Can’t recommend enough! Customer service is fast (really appreciated talking to Mathilda- she would methodically explain to me what the issue was) and comprehensive. Services are top notch.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. We received prompt and clear responses from the agent named Philippa. We didn’t had to explain the issue a lot, the agent quickly understood the issue and got us a resolution.

Used to be better

In their fight for profitability after buying the customers with 4% interest rates on deposit accounts, now they closed down this type of account and locked this only to the ones that needs to pay for the monthly subscription. The limitation of only moving 100k nok per day is also not good once you want to pay bills and move money to invest in other products.

We always strive to improve our products to the better, and this was a choice made in order for us to expand our offerings, on the way to becoming a full-scale bank, also in Norway.

It is true that we have a limitation of 100 000 kr on transactions, however, the limit per day is 200 000 kr.

Im sorry to hear that you are displeased by our recent change. Our new savings account is dedicated to your savings, that is why we increased the interest on the account to 4,5%.

We have also created functions for the account so that you can easily save more and you can share the savings account with other Lunar users, and set up automatic transfers to the account.

When that is said, I would love to hear more from you about what products you would like, and how we can improve to make your banking experience as good as possible.

Risky to have with them big amounts …

It’s risky to hold large amounts of money with Lunar, as they can freeze your account without warning, demanding you to explain the source of the funds. This practice can make you feel unjustly treated, almost as if you're being accused of wrongdoing. Instead of providing a simple notification, their approach seems questionable and could be considered a violation of proper procedures.

I hope this detailed explanation encourages Lunar to improve their practices.

Super quick and effective

Super quick and effective. Philippa was really helpful and resolved my issue straight away. Lunar has been great bank for me with every feature I could possibly need to take care of my money.

Frequent issues

The bank's service is not so great at the moment. There are frequent errors and disruptions in the service which should not occur for a critical banking service.

Can't say enough good things about this…

Can't say enough good things about this bank! Was a small mixup regarding billing for my account, got squared away in no time thanks to Alva. Money refunded instantaneously and Alva was very quick and efficient with her customer service. Great bank run by great people 👍

not cluttered like other bank apps, love the digital cards and the fact I don't have to click through 15 menus to find what I'm looking for! my primary bank has a block in place for online purchases, ridiculously difficult to find out where to turn that off so now I just transfer to lunar whenever my primary bank makes anything too well hidden. if I could I'd make lunar my primary bank..

Great service

Great service

But… I moved my cash savings out of my Lunar account as I got better interest rate with Handelsbanken (4.85%).

Useless company!

Useless company!
First of all, it takes ages to transfer money to your card.
Then when I tried to use my card for paying a large amount to start dental treatment, they automatically blocked my card, with no additional information.
When contacting support, who has limited opening times, they said that they would look into it.
After calling several times, I was told to send them all my transactions the last 30 days on my private account in another bank.
Still they have not re-opened my card, so all my money are frozen on the Lunar account. I am not able to transfer them back to my private account.
You can see in the chat that your case handler has read your messages, but he does not respond.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Det høres ut som at kortet ble blokkert fordi systemet vårt kan ha trodd at det er svindelforsøk. Når det er sagt – er det ikke svindel, og du trenger kortet ditt, skal vi selvsagt hjelpe deg med å åpne det mye raskere enn at du skal behøve å vente et døgn.
