Delivery was by far the most efficient aspect!
The delivery guys were brilliant, got the job done quickly, were polite and efficient.
The effort to make the purchase however was not quite do efficient. Firstly trying to speak to someone so I could make the payment was almost impossible and then there was a distinct lack of communication from them, so much so I had to chase them to see if they had actually received my payment and then again to see about delivery.
For over £7000 I expect better service.
That said, the sofa is lovely, and like I say, the delivery guys were excellent.

I bought a rug online on a Friday, the same week on Sunday I went to the shop floor to verify the items, confirmed the rug, was a beautiful beige with blue around the edges, perfect for my living room as my curtains are dark blue. A kind sales representative person at the sofa&chair company (luxsale) located and showed me the items I bought online (sofa a rug)
When the items were delivered (1 week after ordering online) the rug was different than what I had seen, it was not the beautiful clean rug I saw hanging from the rails at the back of the warehouse in the shop floor building but, a similar one with charcoal borders instead of dark blue, dirty with pieces of dirt, had not even been hoovered! Awful!.
The rug was dirty and it was then when I understood I had been sent not the rug I saw and confirmed with the sale representative but another one that was lying on the shop-floor, another colour, and luxsale/sofa&chair company did not even bother to clean the dirt of the showing room!
I raised this immediately and the answer from the head of delivery/sales at luxsale was that they were not able to find the item I had seen. The item I saw in person “could not be found” so Im going again today, after 1 week from delivery date, to choose another item. A bit frustrating.
Employees at the company have tried to be kind but the experience has not been as usual.
I will update on the resolution so I tell the complete story and update my score, or not.
It is now over 2 weeks after first delivery. I had conversations with Laura, Head of Delivery luxsale; Camila in Client Services and both have not been able to be more supportive. Im very grateful with them for their time and explanations: seems that the colours of the rug was seemingly different due to lighting, which is something that is not noticeable straightforward. I has the rug delivered, this time the rug had not debris as the first time.
On delivery day, Marious and Joanis were extremely helpful helping me move furniture to place the rug.
I give the company 5* as if there were initial miscommunication, everything finally was resolved and Im super pleased with the items and the client service received.
Definitively would recommend to anyone, as even if there are issue, all will be resolved. Many thanks to Laura, Camila, in the shop Marious and Joanis on delivery!!!

Received new "Moore" sofa
Received new sofa, from sofa and chair company, the whole experience has been exceptional, from visiting the showroom discussing the options with the sales team and then the delivery team. Four lovely gentleman came to deliver the sofa, (Razvan/Catalin/Mariusz/Ioannis) very professional and pleasant.
Definitely recommend as its been a lovely experience. Much better than the general high street companies...

Expensive item missing from order and TERRIBLE client services
Well I’ve never thought it could happen to me and that I’d be that client leaving a negative feedback but here I am. I’ve ordered and paid for two expensive pieces on 22nd January, a sofa and a screen, but only one item out of the two has been delivered without any explanation. Since then I’ve been calling and emailing Client services both at Luxsale and at the sofa and chair company to chase my Cortino screen. But they don’t reply to your emails at all, you can hardly get through when you call and you can’t leave a message as their voice mail boxes are full. When you can actually speak to someone, it happened twice in the past 3 weeks and I did speak to a Client Services Executive who told me to contact Laura or Claire at Client services. I did email and try to reach them with NO result. I’ve got to escalate this now with trading services I suppose. I just want to receive the item I paid for or get a full refund for it now. It’s beyond me how you can run a business with no after sales and client services.

Stunning sofa, beautiful quality & Perfect service
Ordered a large sofa. Absolutely beautiful. The couriers were superb. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the photo online when I purchased was of a beige sofa and the one I've received is white! It is still beautiful and didn't want the hassle of sending it back so I've just bought a lovely throw to go over it. I would have no hesitation in using this company again but would check the same print on the description ~ the colour you are ordering may not match the picture!
