Great website, easy ordering, great prices for sleeper timber and they deliver. How good is that.
My mistake I was expecting an email with a delivery date or maybe even a time slot.
I’d just got back from a 3 day job away. There is nobody here, it’s August and quite popular with 2 weeks away.
Luckily I was here. I asked the driver what would you do if the gates are closed. He said it’s kerbside delivery so he’d leave 12 sleepers on the public footpath. That could have been for 2 weeks.
I’d rate the company 5/5 if I’d received notification of delivery date. That way if nobody is going to be here we could reschedule at your convenience or arrange for 2 to be here to move the delivery from the public footpath
I’d use again but would need a delivery date for a customers projects so it could be moved off a footpath

Delivery was meant to be between 8am and 10am had been waiting for Delivery all day and they turned up at 3:35pm Louise told that it will hundred percent be in the morning not happy at all

I have had an account with Lawsons (Colney Heath) for a few years now and purchase many items from them. It’s always a very straightforward process either onsite or on the telephone. The guys and girls in the yard and office keep things very simple and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Poor timber quality
Poor timber quality. These decking boards are low-grade, heavily knotted, and feature severe bark inclusions and grain defects right on the top face. They trap water, splinter easily, and are prone to losing knots over time—definitely not worth the money if you want a clean, long-lasting finish.

Sent totally the wrong slabs which were twice the price and asked if I wouldn't mind cutting them to the size i needed then they would let me have them for £221 50% of when my original order was £127 I said no come and get them off my drive so I can park my vehicle which took 3 days !! AND no refund till they were collected...ABYSMAL!!!!!

Re-routing delivery vehicles can take time, which is why the collection took three days to arrange. Refunds can only be processed once returned goods have been collected and received back into stock.
The delivering branch’s telephone number is shown on the invoice. Contact details for all our branches are also available on our website. Nevertheless, we appreciate how frustrating this experience was and regret that we did not meet the standard of service you expected.
