The lid is a terrible design as it sags in the middle so every time it rains its full of water, we then have to remove it to clean the lid. More thought in the design would be helpful. The setting up Instructions are so bad, they did even relate to the model I ordered, pips in different places etc…. Cone on guys its a nice idea but need so much improvement.

AVOID! Waste of money poorly made and don’t last more than a year or 2

Have owned 2 lazy spas over 4 years, had to replace the first a lazy spa Vegas due to a faulty non return valve which is a known issue, had the liner replaced during warranty (only just) this only lasted one summer also.
Purchased another lazy spa this time the Paris, hoping ans they knew anboht the dodgy valve it would of been sorted, used it for the first time last year, absolutely fine, packed it away carefully for winter, Just set it up again and you’ll never guess, but the The non return valve has gone again and the water is leaking out! Contacted them but I’m about 6 weeks out of warranty and they don’t care. Didn’t even offer a discount to purchase. Anew liner. Won’t be purchasing another from them as they are all clearly faulty and poorly made and staff don’t really care either

Just a positive review on the warranty process

Just a positive review on the warranty process. For me it was very slick and sorted within 10 days.

I registered the hot tub to get the extended warranty to 2 years and the pump stopped working after 15 months.

I registered a claim. They asked for some photos and a video and agreed to replace the pump. Experience was exactly what I would have expected from a warranty claim.

Absolutely Useless

Over an hours wait for customer service who then tell you to write in. Simple part missing from the box but the lack of care from this company will leave you furious. Will never use this company again

Products don’t last long

I’m so disappointed with the lay z spa. It cost £500 two years ago but then you have to buy the matts, thermal jacket, chemicals, filters etc so easily cost us £700 in total and we’ve only had one and a half summers out of it and now we have no end of problems with it and have to throw it away. Unfortunately our warranty expired 2weeks ago but the fact you can only get a 2 year warranty speaks volumes about how long these products are expected to last. Bin it is for ours

Great service no issues at all

had a leaky liner for my Helsinki and spoke to Assande and Elizabeth who sorted my problem out within 4 hours and new liner arrived a couple of days later. I have seen a lot of negative reviews on here but my experience has been very positive I must say. I am not connected with Bestway or their affiliates and just a regular consumer. My only advice is just follow their warranty procedures step by step as I did and there is no problem plus clearly your product needs to be in warranty as mine has a 2 year one which runs until November so hopefully no more claims. Works for me.Also this is not the official Lay-Z-Spa trust pilot site so may be worth checking out the proper one or best way customer service.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH, NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE

We purchased the top of the range model Lazy-spa hoping for our guest house in the Lake District hoping it would attract vistors to our property. Great! it did and we got many bookings because of it, however, after a couple of months things started to go badly wrong. We followed the instructions to the letter and only minimal useage and 3 months it started to breakdown. Flashing warning lights, you name it...it happened. I then tried to contact Lazyspa, no reply to emails, no contact numbers to ring. After reading about this company on Trustpilot and other platforms, I realised we had made a huge mistake in buying it. Guests would leave saying they were duped because it kept breaking down and our bookings dropped because we were able to advertise a hot tub. We are now taking legal advise on the matter but please do not buy this absolute rubbish.

Helsinki model.£1000

Helsinki model.£1000! Absolutely loved this for the first 4 months the design and £4000 cheaper that a solid one. My experience after that is much the same as everyone else’s. Not fit for purpose and absolutely no longevity. Bought over lock down called numerous times as the seals inside became de laminated after 4 months . No help from customer service just hours on the phone trying to get through. 2 pumps( not covered by warranty, got off a friend). Tub stayed up but not with air, water getting into the outer through I can only think was the delaminated seals as there was no external leak. Great while it worked but think of it as a very expensive coffee that once enjoyed it will soon be in the recycling. Or maybe not in the case of lazyspa! Won’t buy any product from them again.
Summery. Be prepared to throw it away no matter how much you spend on it, or look after it.

I only wish I had read the reviews…

I only wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. Bought a Helsinki during pandemic for £850.00 ( they are now selling for £450.00.) Stored properly over winter got it out this spring ...leaking liner. Patches useless, spent a fortune on other sealants patches. No way would the leak repair. Then contacted the so called 'customer services'. I can honestly say one of the worst experiences I have had. Totally not interested in my claim. I was left with a useless piece of plastic and two upset kids and wife. They referred me to the spares section where I found a liner replacement for £499.99. You can actually buy a complete new one on Amazon for c£400.00. Time someone took these people to task. I asked to speak to the Chief Executive, no chance just fobbed off. Its no wonder they weren't prepared to honour the faulty goods because if they had they would probably get a landslide of complainants. Absolute rubbish Someone needs to take these people to task. I am taking the whole thing to my local tip and putting the entire episode down to (bad) experience Lee Baglow claim no ##7099-20##. Rubbish product even worse people!!

Bulging lid not covered under warranty - How?

We have had our Hawaii hot tub for about 10 months now and love the tub. However the lid had started to bulge which has progressively got worse to the point where instead of having a flat lid its like an inverted hill. I am still in warranty and reported this to the customer care team. After lots of images of the fault and back and forth I was told this is not something that can be replaced as its not a manufacturing fault!. I am surprised as the lid has not been over inflated so if its not a manufacturing fault what else is it? The only solution was 'To buy a replacement lid'. Reading other forums I suspect this will happen again and seems to be a common theme, so just a way to make money from customers in already hard times.

Triggers Broom - our garden is a hot tub graveyard

I’m not sure why I’m bothering writing this as the dozens of previous reviews saying the same thing probably cover things. Having spent a lot of money on this to help us relax(!) we have now had 4 heating units and 2 liners due to faults. The latest heating unit has arrived already faulty as did the one before so we will go through 3 in the space of 2 weeks - all dated November 2020. Customer service doesn’t exist. DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH. Bruce waiting for your reply - we get more messages from you than my Mum!

Don't ever buy a lazyspa/bestway…

Don't ever buy a lazyspa/bestway product.
You will end up incurring extra costs to fill and reheat hot tubs after they are replaced under warranty
Not only are they badly made but the warranty process is very timely and complicated and their customer service is awful.
I have now had Helsinki pump and liner replaced twice due to the same faults.
After going through the most complicated time consuming warranty process twice on the first claim I asked for some contribution towards having to fill and reheat the hot tub but was immediately refused.
On the 2nd claim we had the liner delivered but no lid or cover which had been included with the liner replacement on the first claim. We had thrown away the lid and cover so contacted them that it hadn't been delivered. After going through numerous emails with them they consistently advised that would not replace the lid & cover and basically said I was lying that it had been delivered on the first claim. Why would I have thrown away if I hadn't had it replaced before.
I asked for a discount on the cost of £150 for the lid/cover but again refused. So now not only will I incur extra costs to fill & heat the hot tub I have to pay £150 for the lid/cover.
Disgusting greedy company with no empathy.

Standalone products are not covered by warranty even if bought direct from company. What an excellent company you are.
Bought replacement tub from ebay as lazy spa didn't have any. Has now developed a leek which must be internal because can't find anywhere.
It's OK because it's under warranty, but because I didn't buy the whole kit again it's not covered. Unbelievable service from another large company, obviously making loads of money because won't honor warranties.
Won't be buying your products again

Terrible customer service.

Broken pump. Endless emails back and forth (including many videos and photographs).
Eventually sent a spare part for me to fix!
In the ensuing phone call I was shouted at, told they wouldn't help anymore and eventually had the phone put down on me.
Truly appalling customer service.

Shambolic products and service

I submitted a warranty claim for a broken pump in August and after 3 months of backwards and forwards sending countless videos, pictures, emails and complaints they FINALLY agreed to send me a new pump.
Needless to say the pump didn’t arrive after waiting in all day for the supposed delivery.
I phoned up (and after waiting on hold forever) the adviser said they can’t help and to send ANOTHER email or speak to the delivery company. The on-duty manager (Ruth) refused to take the call from the adviser and the adviser said they’re unable to log a complaint.
Shambolic customer service from start to end - avoid this company and it’s products at all costs.
Another email and waiting weeks for a reply it is…
