On arrival in Napoli, the car pound was easy to find and the transfer of the car to us was dealt with efficiently.
The car was clean and in a good contion.
A similar level of service was received on our return.
Having made our way to the airport and just passing through the boarding gate, my wife decided to phone our sons to alert them to our impeding return, only to discover that she had left her mobile in the front of the car. On our return to England, I contacted Locauto - Napoli, where staff were able to retrieve the phone and kept in safe custody, until I attened and collected it 2 days later.

First time trying Locauto. It was an easy process and all went well with picking up the car. From Napoli Airport you need to take a shuttle bus which does take you to the car rental parking lot. There you get the keys for the car. This all, after you went to the office at the airport itself for the administration.

The car itself was fine. It already had some dents, but that seems to be very likely to happen when you drive in this area. As long as it's clear that they were there already, it's fine. And with returning the car it was acknowledged that those dents where there already before as filled in on the form. Bringing the car back was at the same place as the pickup. When you are on the highway to Napoli airport it was the second exit (it does show on the signs with Car Rental).

Overall good experience. And the people at Locauto were also friendly.

The service was uncomplicated. The car was a new model VW T-roc. It was a clean car, very good to drive.

Helped me out of a bad situation

I had a great experience with Locauto when renting a car in Naples. The paperwork and contract signing were completed at the airport, while the vehicle pickup was at their nearby rental facility. A shared shuttle bus took us there, and the whole transfer, including a short wait for the shuttle, took around 10 minutes, which was perfectly reasonable.

The pickup process itself was quick and straightforward. The car was practically brand new, with only around 6,000 km on the odometer, and it was in excellent mechanical condition.

There were a few minor scratches on the vehicle, but they had all been clearly documented in the inspection report provided before pickup, so everything was transparent from the start.

Returning the car was just as easy. The staff inspected the vehicle quickly, confirmed everything was in order, and the return process took only a few minutes.

I also appreciated that only €0.01 was charged to my credit card during the reservation process for verification, which gave me confidence that there would be no unexpected charges.

Overall, everything went perfectly. Professional service, a great car, and a smooth rental experience from start to finish. I would definitely rent from Locauto again.

Good price on a good vehicle that suited my needs. The drop off process was quick, efficient and painless. The pick up process was incredibly inefficient and took 2hrs due to 3 factors; wait time to get served; long time taken to process paperwork and sign the rental agreement; vehicle then not ready in the car lot.

Convienently close to the airport (good transfer service), easy paperwork and the most important: GOOD CAR (Audi A3 Sportback, ca 30 000 km, clean).

We first went to the office in the airport and then quickly got everything ready and then took the shuttle to the parking space location. After a few minutes we also got the car handed over from very nice staff.
The car Ford Puma was good and we liked it. It was also small enough for the Amalfi coast.
Bringing the car back was also very smooth. We would recommend Locauto.

Locauto Napoli staff did not have any photos of the car from the interior and now it is trying to charge me 430 euro for a missing boot shelve which was not there from the beginning.
