DO NOT USE LYCA MOBILE. WHATEVER YOU DO.
These guys have wasted countless hours of my time.
My phone broke and I have tried to transfer it to my new Lyca E-Sim, but I cannot provide them with two frequently dialled numbers as a security check.
Due to this I am locked out of my bank accounts, my email address and social media because I cannot provide the 2 factor authentication with that phone number.
Eduardo who handles the social media communication wasted my time for a full month. I told him in my first message the above situation, and over the following weeks he pretended he would help, only to tell me weeks later that he could not do anything without the two frequently dialled numbers.
PEOPLE USE WHATSAPP TO CALL THESE DAYS. THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBLE SECURITY CHECK FOR SOME PEOPLE.
I have called them on the phone, they tell me to contact this email and the issue will be resolved in 5 days... cs at lycamobile.pt
I have contact this email for 2 months and they give me no response.
They tell me here to contact trustpilotreview at lycamobile.com for help and then ignore my emails.
Finally- Dilma Lourenço contacted me back on 29th of December and said that he would finalise the change, I confirmed what they asked and they still did not change the numbers.
I thought Dilma was going to be the person to help but they have ignored my emails now for two weeks also.
It's very clear that this company do not care about their customers.

I am so surprised that one small problem couldn’t solve the entire customer service team .. I have been using Lyca sim since 4 years never wanted to change but the suddenly my outgoing and incoming calls are blocked .. I call two months continuously to the customer care team they couldn’t even resolve the problem .. after two months the team said my profile didn’t match the system.. are you kidding me 🤯 so disappointed

Terrible service from what was once a good company. Usage data frequently unavailable in one's account, problems with auto-renew, no longer accepts Paypal, etc.
Very disappointing.
Compounding the disappointment is the fact that Lyca responded below, I provided contact information, and they never even attempted to contact me. In other words, their show of concern was empty.

Lycamobile blocked the portability of my number to DIGI without any reason. Its my kid number and now there is a very sensitive personal data locked in a number that seems a very serious GDPR violation. Also I got the answer from the portability more than a week after when it should only take between 1 and 3 days.

Rip off... You sell 100Gb esim but no where you warn about hotspot being disabled, not working... So the only thing I bought the esim card for to watch some TV doesn't work. I'll make sure I'll always tell anyone I can in both Portugal and the UK, that I got robbed by Lycamobile.
Update - Lyca mobile contacted to let me know they don't offer hotspot service. Make that clear to people on the screen where you buy it, don't hide it in one of the contract clauses.

I have now contacted Lycamobile to cancel an unauthorized autopay on November 26th, December 1st, twice on December 10th, December 15th and December 21st with zero response or acknowledgement on their side. I will be cancelling the payment through my bank, which will involve cancelling my card entirely. I will be reporting them to every ombudsman that I can think of. Responses here directing you to email them through Trustpilot are entirely useless. Do not ever, ever, ever use this service. Whether incompetence or outright scam, it doesn't really matter.
Edited to add on Dec 27th: have now provided info via Trustpilot and emailed again and still had zero response from the Lycamobile PT team.
