas and every dish was brilliant. Super fresh, hot and tasty. Hardly any wait between courses and staff were really welcoming and friendly. Great value at just £15 each too.
Only small downside is the way the service charge is handled. I have no issue at all tipping the staff, but I do take issue with the way Las Iguanas presents the service charge upon payment - it's compulsory. When handed the card reader to pay, it offers a range of various amounts to give, but DOES NOT offer an option to decline. The nearest option is 'other', which defaults to you getting charged.
As mentioned I have no issue tipping, but believe I should be given an option. The only way to decline is to ask the server to remove the charge - embarrassing for all involved.
As other reviews have mentioned, the default reply is 'our menus and bills state quite clearly that the service charge is optional'. This isn't the case when you come to pay.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Went for the unlimited tapas. You get 90 mins, which is fine. But after waiting just over an hour we still had no food. No one else in the restaurant did either. Not sure what was going on but we left, paid for the drinks and went elsewhere. Wouldn't recommend
Las Iguanas Livingston
Visited Las Iguanas Livingston tonight for a night out with friends and we all had the Unlimited tapas. Oh my gosh what an amazing experience. The food was great. Staff was so friendly and always checking on us if we needed to order more. Special thanks to Stacy and Miguel for the wonderful service. You are missing out if you don't try the Unlimited tapas.
Las Iguanas Peterborough Tapas
Las Iguanas Peterborough had an unlimited Tapas offer for £15 then you could add the drinks package for £20 for 90 minutes - this included 4 wines, prosecco, beers, 3 coctails and 2 non-alcoholic mocktail drinks
The tapas were very tasty my favourite was the grilled halloumi pieces with honey and the sweet corn salad - they are loads of food choices to suit every one
Staff were really friendly and efficient
Went for my daughters birthday
Went for my daughters birthday. The main course was a child's portion. First attempt was cold. The price for the 2 of us with one main meal and one cocktail.was £47. .with a voucher it was £37. You get embarrassed into giving a tip. ..disgraceful. never again.
Unacceptable costs
We recently visited Las Iguanas, with whom there is an issue over pricing.
The food was OK, but overpriced compared to an earlier visit.
A glass of wine was an unexpected £9.50.
The most concerning issue was a ‘service charge’.
We were not told about this at the table.
An ‘optional’ service charge was only mentioned on the last line of the last paragraph at the bottom of the last page of the menu, which was taken away when we ordered.
It did not say what the amount of service charge was to be applied, or when the ‘optional’ charge was applied.
Instead there was a reference to a web site.
The service charge appeared on the bill, and it was necessary to return to the entry desk to obtain a menu.
This is unacceptable, and therefore we are unable to recommend Las Iguanas.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Ordered a pint of corona and two cocktails and a glass of wine. After 5 minutes the glass of wine arrived. After waiting anotherc20 minutes and still no drinks mentioned to waitress that we were still waiting for the rest to arrive and then had to wait another 7 minutes so. What a joke.
Disastrous Dining Experience: Unacceptable Service
I originally booked a table for 8:30 PM through the website but, feeling quite hungry, I called the restaurant to see if an earlier slot was available. They confirmed a 7:30 PM slot and even sent me a confirmation message. However, when I arrived at the restaurant, they outright denied my 7:30 PM booking and insisted I wait until 8:30 PM. To make matters worse, after placing our order, we waited a ridiculous 50 minutes for starters that never arrived. Frustrated, we decided to leave without eating. The service was utterly incompetent, and the staff showed no effort in managing customers.
Great service
Great service , great food and drinks were good too , very fast with the drinks aswell.
Would definitely recommend
Disgusted
Disgusted: I couldn't believe it. We we're a party of 8, and as we arrived, they brought 8 wine glasses, where two of them had two very clear and obvious lipstick marks. I wish I'd photographed it for this review, but I was so shocked I just immediately told them, as they were still putting the glasses on the table. I said "Why are you serving us dirty glasses. That hasn't even been attempted to be cleaned!". We cant even say that because it's new years eve, they're busy, because its a booking. They weren't even at capacity, so there's just no excuse... Then our waitress had a stinking attitude with us because I'd complained. I wasn't rude or abusive, I was just... assertive about the fact that we'd just arrived, and immediately served with dirty glasses. I couldn't possibly imagine a universe where you'd do that. I noticed the glasses as soon as they hit the table, so how can both our waiters, and the kitchen staff miss that??
Then after the wine glasses, we were given the tumbler glasses, which were also dirty. I just dont get it. Didn't bother to complain, I just used my shirt to clean it, I didn't want my food contaminated.
Credit where credit is due:
The woman's attitude improved towards the main meal, where she'd gone out of here way to get me a spoon I didn't ask for. She must have overheard me asking a mate if there was a spoon in the cutlery box. So that was fair.
It was expensive dining to be fair. 42 per person was high. Quality of food was not that good. I had these beef pocket things, and they were very greasy. The main was a curry that resembled a Korma, but was too sweet, and the chicken chunks were dry in the middle, not very nice. The fries however were lovely, but I had to pay extra for those.

Called in at the Torquey restaurant had a lovely meal. Harry the waiter was so polite and nothing was too much trouble he made our visit very pleasant and we will definitely be back in the near future.
