I try to use locauto rentals at Trapani airport. Have used them several times and not had a problem. Quick reliable and not pushy to buy more.

everything was fine - however I expect to find the car ready with everything - the fuel was not full - i understand that this is possible however it makes it very hard to return the car with the exact amount of fuel before departing when its not full - the wiper water was empty - i expect the car to be checked for such things before handed over to a new client!

We paid quite a bit more money to go with Locauto due to the reviews, but wished we hadn’t bothered.
Unhelpful staff, extra charges and no one was waiting when we returned the car, so had to go back to the car park after having checked in.

All the process was fast and simple.

We had a great experience with Locauto. Everything was simple, smooth, and exactly as it should be.

There was no pressure to buy additional insurance or any unnecessary extras, which we really appreciated. We simply arrived, picked up the car, used it, and returned it — no problems at all.

The cars are new and in excellent condition, and the whole process was quick and hassle-free.

Overall, a fantastic experience. We would definitely use Locauto again and highly recommend them!

The car was in great condition. The service was very helpful. I don't know about others, but the lady at the Trapani airport was very pleasant, helpful, and explained everything perfectly.

Friendly staff, easy check-in, and a hassle-free check-out if you choose full coverage. We received a brand-new car with only 2,000 km, and everything worked perfectly. Overall, it was a smooth and pleasant experience. I would happily rent from them again.

Overall, my experience with Locauto at Trapani Airport was acceptable, but there were several issues that should be improved.
First of all, the waiting time to collect the car was quite long. There was a big queue at the airport and only one person was serving customers, which made the pick-up process slow.
The car itself was generally okay, but I was not informed in advance that one of the knobs/buttons near the central screen and multimedia/radio system was damaged and not working properly. This should have been clearly mentioned before handing over the vehicle or included in the vehicle condition report.
I also had a problem paying for parking through the EasyPark app. It seemed that the car had some previous unpaid or unresolved charges connected to it, which prevented me from using the app correctly. I tried to contact the rental office to solve the issue, both by WhatsApp using the numbers provided in the rental documents and by email, but I did not receive any response.
The rental was generally okay, but customer support after collecting the car was disappointing. In case of a problem with the rented vehicle, customers should be able to contact the rental company quickly and receive assistance.

A very good rental agency; quick and simple formalities, and friendly, comprehensive service. So far, the best one I've used.

I really enjoy leaving reviews for places and companies that have made my trip better, and Locauto definitely deserves a thank you.

We booked our car through Booking.com, and everything went smoothly, exactly as expected. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive an almost brand-new vehicle with just over 9,000 km on the odometer. For me, this is always a sign of how a company treats its customers. The car was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for exploring Sicily.

I would especially like to thank the team for their flexibility. We asked if it would be possible to collect the car about two hours earlier than originally scheduled, and they immediately agreed. The only condition was returning it two hours earlier as well, which suited us perfectly. In reality, those extra two hours gave us more time to enjoy our holiday, and when you're on vacation, details like that really matter.

I would also like to mention the approach to additional insurance. It was offered to us, but never pushed or imposed. The staff calmly explained the options and left the decision entirely up to us. After hearing so many stories about aggressive upselling in car rental companies, this was especially refreshing.

The return process was just as quick and straightforward as the pick-up. Overall, we were left with the feeling that the company genuinely respects its customers' time and wants car rental to be a simple part of a great trip rather than an extra source of stress.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The car was clean, reliable, and exactly as described. Pickup and return were quick and hassle-free, and the staff were friendly and professional. We drove around western Sicily for two weeks without any issues. Highly recommended, and I would happily rent from them again.
