We was happy to rent a car in your company, people are very friendly,easy to take and easy to give back, need only 5 mn very quickly, the car was new only 28 km. The staff explain us very well the condition for the insurance,

making extra money on tourists

The day we returned the car early in the morning we dropped the car and e the key in a box so there was no examination together.
We received an invoice for the fuel and the service of the refuelling, 77 euro.
But we are sure the car was totaly full.
We had completely refuelled the car, just before the airport/drop off.
The car only had 3 stripes (of the 4) when we picked up the car. But we forgot to make a picture of it.

It's a way of making extra money on tourists.

Wonderful little car

Wonderful little car. Better to have a small competitively priced car in Italy. The car was very reliable, interior was clean and low mileage. The outside could've been a bit cleaner but it's a minor.

Worst Experience ever

I had a tire puncture during my trip, so I swapped the car midway. Before driving, I took extensive photos and videos of the vehicle's condition, and a staff member and I mutually confirmed the pre-existing scratches on the rear of the car before rental.
After returning the vehicle, they sent an invoice for the exact rear scratches we had already confirmed. Before I could even dispute it properly, they went ahead and charged my card without my consent. I have sent multiple emails with bulletproof evidence (before/after videos and pickup photos), but they are completely ignoring me and refusing to reply. They were incredibly fast at stealing my money, but they are completely silent when it comes to customer service and disputes.
Furthermore, I asked for the invoice regarding the tire puncture so I could settle it quickly. They keep saying it is "under process" and have given no answers for over two weeks. I pulled over immediately when the puncture happened. There is no reason for a simple tire repair to take two weeks, which makes me highly suspect they are trying to bundle other mechanical issues and pin them on me.
They are maliciously targeting uninsured foreign tourists to rip them off. Do not rent from here unless you want your money stolen and your emails ignored. Absolutely the worst experience ever.
I will fight until the very end to get my money fully refunded. Furthermore, I will spread the word about this experience as far and wide as possible across every platform to warn other travelers

Avoid this company if you can.

Very bad experience with the Locauto office at Naples Airport. We rented a car on May 2, 2026 and returned it in Brindisi on May 10, 2026.
At pickup, the employee barely inspected the vehicle and only quickly showed us a damage report on an iPad. We had to point out several existing damages ourselves because they had not been properly recorded. The employee promised that we would receive an email with the complete inspection report, but we never received anything.
After returning the vehicle, we were suddenly charged for damage to a mirror that was already present before we picked up the car and that their staff failed to record correctly.
This honestly feels like a dishonest way of trying to charge customers for pre-existing damage. The inspection process was careless, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
I absolutely do not recommend this company. If you rent from them, take detailed photos and videos of every part of the car before leaving the parking lot, because the documentation process cannot be trusted.

Good experience

No surprises, great car, very new, not the same as booked but very similar. 24 hour return option (office is closed at night but you can drop of the keys in a box). Shuttle service from airport to carpark and vice versa (it's walkable though, ± 1km). Friendly service at the pick-up location.

Great experience.

Great experience.
I rented directly from the Locauto website a Peugeot 208 GT with Don't Worry insurance and completed the Smart Check-in online, so we didn't have to wait at the counter. We went straight to the parking lot where we signed the pickup paperwork in a few minutes and received the key. They showed us where the key drop box is for after-hours check-out. We received a brand new, clean car with only 2,300 km on the odometer.
