We initially had a bad experience with our bed order. The initial delivery service said they didn’t have enough time to assemble the bed and we were delivered two mismatched bases.
This was eventually resolved and the second delivery crew direct from Loaf were excellent ( Ben and Kayman)

This company is hopeless, ordered a bed 6 months ago , said it would be six weeks , delivered it damaged , delivery drivers took a lump out of hall wall , bed had hand prints all over and huge split on headboard . Same again with next two . Avoid

Tia spent a lot of time showing us sofas to our specifications. She knows the range very well, so was able to answer all our questions off the cuff. She could not have been more helpful.
Later, we did have some annoying problems setting up the finance plan, but that was a glitch in the finance provider's software, not Loaf's.

It was very easy to order. Handled well. I haven’t got the chair yet so it’s difficult to give a full account.

We had a very successful visit to Loaf Bristol this morning. The Loafer who guided us through all the options was well informed, knowledgeable and very helpful.

We bought a sofa at the end of last year and were very happy with it on arrival. I even provided a 5 star review.
Within 3 months the sofa had dramatically faded. After many months of arguing that the fabric is not fit for purpose Loaf have declined to do anything about it. We spent £2500 on a sofa that looked nice for 3 months. They explained that ALL sofas will fade if in a room with a window and so if you intend to buy a sofa for a room with a window I wouldn’t bother!

Staff were very helpful. The store was inviting and a pleasure to look around. One sofa we would have liked to have seen wasn't in store but that did not detract too much from the overall very positive experience. We went with one sofa in mind but ended up ordering one we had not considered as we found it to be a better fit for our room.

We purchased a Loaf Smithy sofa in March 2026 and reported an issue within just four months of delivery. From day one, the seat cushions continually moved and slipped out of position during normal use, making the sofa uncomfortable and requiring constant adjustment.
What has been most disappointing is not simply the issue itself, but Loaf's handling of the complaint. The explanation for rejecting our claim changed several times. Initially we were told the problem was due to "wear and tear", despite the sofa being only four months old and lightly used. We were then told the issue was caused by the way scatter cushions were being used, even though the problem occurs regardless of whether scatter cushions are used. Finally, Loaf's position became that the issue was due to the "natural settlement" of the feather and fibre fillings.
Despite repeatedly asking how natural settlement of cushion fillings could cause the cushions themselves to slip and move excessively during normal use, no satisfactory explanation or evidence was provided.
Loaf arranged an independent technician visit, but the conclusions relayed to us in writing did not appear consistent with what was discussed during the inspection. The company has ultimately refused to offer any remedy and has directed us to The Furniture Ombudsman.
I appreciate that furniture can have characteristics associated with its design and fillings, but I would have expected a sofa costing this amount to remain comfortable and functional without constant adjustment after only a few months. More importantly, I would have expected a clearer and more consistent approach to customer service when concerns were raised.
Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Loaf and have now referred the matter to The Furniture Ombudsman for independent review.

Ordered a mattress at the start of Sept. Not in stock but web site and customer service said…. “ Delivering from 1st week in Sept”. As it turns out, delivery is likely to be late October.

Great website - really clear to look at the different options visually and wonderful to have all colours and materials for all sofas. We ordered online but we did go to a store to sit on the sofas which was essential for us. The store was incredibly good! They had all the samples, you could sit on all the sofas, it was dog friendly and they gave us treats (and our dog). The staff were helpful but also left us in peace. Highly recommended. The sofas were just much better than all the others we've tried (and we've sat on many!)
