I brought a Guardian Doorbell again…

I brought a Guardian Doorbell again google search showed this to be one of the top doorbells, I think google should check these companies out before allowing them to list on search engines. The doorbell is not as described and I am putting my payment in dispute with my credit card provider. Something needs to be done with these false rating sites. Like everything else in this country its all going to pot.

Reported to Action Fraud

Reported to Action Fraud. Scam review site, and non delivery. I was hopeful, as Evri was involved, and it was quite quickly into their delivery system, but unfathomable and or static delivery information. Incorrect and spurious delivery information from Lumyy. Please report any problems to Action Fraud. If enough people experience these issues, and report them, something might get done.

Would give zero stars if I could

Evri delivery never arrived. I contacted Evri and I have an email confirming it is lost. I contacted the seller and attached email from Evri but they are still not refunding despite repeated requests.

Seems this is not a genuine company at all. Ordered from them as apparently it was the ‘number one security doorbell’ in a review of several companies products including ‘Ring’.

Looks like I was scammed. Have now reported transaction to my bank.

Do not buy from this Company

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Bought a Guardian Doorbell Pro. I didn't realise that it comes direct from China.

It took ages to arrive. So by that time, I had sourced a different doorbell camera. But as they advertise a 30 day money back guarantee, I thought it would be no problem to return. Wrong!!!

You have to return it to China at your own expense.

Lumyy even try and stop you returning the item by offering a 15% discount and basically threatening that the return cost might even be higher than the original cost due to international shipping and customs duties. "This way, you won’t need to worry about shipping costs, long transit times, or deductions."

Not happy. I thought that I was buying from the UK.

This is a complete scam!

Absolute scam artists

Absolute scam artists, broken hoover arrived weeks late, no idea it's shipped from Malaysia. Utterly useless when it did arrive and I'm still trying to get a refund, they keep changing the return location, now China, going to cost me £60 to return it plus they say customs charges, despite the fact that it's broken, and trying to intimidate me into keeping it and accepting a 20% discount! Have now reported to Action Fraud and will be starting an investigation through my bank. PLEASE AVOID!!

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company! I purchased an iron and it arrived 4 weeks later with a European plug. They advertise electric pieces of tech which are just cheap Chinese rubbish, it’s false advertising. I’ve now written over 10 emails to say it’s not as advertised and I’d like a refund. They sent me an address I. China and now holding my refund until I pay the postage to them return it. Legally they are at fault and should arrange collection and issue a full refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they use a London address which is just a cover up. The company is registered in Leicester. The packaging and wording on the iron sheet s in Russian yet when you look on the website it’s in English. They are also trading under another name on Amazon. There are so many bad reviews yet they are still trading I’m never t going to let this go and determined to raise this matter higher and make sure other customers know have they operate.

Only when I went on their website and clocked their Sheldon Street address did I realise what a fool I was. Pulled in because when I googled the product I wanted, this item was in the top ten. Anything with that UK address is always going to be a scam. Coupled with a mobile number. And I only checked Trust Pilot because when they emailed me back after a delivery query, it was signed off as Team Lummy. Not Team Lumyy.

SCAM!!!

SCAM!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I found this website through google as it come up with what was apparently voted best vaccum cleaner. When I
went on the website, everything looked good so really stupidly, I impulsively
ordered a battery powered vaccum at a
sale price of £157.00, with a free £30
gift. My order should have been
delivered between 5-7 working days but
didnt arrive. I contacted lumyy support
and they appologised and told me it
was going to be a little longer than
expected but reasured me it was on its
way.
3 weeks later and a packaged arrived
from China! When I opened the plastic
covering, the box was ripped and looked asthough the contents had been forced back into the box and the box want closed properly. I
opened it up and it was the cheapest rubbish you could imagine,
It was like a child role play toy!
I contacted lumyy and told them I wasn't happy, it wasn't what I ordered and I was struggling to find the free gift. When they emailed back, they told me that I did infact order it as their items may differ from the picture! The free gift is in an email that they resent and it was pages and pages of pdf files about wellbeing! I told them this was false advertising and it does not state this on the website and asked if the £30 gift was a joke. After asking for a returns label, they are saying it's my responsibility to pay for returns but still won't give me an address!!

I went back on the website to have a look...
*The London address isn't registered to them.
* mobile number no landlines.
* icon for Trustpilot review stars than you can't click on.
* it always says "60 people are looking on out website right now"
* there is always " only 4 items in stock"
Now ended up getting another vaccum from Currys and learnt a very expensive mistake!

Beware everyone

Beware everyone, this site looks like a scam to me. My wife wanted an items from them, I looked into the site, the first red flag was that their contact number was a mobile phone! The next one was their address, ready for this... Via Endole there are 86,483 companies registered at 71 - 75 Sheldon Street, yep, you read that correct. Avoid this place like the plague. There are too many professional looking sites popping up that are scamming people these days. It doesn't matter how professional the site looks please do your due diligence, it is always worth it.

Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company! They advertise these super cutting edge pieces of tech which are cheap Chinese rubbish, it’s false advertising. Then their no quibble 30 day money back guarantee is non existent they will continually give you excuses saying your not doing this or that right or you have to change this or that setting non of which work! When you finally get given details of how to send back the product it’s so long winded and the return fees are so expensive you can’t be bothered with the aggro. I’ve learnt a lesson it’s cheap for a reason! Pay a bit more and go to a well known reputable supplier.

Ordered an iron from Lumyy in 9/2025

Ordered an iron from Lumyy in 9/2025. Like others in the reviews I sent many emails looking for the product to arrive. When tracking number finally came through I saw it was coming from China! I had no idea. I also tried to cancel but could not as it was ‘on its way’. Once the iron arrived 4 weeks later it was with an electrical plug not suitable for UK usage! Many emails back and forth asking me to prove there was no converter in the box, this required numerous photos. I asked for prepaid return label to send the iron back, thinking it would be returned to the UK address. Lumyy will not accept a return at the UK address - it must be returned to China at my expense and refund is not guaranteed. This is a fraudulent business and has no transparency. I wish I had read these reviews before placing the order.
