I have battled my weight my entire life and could write a book on dieting and healthy eating. This is not the problem though. The reasons why I over eat are complex and over whelming and the outcome is defeat and complete loss of control. For the first time ever, my mentor helps me navigate these issues and is actively changing my thinking about food. It’s as if a light has been switched on and it’s so much more than weight loss. The food packs make up the diet but are only part of this programme. The first week is not for the faint hearted but once you go into ketosis, your hunger is minimal. Sometimes I have to remind myself to eat. For the first time ever, I feel in control, inspired and determined to succeed. The weight falls off and I feel amazing. My mentor and this programme has been life changing. I wasn’t sure if I could do this in the beginning but if I can, anyone can. Throw yourself into the whole programme though, change your whole approach to eating and don’t look back.

I hae been a loyal customer for over 22 years on and off and have never experienced this before: On my last order I was not told my items were out of stock and would be substituted for something that I did not order. Very bad customer relations after so long. I am now left with £39 worth of products that I will not use as I don't like that flavour.
We set up an 8 week plan and unfortunately half way through I was made redundant. These plans are very expensive as it is, and some of the meals are vile, but we wanted to lose the weight so decided to stick with it. We called Ligherlife and explained our situation and was told we had to pay almost £80 to cancel our further orders! So not only is the plan overpriced but they also rip you off during difficult times should you have times of hardship! What a rip off this is and cannot recommend enough you look elsewhere or simply diet before signing up to Lighterlife!!
Thank you Lighter Life for saving my life. After nearly 10+ stones of loss I am better in my health. When doctors said I could never walk again because of my spinal compression I wanted to give up with life. Lighter Life has given me a new lease of life. The staff at head office are amazing, from the ordering service (Tracey) and customer service staff have always gone above and beyond, have the time to listen, talk to you and are very caring. My mentor Tony Fasulo is exceptional and very supportive. I can’t thank you all enough.
The diet simply works. Lost 6 stone in exactly 6 months. The foodpacks are very expensive, and some are utter vile. You have to find the ones you like and stick with them. It's a programme to help you lose weight and not feeling hungry during the duration. Mentors are good, but I changed my original owing to them being lazy. I would recommend this diet. 3 stars due to 1) expensive & 2) limited choice of foodpacks.
Sorry to say that I have not enjoyed trying this diet. May work for some but I miss real food. Expensive mistake.
So I'm in 2 minds about LighterLife, so here are the positives and negatives:
+ It does what it says, I lost 1.5kg every week of being on it and it was easy to do and I wasn't hungry at all (after the initial phase of about 2-3 days)
+ I expected the food to be a lot worse, most of it doesn't taste that bad, just need to add a bit of salt or tabasco
+ My mentor was amazing, very supportive
- The food ingredients are super unhealthy. As someone who is very conscious about what I put in my mouth, this was very important to me. There was dairy in EVERYTHING and it made me bloated and gassy after every meal. After 2 weeks my body started rejecting the food because I was just not used to that much processed junk. Thankfully I only needed to lose 3 kgs, I wouldn't have been able to go much longer.
- Some of the meals are totally vile, like the shepherds pie, and if you order a taster box you cant pick what you want in there

I try to be mentor after checking the reviews I decided my name is better brand than LighterLife. Very unprofessional customer service and the product is a scam.
I don't buy or promote the product. That will spoil my name. Product doest work as they advertised. Superdrug srop selling due to high bad reviews. No one invest to sell in the stores.
Omg! The Porridge Fast pot…..What a game changer! This is now my go to for breakfast, it tastes amazing and so easy to prep…. I don’t know why I waited so long to try it….shame it’s not on the subscription though ☹️
Since when was shepherds pie so hot (chilli hot) that it burns your mouth!!!!! (Spaghetti also ridiculously spicy!!)
I was dealing with lighter life Ireland for approximately one month
Having failed to get some bars delivered by post whilst awaiting my order
A week later I ordered my weeks supply however the order was not complete spoke with Katrina who informed me she did not put on the order. So I said ok il order then she informed me out of stock. So I decided order something else. She then informed me I wd have to order enough to the value of 60 euro. I closed the line and emailed her next morning of my concerns. She replied by saying find another supplier
The company only wants money no mentors no flexibility and to leave a customer stranded with no supply in ketosis shows a complete lack of psychology as customer already on restricted calories and lack of supply did she think I would be beaming with joy
It was a waste of money dealing with lighter life based on being abandoned in ketosis when it was their fault
I waited 10 days for a reply from uk which was from Alicia in enquiries with still the same lack of Concern for the situation
I am now writing to the owner of the company
Money money only seems to be the only concern
Had she simply apologised for the mistake and for no supply available may not have gone this far

I'm just in week two of the Lighterlife diet and had a great first week loss. I successfully did the diet several years ago, and kept the weight off many years but I went back into bad habits when going through very difficult and challenging experience. So, having got to the stage where I want to take control of my eating habits again I have returned to Lighterlife. I have a lovely mentor who holds weekly zoom meetings and is available through WhatsApp, text or phone calls. There are some food packs I don't enjoy, but there are many I do, so I feel I have a good selection to choose from. I really love that I can go online and change my subscription up to about a day before the next payment is due to be made. This has meant I can swap things around and remove new items I've tried and don't like, or even add more if I do, so this is great!
Today I had a call from Customer Services to say one of my items due to be sent out in the next few days or so is out of stock and they wanted to check what I would like to replace it with. I hadn't expected this because the T&C say swaps may be made without notice. However, the Customer Service lady said occasionally they don't manage to reach a person but they always try. So I am really pleased with this.
My only issue with the Lighterlife diet, which I reported in the call and asked to be passed on to the correct department, is that there is only one bar that doesn't have chocolate on. Chocolate is a trigger for me so this is not helpful and I'm already bored of having the peanut bar. It's not thick chocolate on the bars, but I would prefer to have none so I don't have the taste as I come off the diet later. They used to do a cranberry with yogurt and a lemon bar when I did it before, so I've asked if there's any possibility of bring those back because they suited me very well.
Other than the bars, the only other thing I wish they would do again is have more than one flavour of drink in the tubs. Currently, there is just the Fruits of the Forest in a tub and then the orange or pink grapefruit which are available in sachets and work out much more expensive. It's not like the sachets are useful for when you're out and about and want to drop a bit of flavour in a bottle of water because they contain enough powder for two litres.
I’d just like to say how ‘Sam’ in customer service is a true diamond to the lighterlife business.. I’ve only just started my journey & even though I have a mentor Sam has been my go to lady- I’ve phoned 3 times anxious over needing information regarding packs, how to re-order & my subscription, each time Sam has being friendly, informative & most of all supportive-I can honestly say that without her help & advice I may have all ready faulted on my journey. A huge Thankyou to Sam & I hope the company recognise her attributes to the company.
I had a slight issue with ordering and I couldn’t have asked for better service in sorting the issue out. I spoke to Sam, and she called back when she said she would, and chased things up the following day. Excellent service, thank you very much.
I've usually failed at dieting in the past. I was able to lose 3st 11 lbs with Lighter Life in just over 4 months and reached goal weight. I felt well throughout the process. It has changed my life and health for the better - no more joint pain or indigestion.
They give us everything we need to succeed including group sessions to talk about triggers and overcoming them. Setting us up for lifetime success. The food packs give us the reality of what a normal food portion should be so over time I have come to understand (and admit) that I was overeating. The variety of food to chose from is incredible and the flavours are outstanding. The support groups are exactly that - supportive! Signing up with a mentor is a game changer. My only comment (and loss of a star) is that the savoury packs are too salty for my taste (perhaps because I never cooked with salt before). Honestly give it a try. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Great products, would definitely recommend the LighterLife programme. The foodpacks taste great and they're full of nutrition. The customer service was excellent and all my questions were answered. Having a Mentor to support my journey was invaluable in helping me change my mindset.
The products are awful. They taste so powdery and really taste of nothing.
As for cancelling the subscription, we’ll that’s a nightmare. I have an email confirmation to say they’ll cancel but I have to pay a fee the. They don’t put the cancellation through and you end up with another subscription box and have been charged again. They won’t refund until they’ve received the unopened box so know I’m Left out of pocket all because they can’t do their job properly.
There are much better MRPs out there and infact, they are cheaper in the long run than LL and their products taste great. Stick with what you know as now 300 quid out of pocket And still awaiting cancellation and refund.
It’s over 10 years since i first benefitted from adopting Lighter Life packs and at that point inline ordering wasn’t an option. A decade or so on, it took only a few days to receive my order and a damaged pack was replaced within 24 hours. A mentor was in touch even before my order was delivered, however having used the products before i know they work (and how) and am confident i will be back to and able to maintain a healthy weight over the next few months.
