The staff were very helpful and friendly. Both check in and check out was surprisingly fast, especially considering that I had an accident during the trip that they needed to review, which really only took a few minutes. Glad I bought the Smart Insurance Coverage.

Car was in bad condition
The car was not in good condition when I got it.
Tire pressure was a lot under the manufacture recommendation. The Adblue was almost empty and I had to fill it up. After 200km of driving the check engine light went on and when I called the office in la spezia they told me to ignore it. The car makes weird smell on the beginning of the drive.
And also the car was not clean and under the chairs there were tons of trash including what was looking like bottles full of piss.
Luckily everything worked and the car didn't break down but all the time I had a feeling this car is very badly maintained.

It would be a great idea to inform properly the client on how different systems fonction in the car. A quick review on different system would be nice on a unfamiliar car. We were not able to make the air conditioning in use. i've tried to reach the service and only an automatic answer telling me that i would receive a real answer before 14-15 days! It was hot... For the rest, the car was OK except that it was not clean.

Locatuo did everything well enough
Locatuo did everything well enough. The La Spezia team was great. The van was a manual. We booked an automatic. The van was also a tired Nissan - dirty and unkept. It performed well enough for the two weeks we had it. We were expecting a newer VW Caravelle (automatic).
