High quality car and helpful staff
We appreciated the quality of the car, which was new and clean. The service was helpful regarding the set up of the GPS and explained well how it worked. The booking process was relatively simple and easy to understand.

We rented a small car at Bari airport on Tuesday. On Saturday, it started showing signs of trouble; warning lights came on. We emailed them to let them know. No response! On Sunday, a "caution" light came on. We were lucky to get back to our hotel and receive invaluable help from the staff who found us the best solution (for an hour and a half!!!! on several phone lines!). We had to take a taxi to find another car, which we paid for. In short, NEVER AGAIN, and absolutely no help, no compensation whatsoever.

Car cleanliness, safety, car seat
1) Car cleanliness: it was dirty with packaging inside and smelled a lot of tobacco. 2) Comfort: the brakes always squeaked, and immeditaly noticed there was a broken rear seatbelt. 3) Pickup: I received a message for quick check-in days before, which was completed and confirmed via email. There was no one at the quick drop-off location, so I returned to the airport check-in counter, do a new check-in, and pick up the car seat myself, and walk another 500m to pick it up together with luggage!

Great service, but not car I booked
The actual car hire went well and was conveniently located near the airport terminal. However, we booked a VW Polo and got a Fiat 600. The Fiat then showed an oil warning light for the entire time we had it. Mentioned this to the Locauto staff but the didn’t seem concerned!
