The same thing has happened to me. I ordered a telescope from what appeared to be a British company and now it says it’s in transport from China, but hasn’t moved for a week.
How does one get one’s money back?

I'm so frustrated I bought from this site without checking reviews first (joys of buying whilst ill). They are clearly a scam - sent to the website by another scam 'Top 10' site. Say they're UK but are not. Their website is a mess of inaccuracies, and the 'our story' section says they sell coffee pots in the US. They don't honour their 14 day cancellation noted on their FAQs, and the tracking was only updated to sent when I complained to them. I'm currently getting my bank to issue a chargeback.

UPDATE
My bank issued a chargeback as the goods didn't arrive in the time they said. Lumyy accepted the dispute and I got my money back, even though they dispatched the item. So it's worth pursuing a chargeback if it's late or has arrived and isn't as described. Don't bother asking them for a refund, you'll get nowhere.

Stay away I believe I’ve been scammed. They keep delaying giving me tracking numbers and saying it’s been dispatched. Don’t buy from them.

Please everyone - do not use this supplier.
They sell low quality products, often sourced from countries you really don't want to do business with and then delivered, when they eventually get stock, from China - often a number of months.
The products are often mis-sold and not as described and a completely different model than purchased - e.g. an electric steam iron with a 2ft long cable!
They are very evasive on their full refund and returns policy - which is essentially return the product to a warehouse in China, at your own cost and with no guarantee of the return ever being acknowledged. The cost of return is often greater than the original product purchase price. They also seem to set-up 'Best 10 Product' websites - so that you are misled into thinking you are ordering a really good product.
This supplier and their associated 'Shop' platform is a well oiled scam outlet supported by a specific country. I won't get into making political statements here.
Avoid at all cost

Scam site. Found them in what must have been a fake article listing top electronic notebooks. Got a tracking link, but when I contacted them it was a fake email. Currently trying to get money back on credit card.

Absolute scam, avoid avoid avoid

I ordered a smart robot vacuum on 05/10/2025 and received it on 29/10/2025. The package arrived well protected, with only minor damage to the outer box. However, when I opened it, I found that the vacuum itself was damaged, with several scratches on the top and sides. This item was sold as *new*, so I was extremely disappointed to find it in this condition.

I emailed the company on 03/11/2025 to report the issue and requested a full refund. They asked me to provide photographs, which I did. While taking the photos, I checked inside the vacuum and discovered a dirty filter, confirming that the product had been used before being sold to me.

The issue still hasn’t been resolved. Instead of offering a full refund, the company offered only a 20% refund for a £170 item that arrived damaged and clearly used—and that I have not used at all. They even accused me of causing the damage because I “waited too long” to contact them, even though I reached out just 5 days after delivery (only 2 working days).

I am shocked by the way I have been treated and by the complete lack of proper customer service. This company has been awful to deal with, and I would not recommend buying anything from them.

I ordered the AeroSweep S12 Pro Vacuum for £157 but another completely different looking very cheap & nasty model arrived shipped from China. Total Scam artists!!

I have also been scammed with a telescope that has not yet arrived

Reported to Barclays and Fraud Uk, hoping to get something back, as spent £134!!!

Total scam. Reviews are made up or don’t actual exist. Everything comes from china once you order and times can be many many weeks. Products are cheap, very cheap! Just avoid at all costs.

Total scam. I checked with the Financial Conduct Authority UK. This company is not listed as a registered trader and advised not to buy from this company. I also have American Express Legal following up on their negligence regarding false product/delivery advertising. My advice, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Please be aware and avoid this website at all costs. I have unfortunately fallen foul to this scam but thankfully paid via credit card. Information: the website was first registered on 11/09/25. In their "about us" they're based in America and are a coffee merchant.
The UK address that is listed on their website doesn't exist at the building either.
I have raised this with action fraud UK and encourage anyone who reads this to do the same.

I ordered an iron. Arrived after 3 weeks. Haven’t unpacked it as saw another review saying it was no good. Started asking for money back. They told me I have to pay postage and customs to China. Nothing on website was honoured. I count myself lucky to have recovered a third of the price. Iron going to council dump.

I had ordered a telescope as they advertise as a uk company which they are not, they also then say on their website they are based in USA which they are not they are a Chinese company who are scammers
Do not order of this company as they will just take your money & go silent.

Scam!!! Item arrived after nearly 3 weeks waiting & nothing sure of something out of a Christmas cracker!!! Disgusting these people shouldn’t be trading!! Returning my product, God knows if I’ll get my money back!!! Stay away from this site!!!!

Awful company, scammers! Ordered a projector which took the full 2 weeks to be delivered only to have a damaged box and the projector didn’t even do what it is supposed to do I.e features don’t work, can’t stream anything off of it! Been in contact back and forth for a few days now as trying to return but they are only replying to me with one email a day and I’ve got 14 days to return it.

Do not use this company! Very disappointed and angry that I used them and now have to go through all this hassle.

Lumyy and an Unremarkable writing experience: I followed a YouTube video recommending a screen to take notes as if writing on paper. Number 1 on the list I purchased from Lumyy. Remarkable was number 2. The reason the Lumyy product was 'so realistic' was because I'd actually purchased a pad of paper and a cheap 'digital pen' of no known manufacturer and with no instructions. Totally misleading video with a direct link to Lumyy. Please avoid at all costs.

Extremely disappointed. The digital frame showed up scratched, the box was badly dented, and shipping dragged on for 13 days. This was a complete letdown from start to finish. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

This is a scam brought the iron the cord is 15 inches long it’s not got uk plug it’s scam keep sending asking for money back and your going round in circles it’s a complete scam I am going to go trading standards don’t know how it’s still up and running
