Everything works great every time: never had any complaints about Locauto, and it's my preferred rental in Italy. I will definitely use it again.

Everything went perfectly. Both the pickup and the return were handled quickly and professionally. The vehicle was handed over clean; we were pointed out a piece of damage (a scratch) on the front right, which was documented and thus caused no further issues.

The car was not as requested, due to limitations with the stock, it was also dirty inside and needed a further valet before we were prepared to sit in it.

It was also a very uncomfortable car (Peugeout, seat and lumbar support very hard with no adjustment and left leg was constantly clashing with door handle making my knee painful). I had ordered/requested a Volkswagon, which i had lasr year and was very comfortable.

Also the tracking and balacing were out on the vehicle, causing it to pull to the left and also a loud knocking noise on the left side going over the smallest bump, which sounded like an internal ball joint issue.

All round a poor vehicle which was also a very expensive hire.

Staff were nice enough, but due to vehicle limitations, their help was very restricted.

I was supposed to pick up the car at 11:00, but I picked it up an hour late. A plus was that I got a superior car for the same price. I had car body coverage for the car, which cost 158 ​​euros for 11 days.

Easy check in at Naples airport, no pushy sales scaring you into getting additional insurance. Once I had told Marco I had insurance with a broker, he accepted it. Explained all I needed to know about the car and how to get to it. Drop off easy, the young man checked the car over and wasn't actively looking to find issues with.

We choose Locauto as they are part of Enterprise who we use in the UK. Their price was only slightly more than the budget companies with much lower scores. The car was as described & all existing dents/scrapes were identified. Upon return, the process was easy. The check out was quick (admittedly no issues with damage) & the staff member was lovely. A good experience & would rent from them again.
