Great car
Great car, helpful people at the desk.
One remark. I want to hire the car for 2 days longer. Cause of my flight was canceled. The good news was it was possible. Only thing is I payed 150 euro for this 2 days. Now I rent a car by another company for 230 euro for 11 days. If the rate for 2 days were equal than I payed before I booked my new car or the same car by Locauto.

Although it took a while to process us when we picked up the car due to computer issues the staff were very helpful and courteous. The car performed wonderfully as well.

Renting in Italy
Being in a foreign country is stressful when renting a car. These guys were great, made it easy and even when I changed my drop off location it was no problem. Check in and check out was easy.

I book by phone asking for a high-level…
I book by phone asking for a high-level car but upon delivery I am given a vehicle that does not correspond at all to what is requested. When I try to explain the misunderstanding to the boy, adding that for the future I am expecting the level of the car I requested, the boy replies unabashedly, suggesting that he does not want to continue to enter into new rental contracts.

Managed to collect the car early due to change of plans with no trouble but the car was dirty inside and out!
Had to clean all the glass so I could safely drive but otherwise very happy!

The rental was easy to arrange and the staff at the office was helpful since they spoke more English than I speak Italian. I opted for a car with an automatic transmission since I knew there would be steep hills at at least one location I was driving to. At that location I was parked facing up a steep incline and when it was time to leave it was apparent the transmission was slipping because the car wouldn't go forward, it kept sliding backwards. We had to find the guy parked behind us and get him to move his car so I wouldn't slide into him. Fortunately I was able to back down the hill and the driveway flattened out so I could go on my way. I was able to use the car for the next day without incident. I told the three people at the office when I returned the car what happened but I'm not sure they understood what "transmission slipping" meant.
