Good experience and smooth process
Rented car was a new one, I used the smart check-in from Locauto so the pickip proces was fast and efficient. The return went smoothly. For all problems expected and unexpected I chose their Dont worry protection. In any case Ihad some questions an online chat with thier agent helped to solve it

Easy check in
Easy check in. Car was according to description and staff was nice! In Trapani the car Park is a little far and there is no one to inspect the car in the end. You need to go to the Airport and then go to the Park again.

Very good with a fair price
Easy process, clean and very transparent. The retention value in credit card was zero and the car was the one the we reserved. Checkout also very straight forward. The price as also very good in comparation with other companies.

Easy to sort and the car was ready at the airport.
We used the car for 2 weeks and travelled approx 1000 kms - no issues at all.
The only observations that I would make are that the car wasn't the model we had requested (although the replacement was fine) and, as we had booked it in the UK, the agent was quite dismissive about the 'partner' we had used (no idea why). Personally I thought we had booked direct with Locauto but it turned out we hadn't.

I recently returned a rental car and…
I recently returned a rental car and would like to provide some feedback on my experience. When I dropped off the car, there was no one present to check it over. As a result, I had to go into the terminal to hand in the key at the desk.
When I asked if someone could check the car to ensure everything was in order, I was instructed to walk all the way back to the car with the key to find someone to perform the inspection. This process was inconvenient and time-consuming.
I hope this feedback is helpful and can lead to improvements in your return procedures for future customers.

Super service. Super effective.
Using Trapani Airport makes picking up your car easy, since it is so small. But still Locauto deserves credit for the service they present. We had a brand new car, only 500 k. It was clean and ready to go. On return we experienced the same good and kind service.

Everything was great except that we made the Smart online checkinn for nothing.
You have to go to the office, wait in a queue, they try to sell you another insurance and give again the credit card information, bla bla bla.
