Knowledgable and friendly team that took time over getting every aspect of eye care correct first time - allow extra time when you pay for car parking! The experience was only let down by a poor booking system.

A mere 5 stars is woefully inadequate to describe THE best and most comprehensive service I have EVER received from ANY Optician in the 58 and a half years I have needed glasses. Special thanks to Gill for a very thorough and unrushed sight test, while any changes being made to my prescription were explained and also WHY they were being done-another first for me(as on previous occasions the best I'd had was "Yes, you need new glasses, so I'll pass you over to..."), and to Lauren for her valued assistance choosing frames and again, for explaining everything so clearly. Both of you are truly an asset to the Company.
My thanks also to all those I didn't meet personally, but ALL of you should be commended for your exemplary teamwork, and I am so grateful finally to have found THE Best Opticians!

I've been with Leightons many years and they have always met the requirements for my sight. Full eye test, everything explained and great fitting of great, comfortable frames. Excellent service all round.

I have had terrible trouble trying to get the right glasses for me so came to Leightons. The optician Murrey tried hard to get the whole history and the whole picture. The first dispensing optician Kate gave me new information about my eyesight no one had ever mentioned. When I rang back as still had some issues a second dispensing optician Andy was able to surmise a number of things which has brought me to a place where finally I can have confidence my goal of having appropriate glasses for reading is met. The whole team are willing to work until all problems are solve with no time limit expected. Excellent service.

I was introduced to Leightons in Swindon by a friend following multiple unsuccessful attempts to get a good resolution to my sight and hearing issues locally.
You may ask what makes the Wonderful Team at Leightons so special, well, apart from what is in my opinion their unrivalled expertise, they treat me as a individual with kindness and courtesy, but above all, they listen, and that is so important.

I wanted to write and say thank you Adam for your kindness.
As you know mum has dementia, and when she has problems with her hearing life is so very much more difficult for us.
You willingly agreed to fit mum in at extremely short notice (at the very end of your long working day) despite your already busy day and that you were shortly to leave on your annual holiday. You fitted mum in with grace and kindness and resolved the issue without further ado.
You are always so very kind. You show empathy and feeling, you do not rush mum and you are patient and generous with your precious time.
We are so very lucky to have you looking after mum’s ears. It is one worry less for us. What would we do without you!

I had an appointment with Adam in Old Town, Swindon. Lovely kind patient friendly smart gentleman in a very clean inviting shop. He was very thorough and explained everything he could see on the screen with regards to my eardrum and hearing. Came away thankfully delighted my hearing hadn’t deteriorated. Hopefully they will all still be in Old town in a couple of years time.
