The hire of the car was smooth and no problems returning the vehicle. I was asked if I wanted to take out no hassle insurance for eight days it was a bit pricey at 300 euros but I did accept it, something you might need to factor in.

Make sure you take your passport as proof of identity
the staff were very patient withus as we had forgotten to take our passports with us. We did however have them on our phones.

The Smart Check in was a tad clunky but once it was done, it made the car pick up very smooth. I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

Easy car hire
We hired our car in Italy. Car hire with locauto was friendly and efficient.
The car was excellent and extremely clean.
We had to change where we returned the car to, and this was done easily and without any issue.
Will definitely use this company again.

Everything no hidden surprises. was very smooth
Everything was very smooth. I hard a small scratch damage and the man inspecting the car on my return was able to give a cost for repair which I signed off on. It was very reasonable and no hidden surprises after. A very good experience all round.

Professional and friendly attitude and many troubles to left the car
We wait just ten minutes to retire the car. The information about the assurance and the car was adequate and friendly.
The experience to left the car in Bolonia airport was opposite. To find the parking and then the places of Locauto inside was difficult. Finally, the instructions to find the office were wrong. When we found it there was no time to check. A nightmare
