Everything went easy and smoothly
Everything went easy and smoothly. Pickup is easy, dropoff is even easier, just look for signs for rentalcar parking at the entrance to the airport.
For sure we will rent more in the future

It was easy and a great price
It was easy and a great price. I couldn't have asked for an easier rental situation during my stay in Italy. I even returned it to a different city and it was no problem at all. I would highly recommend and I'll be using them again during my next trip.

Probably the best car rental company in Italy
Enza in the front desk was very helpful and cheerful. We were glad to be served by her. Likewise the technician, Savadora (I hope got his name right) that served us when receiving and including returning car was very professional and helpful. We rented twice and very satisfied with Bologna Centrale Locauto branch. In the future, if I need car in Bologna, I’ll still go back to them.

The car that I booked was not the one…
The car that I booked was not the one that I received. The inside from the side of the driver was dirty as well as the front window. I booked a car for 3 days and paid 110€ and while I asked for 1 day more, the price was 65€/per day. No possibility to do it online, which is really uncomfortable since I was driving and had to call the office and they started to ask car plate, name and credit card info. While I was receiving the car, the lady offered me to book full insurance even tho I booked it already through a second party. Not excited at all with the services.

Could have been much better
The reservation process on line was a bit complicated. The calendar did not allow for the dates I needed. After several tries I was able to do it. The pick up location left a lot to be desired. There was just one person at the counter and it took for ever. After that we had to go to a separate location to retreive the car. Something similar happened when we returned it. The office is in a different location from the garage which makes things compolicated for us: what do you do first? You go to the office? Where do you leave the car in the meanwhile. In general, LOCAUTO should review its processes ro make them more practical and expedite for the clients
