Easy pickup and dropp-off
It was overall a good experience. Nice car as well. One thing. The paperwork at the office, you can easily digitalise. Its not necessary to fill out adress details and where you are going to stay. Do that step online and just sign at the office desk.

Smooth hire and no fraudulent charges at the end for non existent damage. A major thing when reading reviews for italian hire cars in general. The clerk could've been a bit nicer to us when we were at the desk and realized all our cards and the money on them had been stolen on the airport tram ride.

Good rental for cross border travel
I went with Locauto because it's one of the few companies that allow travel between all the EU countries. The car I got was great for highway driving. The staff was accommodating. I paid more than I typically would for a car rental, but it was worth the hassle free experience and peace of mind.

Good car, friendly and professional staff at counter and at pick up & delivery of car at parking.
But once again smart check in was not working or possible and
only 1 employee at counter so about
15/20 minutes waiting time for nothing !

From booking through Booking.com to…
From booking through Booking.com to picking up and returning the car, everything was 10/10. There was no waiting time when we arrived to collect the car, and from arrival until the car was ready, it only took 15 minutes. The service was excellent, with no stress and no queues.
A big plus was that no deposit was required. We also received a brand-new car. When we returned the car, we were greeted immediately, and the handover was quick and smooth.
Highly recommended! 👍

Excellent experience from start to finish. The pickup location was easy to find, the instructions were clear, and the car was clean and exactly as expected. Customer service was fantastic, both at the desk and when collecting the vehicle. Everything was smooth, quick, and hassle-free with no fuss or faff.
