The saga re the problem with our garage door is the ONLY negative vibe that my husband and I have re moving into Lifestyle St Leonards. We are both so happy to be part of this community - Great ambience throughout, wonderful 'fellow home owners' and very friendly management and staff!!! We love all the really good amenities at our disposal! We both would like to recommend this 'lifestyle' to all wanting to downsize!

I bought into StLeonards before a sod had been turned knowing it to be a small seaside community which I wanted but now there is another one being constructed next door and we are being asked to share facilities which I am not in favour of. There has been planter boxes placed between the bowls and croquet rinks taking up valuable seating areas which have never been planted out. Complete waste of money. There has been a TV installed in the activity room which has never been switched on. A complete waste of money. These are just some things that I have noticed, there could be a lot more and especially when our fees were increased by a whopping 6.6%.

Very difficult to obtain a response to a request for attention to our heating system.
I made an appointment with the manufacturer check out our system.
Also I raised an issue with management about a drain from the cool air system that runs onto a paved area.
So far there has been no response.

The facilities are ALL FIRST CLASS, RECIDENTS ALL HAPPY AND WELCOMING. OUR NEW HOME IS JUST WONDERFUL.

From the very first meeting we had with Mel Wright at Deanside we were impressed with the level of organisation, transparency, just tell it like it is approach, willingness to adapt to all possibilities and understanding to what a life changing experience downsizing can be. Add to that the quality, cleanliness, and general amenities and feeling of the buildings and friendly"vibe" of the place. From that first meeting to our eventual moving into Deanside we experienced nothing but friendliness, efficiency, willingness to adapt to our particular circumstances and assistance to help our move go as smoothly at possible. The extra little surprises on moving in day made it so special and as we gradually join into all Deanside has to offer homeowners, we are loving it.

We put our deposit on our home in January 2022. We were excited to be moving into a Lifestyle community and enjoying our later years relaxing and making new friends, trouble free. We were told we would be moving into our home in December 2022 and we were excited. We sold our home and rented accomodation in anticipation. Now it is July 2023 and we are still waiting for our home to be finalised (3 monthly items to be resolved) We are still do waiting patiently for a number of the attractions that bought us to Meridian e.g solar power 50% less power bills, mens shed, library, car wash etc.
We did not expect to be moving into a building site. our home is opposite the centre so there has been a lot of upheaval, noise, dust, inconvenience - not what we were expecting from your advertising advertising. We are not unreasonable people and understand that delays can happen (and did happen) but there is no communication here and if someone had just knocked on our door or phoned us to acknowledge that there are issues it would have been greatly appreciated and made us feel as though we were not being ignored. The initial settling in was awful Opticom was a real issue and no one wanted to help we were not alone with this issue and it is hard to believe that after so many residents were already in the village enjoying wi-fi reception no one could have found an answer for us. We do think that when everything settles down and is completed this village will be a great place to live, but this part of the village has been rushed and that is obvious in so many ways, tiles falling off the pool and discolouration in the spa, dressing rooms out of order, landscaping below expectations in some areas (not all). Homes with insulation problems, paint issues, poor workmanship real no care attitude. Lack of communication and acknowledgement of the difficulty we have had to accept is our biggest concern.

There are numerous activities for homeowners, together with social events and the occasional information sessions which make for lots of variety. The managers are very helpful and cheerful and are keen to be of assistance. The homeowners love it at Lifestyle St Leonards.

We love the set up, The facilities are well thought out and presented, and if another idea is presented within reason its taken up. The lifestyle managers are very helpful and encouraging. Our dealings with TD homes when we required a number of things fixed was no problem.

We love living in Lifestyle Brookfield.
We've been here for 15 months, and give credit to our managers Kaye and Mark, who keep the place running smooth and doing everything they can to make our experience as good as it can be.
Our only slight problem is that things promised by head office seem to take quite some time to be put into practice, e.g. change to street signs.

Great social activities, great facilities including bowling green, pools, spa, gym. We regularity use the car and bus. The club house is fantastic and a great place to catch up with friends at social events.

I love our new home here and our neighbours are very friendly. The clubhouse activities are enjoyable and give us the space to meet and get to know more people. I think some furniture needs updating with some thought given to ease of moving things like the chairs. They are quite heavy and awkward to move. And I’d like to have managers that are able to stay on with us for longer periods of time, before they need to move.

I have been residing at Lifestyle Meridian for just over 3 months and have been working full time up until 2 weeks ago. During this time I found it difficult to engage with residents and staff because of my work hours. I was not provided with any information as to when to put my rubbish bins out, amongst other things. Communication is a common complaint with most organisations and I realise that this is a new community with teething. I wonder if we can add to the information booklet regarding the rubbish bins, attaching anything to a fence or the distance from the fence to construct a screen and I believe there are pool hours for children. Thank you for this opportunity to offer my suggestions.
