We took the car and the same day later…
We had a 3-days vacation in Bari. So after arriving in airport we took a car at the airport brunch. Chat GBT recommended us Locauto as we had a very bad experience with Avis before. The same day later we heard some metallic noise from the front wheels. When we back to the airport brunch they checked the car and immediately changed it as it was too dangerous to drive it. Really appreciate this as I was with my family and my parents. 💪🤞🏼🙏🏼

She was little quick regarding offers and not letting to much space for choosing.
Maybe was morning ???
Meantime even a price for two days with manual gear box car, wasn’t so good.

Rented at 3 airports in Italy in September.
Staff at Bari terminal desk v. good. but young man at pick-up was disinterested, rolled his eyes, pretty much threw the keys at us and rushed off. However, on return, service with another man was outstanding.
Pick-up in carpark at Palermo was rather chaotic as v. busy but staff were cheerful + coped well. We were upgraded to a larger car.
Young lady at Reggio Calabria was outstanding both at pick-up and return.
All cars were in excellent condition and no issues.

Quick and easy handover and return process and no hard sell for their own insurance; breakdown cover was extra, but luckily did not have to use. Car could have been cleaner inside and out, as having used both Trieste and Bari branches, Trieste was by far the best for that, but one rental was at the start of the season and the other the end, so Bari car had sustained dents and scratches from other drivers.

Never rent from these crooks!
2 weeks after returning home from our trip, we were contacted to fill out a form indicating that no accident had taken place during our rental. We did so. They then charged our credit card over $400 CDN as an administrative fee, and have stopped responding to all communication. It’s a typical scam, and shocking that they can get away with it. There was no accident, they didn’t even do a walk around the vehicle before we left the office. I would never recommend this place, it’s a scam.
