Disgraceful - Full of disgusting attitude. No-one wants to help. They are paid good money for a service, and they cant help. Do not waste your time or money. Better doing it yourself. Parents are retired and relied on Leaders helping but obviously not. Awful Derby branch.

Awful - we pay for full management and we are doing it all ourselves. No-one gets back to you. Most of the staff have attitude. A legal document was sent to the wrong person. GDPR error and no apology. Awful experience.

Currently a tenant to a lovely landlord even the landlord has had problems with leaders we lost our guarantor to which we informed leaders in person didn't seem to care only asked if we got another person who can do it the new person was gonna do what previous guarantor was gonna do took them 2 months to sort out with communication

Do not use these estate agents for lettings! Me and my partner have had an awful experience over the past 3 years having leaders as our estate agents and property manager. They have lied to us every step of the way.
Highly rate our current property manager Leah Bostock. Since taking over our property Leah has gone above and beyond to ensure we are receiving updates about any maintenence issues we have. Leah keeps us in the loop constantly and calls me straight away if I ever ask too have a chat over the phone regarding any issues I'd like too put forward. Very proactive and a pleasure too talk too.
Thank you Leah 😊

I have recently vacated a property of which Leaders have been managing for my previous landlord.
I have to say the service was great and very efficient. The communication from Georgina Naylor, Derby branch, was brilliant 👏.
Thank you for all your help!
Josh.

I have been with leaders for a year. Moved out the property 2 months ago but they did not give back my deposit yet. It’s also difficult to get in touch with them. Does not really reply to emails if there are concerns or issues.

Have been using Leaders to manage our property since May 2023 and have had numerous issues.
Very difficult to speak to anyone, calls & emails ignored.
Repairs not reported/ dealt with in a timely manner. Charged for repairs that have not been completed.
Had a meeting with area manager to discuss all issues but continue to go unaddressed and have to repeatedly go over them with different agents. Area manager agreed that we had not been receiving a management service but unwilling to rebate service fees despite this.
Have given notice to terminate tenancy with leaders who have not been willing to liaise with new agent as requested.
Still tied in contract despite having given notice.
Would not recommend as their management service has incurred us more cost and stress than if we had done it ourselves.

My property has been managed by them for 3 years now and had nothing but problems from them. Charged for check outs that weren't done properly. I did get a partial refund and Leaders paid for my lounge, stairs and landing to be redecorated, however not a good job and decorator broke my banister.
When ever, either myself or tenant phone their offices, staff are mainly polite and assure me that they will look into problem and phone me back. Mainly this doesn't happen.
I agreed renewal of tenancy personally with my tenant after numerous requests that Leaders sort it for me. I've been chasing them for 2 months now. Constantly told that they have sorted things only to be followed by emails asking me to sign and return renewal contracts??? They have had signed documents for weeks now, personally handed in at their Derby Office by myself and my tenant.
I seem to be tied into a contract with them, but they are a hindrance. I'm undergoing serious health issues and have further operations scheduled hence the reason I found an agent. They do nothing, just cause endless stress and problems. Would give them zero stars if an option.
I'd advise all landlords and tenants to find a different company as I will do as soon as possible

I have been a landlord with them for three years, using their managed service. It has been a terrible experience. How can you perform your job as a property manager in such a disrespectful manner? The property is the most valuable asset for a landlord because of the significant investment of time and money, yet you show a complete lack of care. There have been so many issues that I could write a book about them.

friendly staff and easy to communicate with. We have been kept up to date with progress throughout our letting process.

Leaders is a good agency, I had a few issues in the flat I am renting, and always had a professional support. I am a strong believer if both parts are respectful and nice with each other, the whole process is much better for everybody. I recommend their services.
"Unfortunately, my experience with Leaders was disappointing. Despite promises of attentive service, communication was lacking, and there were issues with transparency throughout the process. Overall, not recommended at all."
This agent does not care about client’s property.
My neighbour’s fence has been damaged for at least a year and when the storms blew it completely into my garden the agent said they couldn’t repair until they had quotes. I would expect a property agent to have maintenance suppliers and contracts in place. They also blamed the weather for not doing anything. There has been no positive or helpful communication at all. They are not easy to deal with - beware!
