Latin routes listen to the customer. The tour is a perfect match to my requirements. Everything works, all the support one needs without being crowded in anyway.
The guides are very well informed and the La Pinta is a well oiled machine, exceptionally well run. The manager - Edwin - actually has a degree in Tour Management.

I have just booked 2 groups of clients on wonderful trips to South America featuring the Lares Trek and Machu Picchu . Both groups will have private tours and guides and are extremely detailed trips with up to 11 hotels and 9 flights , one being a months trip. My expert was Alex Wessley he has been fantastic his knowledge and client support has been simply excellent nothing has been too much trouble for him . I feel totally confident that my clients will have wonderful experiences and lifelong memories on their bespoke trips to South America next year . Thank you Alex .

I have used many tour companies over 50 years to travel the world. Latin Routes is the best. My itinerary and dates were complex involving a month's round the world trip via Chile, North Island New Zealand and Brisbane returning via Dubai. This involved 3 airlines and a detailed programme to my specification in Chile including Santiago and internal flights to the Atacama Desert. This trip was designed with the help of Julia Ross who is brilliant. I started planning this trip when I was in France but communication with Julia was fast and efficient. The trip all went according to plan with no problems. When I return to Latin America it will be with Latin Routes - hopefully with Julia Ross as the Travel Specialist !

Feeling confident before we went that we would have help if we needed it! Julia was a reassuring presence and answered all our questions, helping to arrange a really exciting itinerary and making some changes to arrangements due to the political situation at the time We had some excellent local guides who really enhanced our experience. The places we went to were even more impressive than we'd hoped!

Latin Routes arranged a great Peru trip for me. Everything was well organized and on time - I never had to follow up for any information or for any pickup - everything was always on time. Our requirements were “outside the normal parameters” with some items being booked ourselves and Latin Routes (& Michelle particularly) was amazing at accommodating us.

Everything went amazingly well. We had some really amazing guides (especially Juan Manuel). Our transfers always arrived on time and gave us an extra level of comfort.

Peru was an amazing experience and their help in arranging made it come to fruition. I never would have been able to manage it all so last minute without them!

When we started looking to organise our trip to Argentina, it was a little overwhelming. Latin Routes popped up and we sent an inquiry, we were immediately contacted by Charlie Mason and he was invaluable throughout the whole process. We have just returned after the full 30 days of travel in South America and by far the highlights were the 19 day tour with Latin Routes in Peru. From the moment we arrived in Peru to being guided to the security gate at the airport on departure we felt totally looked after by your agents and guides. The communication each day by WhatsApp during the full 19 days was outstanding and at no time we were unsure of arrangements. At all times we felt safe and secure and were confident in the arrangements by the teams in Peru.

All the guides were excellent and the quality of the transport was of the highest standard. All vehicles were virtually brand new. During the tour there were many small touches that we noticed that made you feel valued and special. The quality of all the accommodation was very good and would not have wanted to make any changes.

In summary it is hard to find anything to improve that would have made our tour any better and appreciate the guidance and planning by Latin Routes to make this a memorable tour. The selection of itinerary clearly benefitted from local experience and feedback from others which would be very difficult to be able to reproduce without the experience and expertise at Latin Routes.

Thank you Latin Routes for the guidance to take the train from Puno to Cusco which was a fantastic experience and something we did not expect to have enjoyed so much. It was a fantastic day we will never forget.

We found Latin Routes by chance on the internet when looking for a specialist South American travel agent. From the moment we picked up the phone their service exceeded every expectation. We wanted a holiday of a lifetime to Peru and Rio de Janeiro and we truly experienced far more that we had hoped or dreamed of.

Any worries and concerns were listened to. Having never been to South America, no question was too small to answer. Rio was equally fantastic and Hotel Arpoador just perfect. Ipanema was the best choice for us being so close to the home of bossanova.

I was recommended to use Latin Routes for a trip to Argentina by an independant travel agent, i contacted the company and was immediately contacted by them. Nicole put together an itinerary that was perfectly tailored to what i wanted to do. As i normally book my own trips i was a litle concerned how the transfers internal flights etc would work out. Well there was no need to worry about anything, on arriving in Argentina i was met by my transfer and the guide Margarita was brilliant, she gave me some great advice, helped me with money changing, and e mailed me some information regarding using public transport and a recommended day out, she was a star. Everything was absolutely brilliant, all the transfers arrived bang on time, the internal flights were timed perfectly, the hotels were all good quality and the app was really useful giving you messages about all your flight information. There is even support if needed by local agents you can text.This company has a very high level of professionalism. I was very impressed and am looking to visit South America again and without a doubt i will be contacting Latin Routes, there is no way you could top this service.

From the beginning of our trip idea, Latin Routes were accessible, friendly and well informed.
Once the initial conversations about our trip were complete, the draft itinerary arrived quickly with accommodation and excursion suggestions. The advisor was endlessly patient and supportive until the itinerary suited us personally.
Our trip to Costa Rica in September 2023 was the fourth trip we have booked through Latin Routes. Sarah, our advisor really listened to what we were especially interested in seeing and personalised the itinerary to give a good mix of what we asked for, peppered with suggestions about things we hadn't even considered. Her knowledge about the country and what it had to offer was invaluable.
When we arrived in San Jose, we were met by the local travel representative and given a 24 hour contact for any queries or difficulties we might encounter. We did query some travel plans during our trip and their response was immediate and very clear.
The accommodation was all very comfortable (some luxuriously so), the pick ups and transfers punctual and smooth and the excursions exciting and inspiring.
Excursion guides are all certified and all those we encountered were outstanding. Excellent language skills and fantastic wildlife and geographical knowledge.
Costa Rica is justifiably proud of its eco-credentials and the people are friendly and keen to tell you about their lives. It is a very relaxed and easy place to visit.
We didn't choose to self drive but met many people who were. The roads are mostly good, though in the mountains, very winding.
Wifi is available everywhere and is mostly free. Dollars are freely accepted, though your change will be given in local currency.
We ate in local restaurants and used taxis and felt very comfortable and safe.
Our trip took us from Torteguero on the Caribbean Coast to Golfo Dulce on the Pacific Coast, via La Fortuna, Manuel Antonio and the Talamanca Mountains cloud forest. Each place was different from the last and all beautiful and unique.
The birds, reptiles and mammals were all astonishing. Our last excursion was whale watching in Golfo Dulce, where we saw humpback mothers and calves and breaching males. It was incredible.
I would thoroughly recommend using Latin Routes organise your trip to Costa Rica or any other part of the Americas.

This was our second holiday with Latin Routes after a fabulous holiday the previous year to Costa Rica. We picked up with Charlie again to discuss options for this year's holiday and the service we received was faultless. You don't feel like you are just another customer, but that your personal preferences really matter and there is a real desire to tailor the holiday to meet your needs. We had some thoughts on what we might like to do but Charlie was able to offer some other options to us based on what he has learnt about what we like in a holiday and we ended up in Peru.
Once again, the itinerary, choice of hotels and activities and the organisation were absolutely perfect. They took all the worry and hassle out of everything but yet it still felt like our own holiday. There was always someone to meet us on time in safe and comfortable vehicles. The hotels were perfect - lovely boutique style hotels exactly as we had asked for, with a local feel to them.
All the trips were well run and gave us the perfect highlights to our holiday. There is nothing that we would have changed and Latin Routes have now become our trusted holiday partners - I've already recommended them to two friends who are also booking their trips with them on the back of our experiences.

Having recently had to give a negative report on another tour company I thought I should sing the praises of Latin Routes following our fantastic trip to Brazil, Argentina and Chile earlier this year. Latin Routes put together an excellent itinerary for the three of us. We got to see some amazing places and scenery and still had time to relax and explore on our own. Our bucket list trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands had been looked forward to for a very long time. We were not disappointed! We visited the capital Quito, travelled down the Avenue of the Volcanoes to Cotopaxi, Banos, Riobamba, Cuenca and Guayaquil (all so interesting) before flying to Galapagos. We had so enjoyed Ecuador but the highlight of our trip without a doubt was our five day eastern cruise on the beautiful yacht La Pinta. Galapagos was magical!
