I had an appointment to view a house at 2pm. I recieved a phone call in the morning to confirm the appointment that following afternoon. I got there on time, there was no one at the door or anywhere to be seen. I called them mutliple times but it went to voicemail everytime. I sent voicemgs and text msg. Still nothing. I had waited over an hour with my toddler in such cold windy weather. It has been 4 days and yet still not heard anything from anyone. So unprofessional and no courtsey whatsoever.

SCAMMERS PUTTING FAMILIES IN DANGER

July 2020 - April 2021

Since July I have paid £5048 in rent to Leaders letting agents, for a 2 bedroom terraced house in Old Basford.

This house has black mould.

The boiler is leaking.

The bathroom is leaking

The floorboards are rotten.

The EPC shouldn't have passed.

There is Dry rot all through the house.

The banister was not attached.

The toilet seat was broken.

There is no CO2 alarm

We Have all fallen ill.

In the terms of the tenancy, we agreed to move in IF and WHEN all of these things were resolved. This was in writing. This was signed by myself and a letting agent who will remain anonymous, who no longer works for leaders but can confirm all of this. Leaders said there is no proof.

We got told we would be given an early surrender if tenancy, and be exchanged to a livable home.

We had a property surveyor out today who confirmed all of this and said the house is unlivable.

Leaders Nottingham have since told me if I want to leave, I am to pay an early surrender charge and I am liable to pay ALL rent and ALL utility bills until they can find a new tenant.

My partner Kallum Murray-mills has Wilson disease, which is a disease of the liver. It causes a weakened immune system and he has fallen ill multiple times in this house.

Then contacted me MONTHS later to tell me to pay over £5000 in damages.

YOUR NEW TENANT REACHED OUT TO ME ON FACEBOOK BECAUSE YOU DID THE SAME THING TO THEM. PROMISED ISSUES WOULD BE FIXED BEFORE MOVE IN AND NEVER DID

I AM STILL TRAUMATISED BECAUSE OF YOU.

Letting a house through leaders was seamless, having Joelle explain every bit of the application process was indeed helpful. Always quick to respond to calls and mails. Although i would have preferred more information about letting the property was made open to enable me make an informed decision. I would still recommend them.

She is very friendly and patient, and our communication was smooth and efficient, which sped up the application process and solved our concerns.

My sale was full to the brim with complications as it was a leasehold property. I had no idea the up hill struggle I was about to encounter. Sue Carter and Paul Unwin were unbelievable in their support. Sue will never know just how much she helped me through what turned into a complete nightmare, financially and mentally. She is incredible. Relentless in her getting things done as they should be, including pushing my own solicitors and the buyers solicitors. Sue is the person you need by your side in such a situation. My flat sold in November 22, yet it took over a year and 2 months to complete. Sue became involved later in the process and with her knowledge and experience pushed forward and made it happen. I will be forever grateful to her for her support, kindness and commitment to getting this resolved for me. Both Sue and Paul were only a phone call away and always outstanding.

Great service, Mr Landa at Woodthorpe Nottingham branch was very polite and patient. Brilliant communication as regards request from tenant. This is my second time renting a property with Leaders, it has always been a good experience.

The sales team were so supportive and accommodating, they were professional,delivered on their promises and nothing was too much to ask. Perfect t with us being first time buyers. Kornelija was very open and honest about the house's sale conditions from the start, she even helped us find trades people for the work that needed doing on the house. Paul communicated with us well when it was unclear whether we would get our keys on the planned date. Our joy and excitement was shared. A very good experience.

We arrived to view a rental property to find that it was a group viewing. This was not explained when I was given an appointment time which was 5pm. I arrived to find at least 12-15 people waiting with children and families in the rain for nearly an hour. I called the number on the board and did not get an answer.
After 30
Minutes I left in disappointment
I have had no response from the agency

I would like to thank Sarah at the Nottingham, Woodthorpe branch for her exceptional service. She dealt with my selective licence application in a very efficient manner. She was friendly on the phone and email and processed it incredibly quickly to meet the deadline. This took the stress out of the process.

Absolutely unprofessional!!! AVOID

We have tried to view a house with them 3 times. First time they cancelled. 15 minutes before. 2nd time they weren't able to enter the property because they did not have the right keys. 3rd time they moved the viewing time again.

Viewed a different property and were told they would get back to us, answering our questions.

Asked about other properties that were listed online and they did not accept viewing yet. They said they would get back to us as soon as they accept viewings. You guess it, They never did.

We call 4-5 days later about the same property. And guess what, the property is already let.

We never got a single call back about any questions, or promises they had made.
Treated us very bad. DO NO RECOMMEND

Listing and viewing are same on time proper and kind communication agent Mr. Tom is very kind and helpful

DO NOT GO WITH THESE AGENTS.

I am so happy I have moved elsewhere, the 6 months with leaders as my letting agents were awful. Emails and calls ignored constantly, problems with the flat were never fixed and now they have been ignoring my emails and have been holding onto my deposit for over a month for no reason at all!!

All they cause is stress.
