Excellent service as usual. Murray provided a methodical eye test and provided detailed explanations throughout which put my wife and myself at ease. Likely issues in the future were also discussed whiche eased our concerns. Lots of help in choosing new spectacles which arrived in 7 days and great care was taken at the fitting stage. Would thoroughly recommend.

Practically perfect in every way. Conscientious, knowledgeable, friendly staff give you undivided attention with high quality products.

Both my daughter and I receive optical care from the team at Swindon.

The entirety of the team are welcoming, professional and knowledgeable, with attention to detail applied at all stages of the process. Every optician we have seen have been thorough and informative.

I would like to thank Murry Rayburn who has taken the time to go the extra mile to assist my daughter, without any extra cost, and to Kate who is always friendly and happy to help.

Had an appointment today for hearing problems and what a gem of a gentleman Adam Cleverly is, he is obviously well trained and knowledgable in his field. If i need any further eye or hearing issues in the future I will definitely choose Leighton’s. I am a review phobic, i expect excellent service by choice but todays appointment has inspired this review. I am a convert!

Ease of booking an appointment, and quality service/attention for both the optician and hearing care.

My problem was not resolved…explanation and advice was poor…appointment took only 15 mins

Hearing in left ear was restored by flushing out the wax accumulation.

Brilliant service. Everything very clearly explained and then hearing test was very thorough. Felt very confident with the solution.

Im so pleased with the service at Leightons , both in the optician and hearing department.

Kate in fitting of the glasses is so full of helpful information , advice and knowledge. She has been so patient in helping me adjust to varivocals. Due to my age I had to use varivocals, I gave up the first time. Yet with Kate's knowledge and patience, I tried again.
If you have to wear varivocals please keep trying there really not nice to begin with yet once you hit the two week marker they gradually get better. When you hit the 4 week marker, I only notice them now when I get tired. The benefits of being able to see the car dials , distance and not having to swap between readers and normal glasses is so much better. Thanks to Kate I kept going with them this time. I also have swapped my sunglasses to varivocals now. Hopefully we will get sun soon and I can try them out as well.

I also want to leave a review for Adam. He is so kind, patient and reassuring in regards to ear wax removal. He takes his time reassures you , explains everything as he works on you. I couldn't ask for any better service.

In regards to Covid procedures the whole branch is amazing. From a very anxious, long covid sufferrer ,they have completely put me at my ease. They always book me in when the practice is quiet which is much appreciated. There cleanliness is amazing, Lauren wipes door handles and chairs after someone has used them. So do the other staff.
They all use masks, aprons, face Shields and hand gel.

The reception team, Lauren and Wendy are very kind as well.

I am so pleased with the continued support and service I receive from the whole team at Swindon branch.

Excellent friendly and professional service, from the eye sight test, fitting the new lenses and making slight adjustments to the frames.
I was very concerned about reusing a pair of my own frames. As a recent previous experience with another local optician had left me with a pair of broken frames, and very poor service when trying to get them grudgingly to repair them. But this left them in a fragile state and now could not be reused. So Leightons handled my other frames with great care and guaranteed to replace them if they broke them with a value of up to approx. £150 and no extra costs to add new lenses. As they have a reputation of never breaking anyone's glasses, this was true of mine.
I would highly recommend other spectacle wearers to use Leightons opticians.

Great opticians with really helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring staff. I felt very welcome and taken care of despite all the extra Covid guidance they're now having to follow - will definitely be back.

Friendly, professional, knowledgeable…

excellent optician..he was professional ..however it all went downhill..I wanted my wife to help me choose my new glasses x2 and was advised an appointment was required..sounds easy yes...no...only had 9am...which isn't convenient..attended the store to discuss...RUDE receptionist advised we need to call to arrange ..we are stood outside the door can you book for us..after explaining we just needed to see the glasses not to order this could be done once my wife confirmed my choice...the receptionist was unhelpful, rude, unapproachable and is in serious need of customer service and sales training, as business owners we understand the covid 19 regulations , 2 other people seated at distance in the shop alone, we took the prescription and will be purchasing 2!! pairs of glasses elsewhere.

I was pleased with every aspect of my appointment.
The customer service is excellent, everyone was very polite and helpful. From the initial booking and the follow up calls about triage and an appointment reminder.

I was booked in for an earwax removal appointment, but on finding no wax just a hearing test was carried out.
It was all well explained to me by the audiologist Adam and time was spent to go over my results at the end.
All of this was free of charge as no wax was found.

I also only had to wait one week to be seen.
I will definitely go back in the future if I need to.

I was very impressed with the hearing examination I received, every proceedure was fully explained and documented. I have had hearing examinations in the past but this is by far the most comprehensive.

I had an appointment with Adam the Audiologist and was very impressed and pleased with the service at the Swindon Old Town branch of Leightons. He was very informative and explained the procedures and tests very clearly. Would recommend.

Adam was so patient, kind and professional.

I was very nervous about attending, I felt that all my concerns in regarding covid precautions were met.

Adam also explained the whole procedure of removing my ear wax, was extremely through and patient.
