Good, however, the car drop off location agreed upon –and indicated in our contract– was closed when we arrived, so we had to drive to another Locauto location... would be nice if they checked their locations' closing hours before handing us the car. And the phone customer service was closed on a Saturday at 13h20, not opening before Monday. Not great for a car rental company which caters to tourists.

We received the car fairly quickly…
We received the car fairly quickly which was good. We should have checked over the car better but the car did not have a full tank of gas. When we returned it it we tried to fill it but the gas station near tge car rental was broken needless to say we were charged €60 for 1/4 tank of gas. People pay attention there is no taxi to take you to your train that will get you there on time. Return at least 2 hrs before yoyr train leaves

To clarify our refueling charge policy, our standard procedure is to provide the vehicle with a full tank. This was confirmed and shown to you during the pre-rental inspection before the rental agreement was signed.
In this case, as the vehicle was not returned with a full tank, a refueling service fee plus the cost of the missing liters was applied, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions: https://portale.locautorent.com/doc/specialrentalconditions.pdf.
Please note that we also offer a prepaid fuel option at the start of the rental, which allows you to pay for a full tank in advance and return the vehicle empty.

They made renting easy
They made renting easy. When we were delayed, they said no problem. When we needed to drop it outside of hours, no problem. No high pressure sales of add-on insurance. And the car was new and nice with a good price. I highly recommend.

Difficulty in parking lot
When I got in the car I started to back straight out with no turning of the wheel and the car was perfectly straight period but I did not realize was that there was a tree in the parking lot that actually clipped the rearview mirror. There was another car parked extremely close so they're really was little to no room to adjust for the tree being there. All it did was create a very small crack that was hardly visible to the inside plastic surrounding, mirror is 100% fully functional and you cannot even tell that it was damaged at all. However, since it was at the location and I told the service people about it they are charging me for a new mirror. My first question is why would anybody park a car that close to a tree where you cannot back straight out in a car rental parking lot? Besides that the service was good but it was very upsetting to start my two-week adventure
