I rented a car at Trieste Airport, and the whole experience was very smooth. The rental office is conveniently located right in the middle of the terminal, so it's impossible to miss. The staff were friendly, professional, and efficient; the entire check-out process took just a few minutes with no issues at all. The car itself was in excellent condition, practically like new. When returning it, I simply dropped off the keys, and that was that - quick and hassle-free. Overall, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone renting at Trieste Airport.

I booked a car with winter tyres specifically because I was travelling in winter conditions and wanted to avoid the risks and inconvenience of snow chains. Unfortunately, Locauto provided a vehicle fitted with all-season tyres instead, which do not perform as well as proper winter tyres in snowy and icy conditions.

Because of this, I was unable to drive safely on icy roads, which forced me to change my holiday plans, cancel pre-booked hotels, and make last-minute bookings in less desirable locations. This caused unnecessary stress and additional costs that could have been completely avoided had the booking been honoured.

What makes this even more disappointing is that the car cost almost twice as much as a standard rental, precisely because I paid extra for winter tyres to avoid this exact situation.

That said, I want to be fair: the car itself was in excellent condition, had low mileage, and drove perfectly. Both pickup and drop-off were seamless and efficient, with no issues at the desk.

Overall, while the vehicle quality and service process were good, failing to provide the correct tyres as booked is a serious issue, especially in winter conditions where safety is involved. I would strongly advise future customers to double-check tyre specifications before leaving the rental location, as this oversight had a significant negative impact on my trip. I only realised when I was around 200km away and in another country from the pickup location and it was too late in the night

- This car model is unsuitable for tall, inflexible people. Access very difficult

I am a regalar client with Locauto due to their service and professionalism, but unfortunately the car I was given was in very poor condition, all the interior seats we’re dirty beyond cleaning (stained).. and the exterior had numerous dents. Very dissapointed.

The service was excellent, the location is centrally located inside the airport, the instructions were easy to follow, and the staff were helpful.

The agent (assistant) helped us with all the questions, she suggested the best insurance for us and she was very honest. I totally recommend Locauto.

Great service on pick up with very pleasant staff. Good value and nice car, only issue was that on return, I had to ring to get someone to meet me in the car park, but after 10 minutes an agent came out to sign off the car and assure me that all was in order.
