Lola has been our favorite cake for years

Cake was outstanding! Service was excellent! Everyone enjoyed the cake.

I booked the red velvet cake for my son’s birthday to be picked up in the afternoon. I arrived to the shop and I found it packed and ready the the birthday note. The staff also helped with providing a range of colourful candles and disposable forks. Just the right size I needed and tasted amazing.

Lola's cupcakes are the best I've tried, so much variety & flavours. Beautiful presentation. Tasty and fresh!

Ordered a vegan raspberry and passion fruit cake for my friends Bday and it was delicious 😋. I always buy cakes from them for occasions!

Colourful and lovely. Taste really nice apart from the sponge was a bit dry.

I failed to tick the box for hand pipe message/personalise message as I ordered cakes from the “let’s celebrate” categories for Eid celebration as I was thinking that it is what it is as I literally ordered from the said category assuming that what’s on the online display is what I will be getting and allocated it on the Tottenham Court Road for collection. The staff there named Niho wasn’t at all very helpful that I have to call the customer service on the spot to ask for help as I wanted my cakes to have a hand pipe msg on it. Clearly, this staff doesn’t immediately told me from the first encounter that they’re not doing hand pipe msg there as he doesn’t have the materials and has been saying sorry as if he just want to dismiss me as it’s near closing time and he’s busy video calling on his mobile phone. He didn’t even know who are able to help me, where should he direct me if there’s a certain service that the branch wasn’t able to provide. What I mean to say is a staff is already in front of me then why should I call the customer service hotline for this where in fact a staff who are face to face with me should be able to help me with any concerns. I strongly commend the customer service representative during that time as he called me back to let me know which branch can do it for me so I went to London Selfridges and the staff there are absolutely lovely and helpful esp Claudia. She seems knowledgeable and skilled in what she do.

Fast customer service, and friendly staff.

Every Friday evening after work as my treat, I make my way to selfridges to be greeted by the lovely ladies on the lola's counter. I always order a one vanilla and one chocolate hazelnut cupcake. The sponge is soft and moreish, the icing is pillowy, these are my favorites, I've not had a bad one yet, consistently great. Yes they're not cheap but you accumulate points with each purchase which you can redeem off the price and on your birthday you're treated to a free cake. ✨️🎂

This year the cake was a bit disappointing.
It seemed smaller than it was last year, the sponge was tad bit dry and there could have been more jam in the middle.
Also, when you now order online, you have to have a vanilla coloured buttercream with the chocolate writing.
In the last two years, I had the option to choose the colour of the buttercream and the colour of the writing.
The price increase does not reflect the quality.

Great service and delicious cake.

We ordered our 2 tier wedding cake a couple of weeks prior to the wedding and collected it from selfridges the day before - as we were having a city wedding this was perfect for us. The staff on collection were great, the cake came in a lovely box and a bag to carry it (was rather heavy) but easily managed. The following day at our wedding the cake went down a treat, we went for the lemon sponge. Very tasty nice and moist - however we did end up with the whole bottom tier left over- so we took that home with us and shared it out in the coming days, the cake was still just as fresh a few days later. Would definitely recommend and if I ever need an occasion cake again I would not hesitate to order from Lola’s. Thanks so much.
