Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Overall great but
Had a good experience, the two ladies that to my order were very nice and helpful, the person over the phone was very nice and helpful when I wanted to fix the spelling of the message on the cake I bought, the cake was a delight and loved by everyone but the experience of picking up the cake was terrible - We were not acknowledged and waited in front of the Lolas stand while the lady behind was playing on her laptop and and doing various other things despite seeing us there. I took my phone out and opens the message saying order ready for collection and decided to hold it in front of her so that maybe she sees it and reacts. She did, the only thing that came out of her mouth was “I need a name”, she gave me the cake and that was it. No greeting, no thank you and goodbye, no communication at all, just a rude black lady working in the N. Greenwich Lola’s Cupcake stand on 10 Dec. I wasn’t impressed that the cake was in a standard box rather than the box that shows you the right temperature of the cake to eat but hey, I guess you can’t expect high standards to be upheld at all times from Lola’s. Taking off a star for this.
Also would like to say that I have a tonne of stamps from the old loyalty programme and now with the old one there is no transferability and apparently they are worthless now even though I have about 4-5 cupcakes worth. Won’t take a star off for this but flagging as not a great way to treat regular customers.

Absolutely delicious
Absolutely delicious selection of cupcakes.
I was so happy to have a wide selection of gluten free options (though I'd love to see some other flavours added to the gluten free range).
My flatmate and I enjoyed them very much, and will certainly be buying more.

I am very sorry to hear that you were sadly disappointed with your delivery experience.
I can see on our system your order was booked for delivery between 08:00-20:00. I am afraid this does mean the order can arrive at any time with your chosen slot. As it is a tracked delivery, this does mean your tracking link is sent via text once your delivery is next on the driver's route.
I can see that our driver attempted to deliver your order to the restaurant address on your order by 10:50am on your delivery date. As the restuarant was closed at this time, I can see that your order was received by our nearest collection store as my colleague informed you. I can confirm that your shipping fee was refunded on the day as an apology for any inconvenience caused.
I am very sorry once again to hear that your delivery sadly did not go as smoothly as expected. We do offer a range of delivery time slots to choose from and our drivers do follow a pre-planned route to ensure their deliveries are completed within the selected windows.

£3 per inch?
I ordered a 6 inch vegan cake to pick up at the chilled collection locker in Greenwich, I found that it was difficult to amend my order once it had been placed and that I would have to go through an email correspondence rather than having the option to do it myself easily online. The order cost £18 altogether, which I find quite expensive especially considering the cake is only 6 inches and is made with sugar, soya and wheat still, not raw natural ingredients. Although it was very tasty, I won’t be ordering again as I can’t justify paying this amount for a cake that is 6 inches

Disappointed
Well, lately Lola is not delivering the 100% service.
I wasn't able to collect my order because the fridge wasn't connected to a server. I was waiting for abour 1h and no one could fix it. My last option was to receive a refund and running to find another cake for my son birthday!!

It’s so bad
Unfortunately this time we were all disappointed. we have always trusted Lola’s cupcakes for our family birthday cakes but this time we were disappointed with service. I ordered two birthday cakes for my daughter and me for our birthday. We have prepared everything for the birthday. but they didn’t delivery the cake, and they also didn’t explain why. They just apologized and said it will delivery tomorrow. My little daughter was sad & cried a lot, because there was no cake for her birthday. Nobody needs birthday cake for tomorrow when no longer birthday. They left a sad memory on my daughter's birthday.
It’s a very bad service.
