My Lunar account has been frozen for 7 days while I’m abroad with my child. No updates, no access to money, and demands for invasive documents. I provided proof for a legal payment, but they ignored me. Unsafe and unprofessional bank — avoid.

Lunar was great until October 2025 when they introduced a fee for "bankgironummer" leading to an 86 % increase of yearly cost in my case and in addition large numbers of small transaction fees. To me it was a very surprising move (in the negative direction).

Lunar is very different from big Swedish banks. Sometimes the app and the whole experience feels a bit row compared other banks, but this is more than enough compensated with the cost of their services and the customer support.
Setting up the company account is much easier, cheaper (probably cheapest in Sweden) and faster than with big banks.
Mobile app has some hiccups, but customer support is always very fast to respond in chat and pass info to their dev team.
Also at the time when AI chat bots are everywhere, they became rather an irritation than help. But Lunar's chatbot is surprisingly smart. It understands the context quite well, does some triage and passes information to a real person. I had a chat where I wanted to report a problem, and chatbot didn't ask a single repetitive or irrelevant question, didn't gave any "standard FAQ response", and didn't miss facts from the context.
Lunar doesn't support Swedish Plusgiro payments though, which is a pity. But otherwise is a great option for 1-man-company.

I signed up for Lunar Business Essential after speaking with a Lunar representative who assured me, in writing, that there would be no per-transaction fees for payment services. On 09 September 2025 I received confirmation of these terms, which gave me real confidence to move forward with Lunar as a partner for my business. However, just weeks after signing, I learned of price changes that include a per-transaction fee of 1.49 SEK, effective October 7, 2025. This change contradicts the terms I was promised before joining and feels like a misrepresentation, even though I understand businesses need to adjust pricing from time to time.
What’s particularly disappointing is not the idea of price updates alone, but the lack of clear, upfront communication and the reliance on promises that weren’t honored. I’m hopeful Lunar will acknowledge the gap between the pre-signup promises and the post-signup changes and offer a remedy—whether reinstating the original terms, providing retroactive credits, or offering a transparent, time-bound path forward.
I still believe Lunar has the potential to be a great partner for small businesses, but I would love to see stronger alignment between what is promised during onboarding and what is implemented later. Clearer, written commitments before onboarding would go a long way toward rebuilding trust.

I have had a very disappointing experience with this company. After transferring funds, I received little to no support regarding where my money actually went. Communication is extremely slow, often taking several days just to receive a response. When they do reply, the questions they ask are irrelevant and do not help resolve the issue. Instead of providing clear updates, they seem to hold my funds without explanation or simply state that they are unsure of the status. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable, especially when dealing with financial transactions. Customers deserve timely responses, accurate information, and reassurance that their money is safe—not delays, confusion, and excuses.

I have made a transfer from Lunar to another account of mine in Europe.
They allowed the first tranfer ,now they are keeping my money without letting the funds go to into my other bank,I have waited for 3 days.Provided them the documents ,they checked it 2 Times and they dont respond anymore
3 days for a transfer that it can take 1 Hour,it is crazy.

Couldn’t have imagined any easier flow to get my AB registered. It was a bit scary to just send 25000 SEK to an account before I could access it myself, but the automatic communication with verksamt made it smooth and very fast! I never waited longer than a day for the next phase.
