Great service, simple and affordable

Just the ease of renting and the quality of the car/fleet. Staff at rental were friendly (at pick up not so much) and return was easy.

First time with Locauto. I found them to be really, really good. We were upgraded to nicer, bigger car free of charge. The staff were really clear communicators and they weren't trying to upsell which is common with a lot of car rentals.

I'd definitely use them again.

The price for the car was good. I got upgraded and a bigger car for the same price. The staff in the office was helpful and polite. The only negative was that the staff at the car park did not show me the car and did not explain all its characteristics.

I did the online check in and within 2 minutes I had my car and drove to my destination. When I returned it the same. It took me 2 minutes and everything was arranged. Car was good too. So good experience

all went totally fine, I grew used to being charged for some made up or hilariously small damage when renting cars and usually don't rent any more for this reason - this time all went without problems, appreciated!
Sorry, addition to avoid misunderstandings: this was the first time I rented from locauto, my experiences were generally renting cars from virtually any car rental company. I’ve never had a bad experience with Locauto so far, after havin rented there only once.

Our experience was quite disappointing. We arrived slightly early for collection and the car wasn't ready. When we returned at our exact booking time (16:00), we were told our vehicle wasn't available and there would be a delay. While the desk attendant was helpful and managed to source an alternative car, this caused a 30-minute delay.

Unfortunately, the car we received—as well as the child seats we had pre-booked—had not been properly cleaned. Furthermore, the attendant asked me to sign the paperwork without doing a vehicle inspection together. Thankfully, I checked the car myself and took photos before leaving; I discovered a very large scratch on the front bumper that was not listed on the agreement. To top it off, the fuel tank was not full upon pickup.

Absolutely amazing experience. Got a car from Milan Linate airport, as it had the best prices, and best they were indeed. Got everything, a lovely modern automatic car with everything you'd ever need, also spacious, plus some good special additional insurance that covered me up to a very decent amount in case I would have damaged the car myself plus a tomograph. The overall price was absolutely excellent, the staff was great and professional and friendly. And all these while they don't take deposit either 😭

Really you can't beat them. I'll go with Locauto every single time I'll visit Italy. Highly recommend ❤️

I am always pleased to rent from them the only thing that bothers me that when you go on their website to rent the price is 2x over from others. So instead of booking directly from them I am booking from other sites with full insurance. If they reduce the insurance and compare it from other sites I thing it would be better.
