This was the first time I rented a car abroad. I usually drive my own car. Renting from locauto was a surprise about how easy it is to rent a car. The staff at Trieste Airport were cordial, efficient and very helpful. They explained everything clearly. the car, although it was not the same model, was perfect, clean and was up to my expectation. returning the car was easy and the contract was concluded in a second. because they don't tell you how many liters of fuel the car has when you pick it up and ask for the last liter when you drop off the car. They just say it's full, but when you drop off the car they tell you to go and fill it up with 1 liter

Great experience with Locauto. It was quick to get the car and also quick to give it back. We recommand.

I rented a van with Locauto from Trieste Airport. I returned it with just one bar of fuel missing (around €10–15 worth). Instead of charging me for the fuel, they added more than €100 in costs – including a €35 “refueling service” fee and other surcharges.
I feel these charges are excessive and not made clear upfront. The rental itself was fine, but the final bill left me feeling cheated.
Be very careful to return the vehicle with a completely full tank and watch out for extra mileage charges.

I rented a car with Locauto for 12 days from their Trieste Airport branch and the experience was excellent from start to finish.
At pick-up, the staff were genuinely attentive. The verification and paperwork were quick, the explanations about the vehicle and rental terms were clear, and I had the keys in hand within minutes. I really value how easy it was to access the service without complications.

The return was just as smooth. The inspection of the vehicle was handled efficiently and with a friendly, fluent conversation. Everything was checked in a straightforward way and the process concluded without fuss.

The rental fully met our expectations: we were very satisfied with both the vehicle and the way Locauto’s team handled the whole process. Based on this experience, we will definitely choose Locauto again and we’re happy to recommend the Trieste Airport branch.

Collection and drop off were super easy.

A warm welcome with the necessary explanation about the Slovenian vignette and, of course, a good, well-maintained car. The same applies to the return: a smooth return of the car.

A very satisfactory experience with the vehicle rental. Picking up the vehicle was very quick thanks to the digital application for submitting documents, and I was able to return it by leaving the keys in the designated drop-off box.
