Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!

Good cakes but..
There is no doubt that your cakes are great which is why I always order from here whenever someone has a birthday. But the day of my birthday I had to quite literarily fight for a free cupcake because the lady at the counter didn’t believe me. Why isn’t this automatically in your systems?

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the service you received when claiming your free birthday cupcake reward.
We have recently transitioned to our new rewards club programme, which you can find out more here: https://www.lolas.co.uk/pages/loyalty-program
Birthday rewards are issued on your birthday and only once per year and you will receive the points equivalent of 1 regular cupcake to your account, which you can redeem instore or use towards an online order. If your birthday is added within 30 days of the date, the reward may be delayed for fraud prevention purposes.
You cannot be given a birthday reward without providing us with your birthday. Having checked your account, there is no birthday attached to your account, but this has been added now.

The cupcakes and brownies are delicious and affordable too! I haven’t tried their full sized cakes (yet…) but I really want to. Honestly the icing, toppings and cake are sooo yummy. I especially love the chocolate hazelnut cupcake and the cookies and cream/cookie dough brownie! Customer service is great! Staff is polite as always.

Lovely cake for a birthday
Lovely cake for a birthday that evening - there waiting when we went to collect it. Still a bit disappointed that there was no way to change even the colour of icing on a vegan cake, seems like you're just a bit too lazy to bespoke orders. You could have sent us better directions to our pick-up point underneath Waterloo station too, we were unfamiliar with the station and took a while to find you.

We always provide instructions along with a photo of our store locations on the store page on our website and would recommend calling the shop directly if you find that you are unable to find us with those instructions, but I will also be sure to pass your feedback on to see if we may be able to improve on these instructions for the future.
We are sorry to hear that you feel our team is 'too lazy to bespoke orders'.
Our bakers work very hard to provide high-quality fresh cakes every day to a large number of customer and stores across London, Birmingham, and Manchester, all coming from the same small bakery in North West London.
In order to provide a more bespoke service we would have to significantly slow down this process to ensure that we can meet both the technical demands of making the cakes as well as ensuring that your order is appropriately labelled with a bespoke ingredients and nutritional label to ensure compliance with Natasha's Law.
Unfortunately this is not something we can offer while ensuring we can meet both the demand and very competitive value that our customers expect but I will be sure to pass your feedback on to the relevant teams on this as well.

The cake was fresh
The cake was fresh, beautifully made, and enjoyed by everyone. Delivery to Lola’s was on time and the collection process was very smooth. When I asked to have a quick look at the cake before leaving, I was advised they couldn’t open the box due to their contamination guidelines. I hadn’t come across this before, but everything else was great and I was very happy with the overall experience.

I ordered the dinosaur cake for my dino-obsessed son's 4th birthday - it was brilliant! So delicious, very generously sized, he was thrilled! It was ready to collect in the morning of the day I had specified and I got an email telling me it was ready. Very easy collection and lovely people. Will definitely order again for birthdays!
